I visited this store a number of times during my last trip to Florida. It's clean, convenient, and has easy parking. It's nice to find a clean, bright, well laid out supermarket. It was easy to park, the garage had good lighting, and there were security guards on patrol. It was easy find what I was looking for inside the store and get out without a lot of fuss. The prices were pretty good, and I saved some money with groceries I found on sale. The staff was professional, and rang me up quickly each time. I can't think of anything bad to say about this store. read more

This is a nice clean Publix supermarket, it has everything you need in one spot, it has a nice deli and bakery, which makes great subs and fresh bakery products. One thing I don't like is the covered parking lot is so crowded and congested. They really need better parking. They do have upstairs parking in the garage too, but it even gets crowded. It's a busy publix.The prices keep going up at these Publix and the only way to get like a normal price is to get the buy one get one. They normally keep enough lines open to get you through very quickly and the customer service is great. read more

Absolutely great grocery store. They make your sandwiches to order and use great ingredients. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and large for the price. The store has everything you need, including some hard to find spices and ingredients. The staff is some of the best I've ever experienced and should be a standard for the industry. I was shopping there bout one week ago when a man with a black dog aggressively tried to hit me and was using very foul language very loud and very hostile. I called the police on him but the manager there did not tell the truth to police bout what happened. There were other customers that told police what happened but the incompetent lying manager did not see the truth. Yall can watch the cameras from that day and see for yourselves how it was handled. She's a black lady with glasses that talks with a funny voice. This is my go to Pharmacy. Always helpful. Always looking out for my interests. Superb service by a well trained staff and Rx management. I picked up a medication today and saw a sign for RSV vaccine. Decided to get the shot in the arm since I was already there. Even though the vaccine specialist was on break, the pharmacist was kind enough to give me the shot herself. That's great customer service. read more

This was the 1st time I went shopping here. There is a lot of parking- indoor garage as well as a rooftop parking lot. This Publix is very well spread out. The aisles are wide & easy to find items. I liked the overall layout. The wine section is awesome. Very well thought out. This Publix has a lot of self checkouts. I really like that. Especially if you have only a few items in your cart, or if they have very long lines. I definitely want to shop here again. read more

Another Publix but in a different type of location. You have to park in the covered parking lot and walk to the front of the store past the cop cars (they are there often) and/or security people. And another place we've been to numerous times, but yelp isn't showing a review from me... So here goes. We came specifically to find a particular cheese that I had seen online and wanted to try. Searching for the nearest retail location, this was indicated. So after a lunch across the street, we headed here to find the cheese and pick up a couple extra items. Prices here -- especially in the produce section -- were very high. Perhaps a reflection of being not far from the beach and in an upscale neighborhood. They were even higher priced than the usual Publix we go to -- for a few select items only they have -- a bit further west. Unfortunately, they did not have the cheese i wanted. A staffer told me that they do normally carry that brand, but they had just cleared the display of all cheeses out of date code -- including the one I was looking for -- so that was that. He did suggest two other brands with a similar composition. I did wind up buying another one that was on bogo (a deal!) -- and tried it when we got home (and liked it). It's not a usual place we'd shop, but if in the area and didn't want to drive or stop anywhere else, we'd come back. read more

I used to go to that Publix all the time but I stopped going as often due to their high prices. Unless you get a Bogo deal, it's definitely overpriced. I like this store though because it's clean, well-organized and staff is friendly. Well, last time I went (9/23), I paid my groceries with a cashier (to avoid the self-check-out) and was charged $62.62 (still have the receipt). I thought it was a little high for what I had purchased. I requested the receipt and when home, I realized I was charged twice for the same item! Since I haven't notice it while at the store, I can't request a refund. It's a shame that you can't trust the cashier anymore. read more

