I have never written a review, but I'm just so livid after today's experience I just need to vent. I am not fond of Wal-Mart, for many reasons. Mainly the staff, and the many rude shoppers. Seeing how this one was in a nicer part of town, I expected to have a good experience. Boy was I wrong. This place might as well be like the Wal-Mart located on Kings Canyon. The only one who acknowledged us was the greeter when we walked in and the cashier. We needed a desk, a tv stand, and a filing cabinet. Tell me why ten employees, yes TEN employees walked right by us without any eye contact while my sister and I struggled to lift the boxes of furniture into our cart. Two were clearly managers. One just stood their in the electronic isle staring. I said help, gosh darn it. This didn't happen once, but three times! In three different locations. What does HELP mean to these people? These KIDS wearing the stupid uniform going around talking to each other rather than helping customers need to learn a thing or two about working. And the one who did help us didn't even know where the filing cabinets were. She just gave us a very general area, and my sister and I still had to go around looking for it. If we hadn't driven all that way and if we hadn't struggled so hard to get all three boxes of furniture into the carts on our own, best believe I would have walked out after I unloaded everything and placed them on the floor of Wal-Mart in the most random of places. Thank you to the pregnant cashier who stepped away from the register and asked us if we needed help as I tried to transfer one box into another cart while the two other workers stood there chatting away. One clearly hiding behind boxes and the other not even greeting people as they enter. I wish I had gotten all of their names. I remember their faces though. I can't stand people getting paid to do absolutely nothing. Shout out to Target where we went afterwards and Office Depot where we went before coming to this overcrowded poop hole. I'm always Target over WalMart, but this is a Supercenter and have more stuff. For pricing, I have a Target credit card and get 5% off, so I'm better off at Target. I went during the Black Friday craze last Friday and comparing the two, Target seemed to have it together since this one's a big mess and not because it's Black Friday. People don't know where things are and it seems out of order at times, but it's also a big place anyhow. I like this Walmart's grocery side and large selection of items, but, again, I'd rather go elsewhere if I could, especially Target. read more

Giving 4 stars just because their customer service is bad...waited in line for at least an hour just to find out that they won't be able to exchange the item I have to the one I wanted just because it has a different design in the box even though it's the same item. Regardless about this incident, this is so far the most organized and cleanest Walmart I've been...and the biggest also. They pretty much have everything that you need here...kinda like one stop shop. From groceries up to outdoor stuff. They have nice and knowledgable staffs. Parking is not a problem since they have a big parking space for everyone. 24 hrs it is that at any time I need anything...this is the place to go. I used to not shop at Walmart but since we moved here in Fresno...this is the place to go groceries and a bit shopping. Thanks Walmart...but gotta work on you Customer Service Area!!! read more

Usually a great store and I appreciate all the efforts you implemented regarding COVID-19. Unfortunately you are lacking like so many not caring if people enter without masks. I have to be honest. I hate Wal-Mart. Well, I want to hate Wal-Mart. I know that this location won't stay as pristine forever (there's a reason why "people of Wal-Mart" is a thing). But, until then, this one's pretty awesome. What I like... Way better parking situation than the closest Target. Amazing selection of food. Probably our go-to grocery store now. Ample space for carts (not usually a Wal-Mart thing). Self check-out. Yeah, I actually like this Wal-Mart. What I don't like... Much nicer and cleaner than some of the other walmarts I've been to in the past. Although not quite as nice as the Supercenter they have down in Hanford, it's still pretty good. It's a little hard to navigate around the store, I wish they would print up maps (they did that when they opened the Hanford one) so I've been having kind of a hard time finding everything that I am looking for but hey, I suppose I'll get used to it. read more

This Walmart was the bomb, mind you it's still Walmart but it almost felt like a Costco being in there. The ceilings are high and the floors are concrete so it has a much nicer feel. They also have a full on grocery section which I probably wouldn't shop at but it's nice to know that it's there. All in all I would say for a Walmart this is one of the nicer ones. They also have so many checkout lanes that you don't have to wait. read more

