Made a stop at this Walmart location. This is the normal location that I usually stop at to pick up any items that are needed. Every time that I have come into this Walmart location, they have always had all of the items that I've needed. They are located on Old Statesville Ave. there is plenty of parking in the lot which is designated for the Walmart location. There are also other establishments in the same plaza such as McDonald's, fire stone auto, and an Exxon gas station with a car wash. So essentially it could be a one stop shop for all things that are needed. The staff inside the location is normally very helpful, however as with all Walmart locations unless you go early you will likely stand in line. However the good thing is that the self check-out isles normally run very quickly and are not as busy as the regular checkout lanes. read more

This particular Walmart can improve on its customer service and customer support. From the customer service to the two young guys that work the self check in front of customer. Several times, unfortunately I didn't have a price on clothing or the item would ring up. To ask for assistance, is like breaking the golden rule. There really need to be more training when it comes to customer service and having a welcoming disposition when working. Its almost like they believe they are doing me a favor. Hopefully, there will be some changes or improvements with customer service. read more

On June 23,2026 I visited this store at 8:15 am. Early bird getting the sales and bargins before they we're gone. The tee shirts were marked 2.00 with an assortment of colors. I went to the register to ask cashier to check prices. She did an we notice that 2 were coming up 2.00. she then called for the department manager which was a young man with locks and gold trim which no reflection to his hairstyle. He came up and said to me those white shirts are never to be on sale they're white tees we never mark them down. I said to him they were all on the same side and he said and as I said they are not marked down he then told the cashier give me the shirts they're not $2. I didn't ask him to call for the manager because I did say give me the shirts he said to me and you're not getting for $2 now and walked away very rude nasty disrespectful and unprofessional! Then the front end manager Tiffany came up after hearing what he said and not coming to the front of the store to address the customer she came to me and said ma'am the best I can do is get you 10% off of $10 I said no ma'am the shirts are on the side with $2 and I'm the customer and I wanted for two dollars. First of all your customer service should be more important than saving the $8. Then the sales associate which was over that department continue to Pace in front of me as if it was intimidating or saying that I got you I would not be intimidated by these young uneducated employees that refuse to learn. I then asked for the manager which was Paul he came up and apologized for their negative behavior and sold me the shirts for $2 which Tiffany could have done but she wanted to make sure she supported the unprofessional behavior of one of her subordinates. Not only have I seen this store change I've seen this store go through several types of manager and have mercy on Paul because if they don't train the employees they should not be managers or department heads. I've always been told that the pen is mighty and today I choose to write this review as lengthy as it is I hope it gets some attention and I will also forward it to corporate have mercy on Paul because he has no customer service representative. terrible delivery of my order not once but twice. the first time a man pulled into my drive in a beat up car. He threw the package up the steps onto the porch from the driveway. it hit the door. It was makeup that broke. Second time: delivered to the wrong house although my address is clearly displayed. It was RAINING, and it was left in the bushes at the top of a neighbors driveway. Can't go wrong with Walmart. They always have everything I need, and this shopping trip was no exception. It's been awhile since I've visited this location, so I was surprised to see the security gates at the grocery entrance. I saw lots of nice kitchen items that could make great gifts for myself or someone else. Despite the supply chain issues affecting retailers around the country, they seemed pretty well stocked. Employees could use more customer service training, as they aren't the most friendly people I've encountered in a grocery store, but it wasn't a huge deal as I didn't really need help today. Not impressed Looking for a Cabbage Patch Kid for a young girl in Phoenix AZ and Walmart and Target showed up on internet search as carrying Cabbage Patch. Results were zero on finding one at this store. Looking at other items, back to school items were good barging but finding anything else was problematical. My wife previously had had good luck finding a hard to find item at this store but I did not. It's a case of try you luck and you may be lucky and you may be not. So I am revising my review because of how Walmart has handled this situation and the communication and transparency completely make up for the issues we had the other night. JJ, the manager for the store, personally called me this evening to figure out what happened after I sent a message to Walmart's customer care center. The care center returned an email correspondence within 24-hours to say I would be contacted soon to figure out the issue. We talked. The issue is already being addressed and he ensured me this is a problem they have had in the past but have been working on solving since he started there. Focusing on that department specifically (for anyone who has posted similar reviews in the past... you might wanna try again soon to see if you have a different experience!). Things happen! OMG!!! What a complete dump! I am 100% positive I will NOT return to that store. One lane open for check out, FINALLY they opened a second one and it was very clear she had no desire to be there. After she rang everything up, the CC machine stopped working so I had to go to the service desk to pay. That guy clearly did not want to be there either and spent the whole time on the phone complaining to a co-worker about having to cash me out because he did not believe the CC machine was not working. read more

Out of all the Wal-Mart's I have been to in my life this is definitely one of my favorite locations. In the Charlotte and surrounding areas, this is hands down the one I prefer to go to. This location is always clean and always organized. They are always well staffed here. And I have never had a problem with any staff here either. They have always been helpful and friendly. I just wish they had more ethnic options here like I have seen at Walmarts in Charlotte. read more