Extremely overpriced ! And when I went to grab a rotisserie chicken and was ready to check out they didn't sell it to me as it was 11minutes over the Expire by time. Fresh chicken out of the oven NO! This was the closest grocery store to my home when I lived in pompano beach. Would come here for groceries and for picking up prescriptions. The staff is nice as well. The pharmaceutical department works in 1st gear. No lines or anything', and they make you wait over the expected time. No welcoming greeting , and they speak to you looking in different directions, as if they can't be bothered. The personality of a brick. Even the female Pharmacist is cranky and rude. Because my mother complained about the wait time, the pharmacist said , " if you want to leave you can."I don't recommend coming here for Flu shots, or anything for that matter. The employees at the pharmacy department are very grumpy, very rude and have bad attitude. No greeting, no eye contact, they don't want you there. I went to pick up my medication 48 hours after the doctor has send the new prescription. One of the employees wanted me to explain to her why the doctor has change the dosage. Then she said she can't give it to me. Then she changed her mind and decided to give it. She told me I have to wait two hours. There was no line, nobody. When I complained about the two hours waiting time, they told me I can leave and don't care if I will write negative review about them. The 3 employees were screaming to me at the same time telling me to go. I am moving to CVS, where people are friendly and provide delivery service. read more

First impression: Shiny and New! This Publix will wow you. An expansive deli with ready to eat food, hot and cold bars, a bountiful bakery, a cheese station to die for, wines, an adjacent liquor store, wide aisles, and loads of open space and fresh fruits and veggies. Service was friendly. The parking garage is an added bonus - well lit and perfectly convenient for those extra tropical South Florida days. One star was lost because: a) The bakery clerk had an issue pricing a partial tart order for a customer. The wait time exceeded five minutes, and she still hadn't completed the transaction despite having asked a coworker for help. I could wait no longer, and had to leave the sweet looking cannolis behind. b) The Flora sauce was advertised as Buy 1 Get 1, though at check out I was charged for both. The customer service attendant resolved this via a refund within a few minutes, however, had I not noticed the error it would have cost me $. I'll be back for: those cannolis and much, much more! read more

Oh and I dropped my drivers license in the parking lot today and some VERY NICE PERSON **thank you very much whoever you are** the pharmacy called me immediately (I was literally a block away) to tell me that they had my drivers license. This kind of customer service is such a blessing. The shelves are always stocked and as many times as I've been here (actually it's probably 3 times a week for the past 4 years) I've never had one complaint. This is quickly becoming my favorite Publix. Although my work is actually closer to the Publix on Cypress Road, just south of Atlantic, I find myself driving farther to this one because it's just so much better. First up: the garage. I love being able to have covered parking in South Florida. Although I've never have an issue getting a spot here on the first floor, they do have a second floor and an elevator. Sure, some of the drivers are, uh, "special," but that's South Florida. The deli section is awesome. Super friendly employees, quick-moving sub line... what's not to like? I was picking up a rotisserie chicken breast for my co-worker (they asked which flavor I wanted and they took one of the whole chickens in the back to cut it), and while waiting, I had three other smiling employees come up and ask if I was being helped. Now that's good customer service right there. Also in the deli area, they have an olive bar, a hot food bar, and a salad bar. This salad bar is legit. Different varieties of lettuce (iceberg, romaine, mixed greens and spinach), various toppings to choose from, and five different dressings. Since all of the "bar" options are $7.99/lb., you can grab some of the different olive options and put them in your salad too (the ones with minced garlic are fantastic). Since I made the mistake of eating Chinese food yesterday and haven't felt very well since, I decided I needed a detox meal today and headed toward this Publix for a spinach salad. I was a little dismayed to see that spinach wasn't in the bar, but one of the store managers came by and I asked if they could put out spinach, which they happily obliged. They actually went and pulled one of the cases of spinach out from the produce section for me! And finally, the pièce de résistance of this Publix... the express checkout kiosk! For real, why don't more stores have this?? I am usually in here just to grab something quick for lunch, so I only ever have one or two things to buy. This is a little podium by the east-side entrance doors where you can buy your items without waiting in line at the regular cash registers. Brilliant, I tell you. Service here is great. Everyone is always asking you if you need help. When you ask for a location of anything they will help guide you and take you there. The store itself is well organized and super clean. Produce is fresh always in my opinion. The customer service desk is located right at the center so it's really convenient to just pop in and ask for help when you're lost. read more