Walmart is Walmart but this one is actually really clean and have a million workers that for the most part are pretty friendly. I still choose target any day of the week but this Walmart isn't even close to the one on Shaw. It's much cleaner and nicer read more

Incredibly friendly people helped me today. Like so many times the store was crowded and customer seemed frantic and little edgy but the three Associates that help me couldn't have been nicer and more friendly. One stood out his name is Daniel working in the laundry soap area and he was busy but always stop to help people especially helping me find fabric dye. It just impressed me today. The customers were grumpy and the associates were happy. I really appreciated that. read more

Worst customer service ever. This store will flat-out lie to you and give you the runaround. I went in over a month ago to get a carton of cigarettes. They were out of my brand. Was told that they should get a delivery the next day. Went back the next day, no deliveries were made. Over a month later and they still haven't restocked my brand (Marlboro). When I complained to a manager, I was told that the vendor (Marlboro) was responsible for restocking. I contacted Marlboro and was told that the retailer is responsible for ordering and restocking. Went back to the store, where they reiterated that they are not responsible for restocking. I then spoke to the store manager. He told me that a third-party vendor is responsible for restocking the cigarettes, called Comax. Tried to get their contact info but they refused to give it to me. Tried to find that distributor on the Internet with no luck. No one at the store was willing to take responsibility for their failure to restock, blaming it first on Marlboro, then blaming their third-party vendor. Why couldn't someone call that vendor to find out why they haven't restocked? read more

This is a nice clean store. I shop here a lot. It is a typical Walmart, but a little bit cleaner than normal and I really appreciate that. Really has nothing to do with the company, it is just nicer cause of the neighborhood. I like Walmarts fair prices and think that they are a decent company for not overcharging on most products. read more

Sienna is literally the slowest cashier I have ever had in my life. When I got in line there were only two people in front of me and I was waiting for a least 30 mins. Pretty sure all my groceries went bad while I was waiting. After she gave me my receipt there was still a long line and she was leaning over with her elbows on the checkout taking a break...I just can't. read more

Did on-line pick up order. Went to store, they were very unresponsive. Waited 20 minutes while they called a "manager". I decided to do the rest of my shopping and go back after checkout. STILL no one to help at the pick-up area. Four Walmart associates standing around talking. I again asked for a manager. Again, no help. They could not have cared less. I left without my order. Awesome location but AWFUL customer service availability!!!! Prices are ok since they are Walmart but there are ALOT of things I can buy at a better quality store for cheaper!!! Then there are never workers when u need them and when called takes forever n by time they get there I have answered my own question. Groceries and meats are as expensive as goin to Vons and bulk frozen foods are even cheaper at Costco They just began having bamboo pillows and SAMs club has them even cheaper!!! read more

Horrible service they say there return center closes at 11pm on the phone and you get there and it's closed .Its 10pm ! And you also will be lied to and told that you do not get a receipt for cash transactions? The level of professionalism in this place is ridiculous. Checked out around 11:45pm to purchased a Fulton for my apartment. Without thinking I drove my sedan and I can not fit a Fulton into my car so I asked to do a refund. The lady Maria is so rude! I can tell she was irritated with whatever was bothering her before that, but as a paying customer I think this lady should be more aware of her body language and stop Huffing and saying "ugh" just cause I asked for a refund! Lady do your job correctly since you're still on the clock! I rather have someone with a positive attitude to help me especially at this Walmart regardless it 1 min till closing! read more

I want to thank Walmart for reminding me of how much I love going to Target. I have been to this location twice and both times I have left my items and walked out since customer service doesn't exist here. The first visit I made was last year and I needed assistance getting something heavy into my car. The cashier called for assistance over the intercom and I proceeded to wait for 15 minutes. During that time, I witnessed two managers and five associates walk past me laughing and joking around. I decided to go to the customer service center and return my items for a refund. The second visit I made was today and I needed assistance in paint. There were two other people in the paint area waiting for someone to assist them and we all asked for assistance, but kept getting told, "He's coming." "He" never showed up and I waited for 30 minutes. I left my cart and walked out. So thank you Walmart, I'm sure Target and Home Depot appreciate my business more than you do. They always have great customer service. read more