Yes, I'm leaving a review on Wal-mart It's always cheap, they have everything you need, and you can always find a location near you. BUT you get the experience you pay for... My biggest issue probably has to do with the amount of people who go to this location AND especially the amount of people they allow into the store at a time. As far as covid, I am not convinced this is the most sanitary place to shop. Yes they have people who wipe down the baskets, but if the baskets are left in the parking lot and there are none available (happened both times I've been) then you must bring one in yourself or stand and wait for one. There is absolutely no one at the door ensuring entrances are used effectively for social distance and no one limiting or counting how many people. The store is packed, so as you walk down aisles you come into very close contact with at least 4/5 people per aisle. That's about 60 people by the time I'm done shopping. They really should consider putting down aisle stickers for up and down so that it limits the amount of people going opposite or down the aisle. With the amount of people, i do my best to not touch items unless I'm going to buy them but still so many people have touched the produce and products in the store it's concerning. They also started locking up items in the store because of theft, which is understandable. The items I needed that were locked up: socks and blow dryer. It took me 15 minutes to get each, I had to ask two different employees from each department. Don't be mistaken the employees were great! But they can't help that they have 10 people waiting at a time for something because they have to walk you all the way to the register. The only actually employee issue I had was buying a tv. Arrive in electronics and there are three gentleman (employees) standing around a basket. After kinda figuring out what I want and realize tv boxes are empty so I need help, I approach one of the guys to let him know I need help. He told me "okay." I went back to the television and waited to realize he didn't follow me to help, but actually walked back over to his colleagues to chat. After a few minutes, frustrated I approached them and said can "ANYONE" help. He said "oh you just had to tell me which one you went" BS DUDE you never said that. And they didn't have the one I needed LOL I just think if you can afford it and can be inconvenienced by distance then do it for a better experience. read more

This is a Wal-Mart where they put things under lock and key so that they do not get shoplifted. We prefer the Wal-Marts in Denver or Mooresville. They are much nicer and the shelves aren't bare and messy like this Wal-Mart. read more

I've just started using their grocery pick up service and it's a game changer. I've previously used and love Instacart. This is the same thing minus delivery to your home and it's FREE. I order online, schedule a time for pick up and scoop up my groceries in the designated area. Signage is great, just follow the orange signs and arrows to the pick up zone. Negatives? Selection can be limited and sometimes they can't substitute an item you want. Usually for me it's been one item per order. Far outweighing the convenience of this free service. read more

Typical Walmart store so it's a one stop shop for everything you need. They move items around very often here which can get very confusing. They are also frequently out of something I need. I have also noticed they don't carry some items that I can find at nearby Walmart's. I do like that they have updated the self checkout lines and added additional ones to cut down on the pile up at the registers. read more

This is by far the worst managed Walmart I have ever experienced multiple times. Unfortunately it is the closest to my house. I only come here when absolutely necessary. Every time I try it again, the shelves are a mess, the place is filthy dirty, many items don't have pricing, today one of the many items was eggs , no pricing on 18 count eggs?!?! and all throughout the beauty isle. I had stopped here last week and left due to the mess, long lines, and non pricing. Today over a week later, the same shelves are a mess, many still remain empty, they do not restock. Even a lot of displays in isles and end caps aren't priced!! Just says "special ". There hasn't been one time I've been here in almost 3 years where more that 4-5 registers are open with lines 5-10 customers deep waiting to check out and the slowest cashiers with attitude I've ever experienced. There never is a supervisor anywhere in site. I left my cart in line to complain, it was dinner time, they were closing registers with at least 5-8 people deep waiting, now only 3 registers open!! I found a woman coming out of a padlocked door who said it must be break time. Break time during rush hour, REALLY?!?! 15 minutes later they opened 2 more registers, taking no one who had been waiting so long, all new arrivals!!!! It took me over 30 minutes to check out with frozen, now melted groceries!! And it grew uncomfortably warm, they apparently shut the a/c down, even the cashiers were dripping in sweat!!! The most pitiful Walmart I have ever seen in my entire life. The cleanest part of the store was the shopping cart area. I knew something was off when I saw 2 cart corralls pointing uphill so the carts fall back and hit the cars in the parking lot. We went inside and first noticed that every aisle looked like it had been raided. If there was any stock at all, it was just thrown anywhere. The entire store was like this. I have been using grocery pickup at this Walmart for about a year. I have always had to wait at least 20 minutes for someone to bring out my groceries, no matter what time of day or which day of the week. Last week I waited for an hour! I checked in prior to my arrival. No one answered the pickup phone line and no one answered the phone inside the store either. It's like my groceries were being held hostage. When I finally did get my groceries, I went inside the store to complain to a store manager and all I got was an eye roll. It's no secret to those that know me that I am NOT a fan of Walmart. I'd rather be tied to a chair and forced to watch Pretty Little Liars! Having said that if you are in Charlotte and must go to Walmart, like we do, then this Walmart is perhaps the best in the Charlotte Metro area. It's in a very nice area and is a pretty new store. It's usually clean and here is ample space in the store. They offer free wifi and a Subway and a brand new McDonald's just opened outside with new fancy kiosk ordering. Had to go in to buy jeans as mine ripped and grab some chips for lunch....the person pulling call in orders was blocking entire aisle totally ignorant to the fact that in store shoppers wanted by...NO attempt to move, even when he just turned to get something from the other side of aisle.