Was ordering my sub & this is the only Publix Ive gone to where they are too lazy or not capable of going to the back to get a package of sweet sriracha sauce to put on the sub. They offered it as the sub of the day once & it was really good but if they don't have on opened already they never want to go get a new one and open it they just pretend they're out. I've been to this Publix a handful of times, and every time I'm equally blown away! Hands down the best Publix I've ever been to! PARKING - a well spaced garage with ample parking. Only downside is no EV charger, but I'll let that slide for now lol. THE STORE - well, it's extra big! Well laid out and lots of cashiers. Even the customer service counter is set out differently and really commands attention. Truth be told I've only ever come here for sandwiches, so my extent of seeing the store has been mostly the deli section and the produce section, but this is exactly why the store is a step above the rest. The deli section doesn't just make those regular Publix subs (ok some people swear by Publix subs) but compared to the handcrafted sandwiches this store offers to make, the subs seem quite regular. Want a caprese salad pressed sandwich? Done! Want a chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers and an olive tapenade? Done! These sandwiches are amazing! And don't stop the sandwiches from keeping you away from the awesome salad bar and olive bar! THE SERVICE - Everyone here is super friendly. This has been a go-to store since I was a little girl... Every time I visit family. It has changed a lot over the years. The store is ok, but the parking garage is a mess. Thing is that I just love Publix. I wish we had them in Ohio.....so sad.... The Publix brand us tops. Sweetened tea actually sweetened with sugar not high fructose corn syrup brie made en France I could go on and on.... Love it. Not as fantastic as all the reviews on here... parking garage is an interesting idea, however it's a little difficult to navigate. I was almost hit twice in under a minute driving through here. Stopping at the bakery for bread, I noticed flies in the bakery case containing the sub rolls and bagels. I notified a worker about the flies, and he did nothing about it. Gross! The deli employees were more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. Overall, not impressed with this store and it's employees. I'll stick to my regular Publix on Federal and McNab. read more

Usually a great store, has become a homeless camp on the tables out front and now they wonder around the parking lot approaching customers entering and leaving harassing you for money for food...er..I mean herion. Until store cleans this up and eliminates this from the grounds we won't return. My grandmother needed the mobility cart yesterday and two homeless dregs were sitting in them in the lobby, charging heir cell phones and would not move. Manager did nothing about it. Chris in the seafood department is extremely rude and isn't fit for customer service at all. He never greeted us which should be unacceptable especially at a place like Publix. We asked for 3lbs of crabs and he didn't say anything. Just grabbed the crabs, weighed them and handed us the bag. I actually said "I hope you have a good day. Thank you" his response was "yep." Public Pompano Beach is a beautiful very well kept store! The staff are very helpful and the store is immaculate. I ask for help in the produce section and at the meat counter and was very happy with the courteous and friendly staff that was very happy to help! Ordered jerk turkey sub with lettuce and onion. Sub came with no bacon or honey mustard. Went to guest services and was told to go to deli to have it remade, went to deli and was asked if I wanted it put on. Being that I already bit into the sub I said no, because honestly what kind of asshole is gonna touch and already eaten sub and put their hands all over the food other customers are about to eat. Not to mention the woman who made my sub watched me wait in line for 15 minutes and not once asked if anything was wrong. The gentleman who tried to help me walked away without saying anything and left me at the counter. I went back to guest services and they refunded me cash due to the simple fact nobody wants to do anything in their deli. I missed lunch at work that day. I ordered off the menu I shouldn't have to babysit the sandwich. Just make the menu WTF for a place that is famous for subs it takes too long to get your food. I'll order online next time read more

We shopped here today primarily in the Deli today. The employees were super friendly with smiles on their faces! This is a rarity in Ohio. They were attentive to details such as the thickness and the taste in the product.
