I use prescription eyedrops for a chronic eye condition. My insurance would not let me order a refill until 11/13. Things got busy; I ordered it on 11/15. My last refill ran out on 11/16. They filled the order on 11/16 but did not send their customary notification until 11/18, and then the message header did not identify either the drug or the sender; in my phone's long list of incoming texts, it looked just like spam. So I didn't read it until 11/19, after I checked the order status on CVS's web site as preparation for calling them to ask why the shell they hadn't done anything yet. The previous time I ordered it as soon as the insurance would let me, which again was only a day or two before I ran out. CVS's computer informed me that it was very sorry, they were temporarily out of stock, but they'd get it in Real Soon Now. The prescription was not new then. They knew I was likely to reorder it, and they knew when almost to the day; couldn't they make sure they'd have it in stock when I needed it, instead of doing nothing, then scrambling to get it not-much- too-late? No... that's too much to ask. Every time I refill this prescription I seem to end up with no drug for a few days, for one reason or another. I'm profoundly unimpressed.

If you have 4-6 cars ahead of you, you can guarantee a 40-50 minute wait time sitting in line until you get served. Fast food drive thru's take less time to give you your food! So it begs the question: WTF is taking so long to get your prescription! My wife and I are over this and are thinking we wouldn't mind paying a little more for prescriptions if they take this long. The wait times inside the store are even more atrocious!

I asked one of the two women who were stocking the shelves (and blocking the shelves with their big cart) if she has seen Krill Oil. She just smirked at me and moved the cart over a few inches. The other woman walked up and spoke to her in another language that was not familiar to me. Apparently neither of them speaks English. Ok, guess I'll have to find it myself. I searched the area that was behind the cart and saw some krill oil on the very bottom shelf. There were 5 boxes of the one I wanted but every single one of the boxes was cut open at the top! I'm certainly not going to buy a product that has been cut open. I gave up on the krill oil and decided to get the next item on my list. On the next aisle over I asked another woman wearing a walmart vest if she could get something from the locked cosmetics cabinet for me. She said, "No, I can't." And started to walk away. I asked if she could tell me who could or call someone who could open it for me. Same answer, "No, I can't." What the -? As I looked at her incredulously, she tilted her head towards another employee 2 or 3 aisles down who was walking away in the opposite direction and said, "Maybe she can help you." Seriously? I was looking for ice to add to my drink coolers for my event and found packs of ice near the drinks. They were a bit more expensive than other places I've stopped at, but the convenience of being near my event made it worth it. Plus I wasn't sure if Walgreens would have ice and I was so glad there was some. It seemed the store was lightly staffed, but when one of them saw me walking towards the cash register they joined me there to check me out. I went for a walker and not only found exactly what I wanted (been doing a lot research on line, but like to buy things in local stores), a red walker with a seat and brakes, but a STANDER. Yes, that is what it is called. No seat, no brakes, but weighs only 4 pounds and easy to squeeze together and swing into a car trunk with one hand. Vanessa was extremely helpful in fitting everything to me. Will be back for shoes and a leg-lifter (helps swinging up bad leg into bed and also getting into and out of the automobile). This store looks like it is small, but it is jammed with all sorts of medical assistance devices and the range of walkers is outstanding. As a first-time customer, the discount was most welcoming! I got a 6 wings combo that came with one side for $6.97. The portion is so big that I was able to split it into two meals. I love the buffalo wings and potato wedges here. Compared to other chains, they are surprisingly very flavorful! The deli lady was super nice. I will be back!