I visit this store atleast once a week to make purchases for my family. The employees are typically helpful and upbeat. Today I visited the beauty section where I found an employee named Sadie who was very rude and disrespectful. I tried to get her attention several times and she seemed to intentionally ignore me while she spoke to another employee about personal matters. I left and came back and I was finally able to get her attention when she then acted very annoyed to be helping me. I tried not to be bothered by it but when I asked her simple questions regarding about what I was looking for she was short and spoke over me with condescending answers. I couldn't believe someone could possibly treat a customer this way. I was very polite to Sadie so I am not sure where the attitude came from. As a paying customer I should not be made to feel uncomfortable just because I simply asked for assistance. I can easily take my business elsewhere so it is important to keep in mind that with out paying customers employees would not have a job. read more

While the choices are usually there, this store is always empty. No deli meat, no vegatables..seems like every shelf had only 10% of choices to purchase. Bigger then they can handle or very poor purchasing management. I would recommend vons or savemart right down the street. They may be a little more but they will at least have food to choose from. We came to this store and wanted to purchase a dog kennel that online was 49.95 when we got to the store the price for the same kennel was 80.00 the price match guarantee was not guaranteed at all after speaking to the customer service Manager Joseph he was really rude and did not honor the price match, for being a customer service manager he really gave bad customer service and we walked out empty. Let me start with I created this to leave this comment. You have a gentleman working for yall ss a greeter. I can't remember his name but I can assume you know who im speaking of. This gentleman is always in the absolute best mood ever. Chipper as can be. I mention something about him being awesome every time my wife and I go in. He makes my walmart trips a positive experience. As many know walmart trips can be stressful at best. And this guy honestly makes me look forward to going. I went to process a return today and Maria was the CSR that helped me out. The system went down and before she knew it the line was about 10 customers deep. She was apologetic and working extra hard to help out not only me but the other CSR that was trying to return a power wheels without a receipt. Maria had a great idea about how to return it to help the customer and was shot down by a manager. The manager was a transgender and had way to tight of pants on that revealed a certain area that is completely inappropriate for customers and co-workers to have to witness. I do not discriminate against transgenders but her pants were completely inappropriate and something HR should speak to her about. The manager also requested for a backup cashier when she should have been the one to jump on a till. Back to my review of Maria, she was able to process my return with store credit. read more

Well... Just like the other Walmarts in town, it's gone totally downhill. They are constantly out of stock on the routine items I buy. Shelves are often empty and the do not restock or reorder often enough. Even their non grocery items take months before they are restocked. I started shopping at the Walmart market on Shaw and Fowler. So far, it's a bit better, but we shall see. I have waited several months to see this store get with it again, and I doubt it will ever happen. They're losing my business, and I can't be the only one. :( read more

If i could give no stars i would. I went shopping for men's fragrances but they have it locked. I walked around for 5 minutes looking for an associate. Did not find one. Went around again, found one, and asked if anyone could help. They said "we'll find you someone with a key" okay.. so i waited 10 minutes. Asked another associate and they said the same thing. I waited 30 minutes for an associate. They never came. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Never going back again. This isn't the first time I've had terrible service there. Don't waste your time . read more

My son purchased a crock pot for me for Christmas last year. One of the pots broke (defect) the entire bottom fell out. I tossed the broken glass and the food in it and 3 months later found the booklet with the service number. I called and explained what happened (and that the broken piece was tossed. No problem, they would issue a notice for replacement, but they needed a number off the machine that I didn't have as I was calling from the car (handsfree). 30 minutes later I called them with the number, and the new person says well if you had kept the broken piece we would replace it, but all you can do now is go purchase a new one. I didn't argue, but told her that is not what the last person told me. So I thanked her and hung up. They should have either never said we will replace it, or back up their promise to replace it. But changing their mind was not nice. You are customer service, this is what you do. You should know what your policy is, and if you don't you should back up your statements as good customer service. Thank you and I will purchase another one, at Target or Costco. They would have replaced it. I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do, but all you can do now is get a new customer.
