Always busy here at the Keeaumoku location. Security guards, welcome greeters and mostly smiles abound. Just outside the entrance to Walmart can be sketchy at times. Today the police and security presence was duly noted. Here to pick up birthday card packs for my Dad. Value packs are great. Side tracked to the craft sections and picked up a few patches. I couldn't resist it. Service was fast and friendly here. I didn't go to the self checkout lines as it was crowded. The assisted check out had no line! If you're hungry, you can order a plate lunch or burger to go at L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

Everyone has been to Walmart at some point of their lives. It's nothing special and often overlooked. This Walmart is near Ala Moana Center which is convenient for tourists and residents in town. The parking lot can be a mess and some stalls are wider than others. They did invest into charging stations with a 3 hour maximum time limit for customers only. Hopefully that will open up soon. This Walmart offers all your typical items but also a "grocery" section too which is nice for all those people shopping for groceries at Walmart. Their rotating holiday section is always popular and the Hawai'i section is great for those looking for gifts to take with them back home or to visit friends/family. The reason why I decided to review them is because I recently had to get Passport photos taken. It is required for the IDP I applied for and I didn't want to pay a lot at AAA. Last time I needed them, I did it at Walgreens but they are no longer here. Previous time before Walgreens was done in Chinatown but with crime rate up and all the homeless people there, I didn't want to risk it just for Passport photos. Parking in Chinatown around the spot for Passport photos is also an issue. I called Walmart to confirm they did it and they do in the electronics section of the store. It's in the back of the store for those not familiar. I stood in line at the register in electronics and the Walmart associate was helpful when it was my turn. He advised me to sit on the stool next to the register in front of a white backdrop. I did as instructed and he took two quick photos. He showed them to me and I approved. The associate told me to come back in 30 minutes and it'll be ready. I went to check out Sam's Club and came back in 20 minutes. His coworker recognized me from earlier and got my photos then took payment as the original associate was helping another customer. This was a quick and very positive experience! The photos were only $8 for two so that was very inexpensive. Good spot for Passport photos in a rush.

Quality/Quantity - This is where we usually do some of our gift shopping. But I ended up buying myself a new really cool dry fit Tommy Bahama style University of HI shirt! I'm sure my wife also got herself a few items. Anyways, back to gift shopping. The friends we are visiting in AU and NZ deserve much better gifts than from Walmart (or Costco); see other Yelp reviews. So we actually did not buy any gifts from here on this trip. Atmosphere - It's a Walmart, consistent. Not in a good or bad way. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. Service - Self service, so good. Price - Inexpensive, I do not even check prices with this brand. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, the world's largest company by revenue, $548+ billion. 12+ stores in HI, 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California.

I do have a love hate relationship with Walmart... I need to choose my time here wisely I assume because when they're busy or during holiday season it can be a stressful experience and this is probably why I do choose to shop here as a last resort. The most convenient but not my favorite location the parking here is quite massive though when the cars before you ware waiting you there for support as well so I don't usually park on the ground level and if I'm not in the mood will go straight to the upper levels. I do admit using the app does make it much more convenient as you can check item availability so you don't waste much shopping time and experience and even tells you where it's located and I did just that and was disappointed with the item and decided not to purchase that though did remember another item I was gonna surprise mom with and checked they still had it and found it very easily. It's a portable DVD player as the one I got I actually won it online and was free it worked great for years but the tv had broken so we still have it but just wasn't up to connecting it with our current cable situation which made her quite sad and thought this portable will still give her all that she wants and at her convenience and super easy to operate. So this in general was a love/hate shopping lol but all mostly love and I do appreciated Walmart for dealing with this moody shopaholic. Thank you!

Walmart is a great store to buy groceries at a much cheaper price than many supermarkets! Vegetables such as potatoes, onions, yams, carrots, etc. Pillsbury biscuits, cheese, saimin are items you can find cheaper! Even name brands of packaged gravy mixes: Turkey, Au jus, Brown, Chicken, etc. I always check out the Clearance section too!

This Walmart has one of the better L&L restaurants in it. The plate luncheon provide enough for for two skinny buggers or one big kanak!

I would just drive to the Ala Moana location because it's not too far, plus it's a good excuse to stop by Mari's Urban Garden haha. Free parking in the structure (ask the pharmacist to validate for you) and the service is always friendly, quick, and helpful. I was glad to find 5 Minute Pharmacy and have been very satisfied with their service, especially as someone that takes various controlled medications and has a generally more complicated process with refills and prior authorizations.

As my car is not feeling the greatest I needed a location that was closest to the Queens Island Urgent Care in Kaka'ako to pick up a prescription and since this was right down the street I keep the stress level down for myself as well. With this being the newly opened location it's very nice and clean and not as crazy crowded like the malls is nice and with basically no lines it was an easy pick up and the staff is very nice and friendly as I arrived basically right after my check up knowing it wouldn't be ready that fast was actually being worked on which is so nice as having them will give me great comfort and that's I'm so grateful. My child is medically fragile and relies on enteral formula, syringes, extension sets, and a G-tube device for daily survival. These are not items that can be purchased at a store, and timely, predictable delivery is medically necessary. On multiple occasions, scheduled deliveries were either missed or significantly delayed without any communication from the company. In the most recent incident, a delivery requiring a signature was scheduled within an 8 a.m.-5 p.m. window. A caregiver stayed home all day, yet no delivery occurred and no call was made to notify us of the delay. The delivery ultimately arrived close to 11 p.m., which created safety concerns for both the driver and our household and disrupted a medically fragile child who is seizure-prone. While we were relieved that the supplies were eventually delivered, the lack of communication, follow-up, and explanation was concerning. When deliveries involve life-sustaining nutrition or medical devices, "eventually delivered" is not sufficient. Late-night deliveries, missed windows, and absent courtesy calls pose real risks--especially for families caring for children with special needs, elderly patients, or individuals dependent on oxygen or other medical equipment. Over the years, there have also been recurring issues with inaccurate patient information, lack of follow-up on backordered items despite promised callbacks, and inconsistent communication from both office staff and delivery services. I want to be clear that my intent in sharing this is not to single out individual employees, but to highlight systemic issues that I hope leadership will address. Improved communication, accurate patient records, proactive notifications about delays or backorders, and clear delivery time boundaries would significantly improve safety and trust for patients and caregivers. I am sharing this so other families and caregivers are aware, and in hopes that PharmaCare will continue working toward the level of reliability that medically dependent patients truly need and deserve.
