Came to Hollywood Hair & Beauty for a few items. There was a tub of braiding gel that they marked…read moreas $11.99. There was a large sticker with a barcode on the lid, showing that price. I get to the register and the cashier rang the gel up for $50. I showed him the sticker on the tub and he rips it off and said "oh a customer put that there". It was clear that the sticker was not peeled off of another item and replaced by a customer. It was not wrinkled or anything, it was perfectly placed and secured on top. Furthermore, where would the customer get the stickers from and what customer do you know that's going to place a reduced sticker on an item and not actually purchase the said item? it was clearly marked by someone working at the store and the price should have been honored as it was their mistake. I will continue going right down the street to TISUN Beauty Supply, where I've been going!!!

I was planning on shopping for more spring items and would have spent more money at this store than the $42 that I originally spent on this dress. Because it was without a receipt they would not take it back. I even have the tags on and everything it was even in the same bag that I purchased it from. They did not have my information in the system and so now I am stuck with a dress that I do not like. The associate even contacted the owner who said it's against policy. That is fine but I'm not going to shop here again if there's no chance to return items once you get home. Also, there needs to be a paperless option in the computer for this sort of receipt less incident. It's a shame that for $42 the owner lost a customer. I have a teenage daughter and I won't be taking her here anymore either. I try hard to support small businesses however this was poor customer service.

The place is HUGE and they have several different departments from kids to home. I loved perusing the women's section. I was able to find some nice inexpensive jeans, tops and socks. I loved this store, it had things I like to wear and lots of basic pieces that you can add to an outfit. Very very affordable. I definitely understand why people who knew about this store were so excited for one to open in Charlotte. I purchased a dress that I had to go down in size and jeans that I had to go up in size. Try on everything so you can make sure it fits. My fitting room experience was not great. The attendant was more concerned with conversing with her coworkers than checking me in. Self check out can be tricky if you are not paying attention. The lady ahead of me did not get a receipt and the attendant told her incorrect info about obtaining it. After I paid and my receipt did not come out, I asked for assistance. Turns out the paper was jammed in the machine. I have my receipt, but the lady in front of me was SOL. The manager told her if you need to bring something back to tell them what happened. I hope they don't give her a hard time about that! I do agree with other Yelpers to come here during the day or during the week to not be in a crowded store. Oh and they close at 8pm with the mall, not 9pm as the Yelp listing says.

Sometimes there are lots of unsavory characters hanging around in this store... sometimes everything is awesome. Such is my dilemma with this place. Today it looked like there had been a fight or a tornado that went through the store. Items were everywhere. It's mother's day so maybe they had a huge rush of people who ran through violently looking for that special gift for their mother. Also, the lines are soooo long. There are times I've come here for one specific item, find it, and take one look at how long the line is and put the item back. When I do wait in line, I've had an issue where other patrons were upset at their placement in line and got rude. This location will either be a hit or miss with you. It will all depend on the day, time of day, who's working/in the store, and what items are available lol.

First, this affordable little boutique has the worlds finest greeter an adorable, soft, fluffy, super friendly poodle mix "Riggins." He is big and huggable! If you're a dog person, and Lord knows I am... He makes quite the impression, and establishes a warm and welcoming environment at the front door. Second they have unique clothing for women and girls in every stage of their lives. From cozy sweaters to classic, fun and funky pieces ready to wear to work, church, the airport or anywhere else that life takes you. Third, they have adorable novelty items that are perfect for gifts. I had such a great time perusing the items. I even purchased a baseball cap to rep my area code. Fourth, Parking is plentiful! Plus the dressing rooms are huge. Fifth, and this cinched it... Complimentary cold (local) beverages. I appreciate anything that promotes local goods! So hats off to Adair for that. I tried on every brand and she measured my feet and allowed me to choose. I felt better walking out than I did walking in. I was always an asics girl but I think shoes change so quickly.
