I want to thank the gentleman at the counter. He was really nice. He also mentioned he use to work at round table years ago. And even suggested ranch with pesto as a dipping sauce. I was debating between the cheese and Margherita and I was hesitant and he recommended me trying one slice of the Margherita I believe the cost is $1.98 for the slice. He mentioned he really liked the Margherita. Once I had a bite I said give me the whole pizza lol The crust/dough is thin but I like it this way because you can really taste the pesto and the cheese and diced tomatoes. The pesto isn't super overpowering. The pizza takes about 5 minutes to make and it's worth it to me. For a good $7.98. The kitchen is visible and looks pretty clean. Y'all alcohol buying policy is wack. I went in with my husband and cousin while doing some grocery and they grabbed an alcohol and 2 case of beers... never have we heard a policy of all parties must show their ID's just to purchase the alcohol.... As a customer of 25 years, since the first store opened in Boise, Idaho. I have never had anything to complain about. However in Clovis, CA at Ashland and Peach that absolutely changed. Today going through the self serve lane I had the service person refuse to help me. She called the Manager and after trying to get help, he came over and just kept asking about 15 items. There was no sign for 15 max items. I even asked where is such a sign, he said at the entrance. There wasn't. Regardless, I've never had anyone have a problem with resetting after having more than 4 items in the self scan. I said I can go, and he said to "fuck off." So, I did. It was my mistake I didn't get their names. Afternoon 2/3/25. I could of been done and gone, but they wanted be right, rather than helpful. I am disabled in my back and try to prevent leaning over as much as I can. So I only take things from the basket, scan, and then put them back in the cart. Since it is also California, I don't use bags. read more

I absolutely love this store even more so now that they have Lemon Pop Tarts! It had been a few years since I made a visit here. (my work was nearby) The prices are very competitive and you can find most anything you might need, also the sales are spontaneous enough to keep you guessing. I have found that the veggies and fruits are vast and of good quality and the protein section is large enough to use your culinary imagination. On this particular visit a fellow Yelper (Angie) was also visiting this store and I'm so glad she called out my name to say hello! (These masks suck!) For the best deals in town, Winco is where it's at. Prices are outstandingly cheaper than competing grocery stores, and they even have displays all throughout the store, showing you just how much cheaper they are than the competitor. Their bulk section will always be my favorite part of the store. They have so many different spices, grains, candy, snacks, etc. that they sell by the pound, and they're at a really good price. In the bulk section, they also carry pet goods, and they supply food to almost every pet group. We were shocked to find they carry guinea pig food, so they're now our go-to for our piggies' food! My second favorite section of the store is their cold prepared foods/deli/sushi. They have so many things to choose from, at a great price, and good portions. I've taken home so many things from the cold prepared foods section to bake myself and love it every time. I've recently found out that in one of the beer fridges off to the side of the deli meats/hot dogs/bacon, has Cole prepared take and bake calzones! We took an Italian one home (pictured) and loved it, it was HUGE and tasty! After we're done shopping, we love to stop by the pizzeria and grab a meal deal or two. The pizza is delish. Winco is always consistent. I usually go for specific items, like their bulk buys. Which right now are placed in individual serving containers, very smart pandemic move. (See Pictures) I will also buy ribs, chicken, and other meats here. Also great prices on the "middle aisle" items, so I usually get baking items, cereal, bubly waters etc. Alcohol can also be cheaper here too, but not beer. I don't usually buy veggies and fruits here, but sometimes you can get solid quality for a good price. Lines can get long, and staff can be little less than friendly sometimes, but I find that if you try to engage them in conversation at the check out, they will chit chat and smile with you. The dude and I come to Winco weekly. Well at least once a week. I always feel like their food prices are the cheapest in the Valley! Each time I have came in the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The store is always clean and they always have fresh produce displayed. The dude and I usually come in for one or two things and we leave with a basket full of items! I never left just getting stuff on my list I always walk out with something! They have a great selection of products. My favorite sections are the produce, frozen dinner, ice cream and dairy sections. I seriously love ALL the varieties of ice cream and how cheap it is. The dude and I bought a salmon here and it was fresh and so good!! The catch is that Winco only accepts cash, debit or checks. No credit cards at all. My favorite place to shop to buy my groceries. I absolutely love WinCo Foods and has become my main store to do my grocery shopping. They have some of the lowest prices in town as well constantly price matching and comparing to stay ahead of there competition. The store is put together in a convenient format and also have bulk foods, bulk pet foods, Fresh grounded peanut butter and coffee, a full service meat and seafood butcher, and so much more they have almost everything you need for your home and all at a fair price. They also have a pizzeria located in the front near the registers that serves hot, fresh pizza. This WinCo Foods is also a 24/7 location so you can come day or night which makes it convenient. The staff here can be pretty hit or miss. Some of them are very nice and are ready to assist you with anything while, some on the other hand have much to improve when it comes to customer relations. Parking can be a bit of pain too as it seems to always be full parking lot but I find the best time to come is in the morning to ensure good parking. Overall this store is great for feeding the family all at a price that won't break the bank and I look forward to the next time I can come here. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I will! I went to get a few things for my family late night because I needed it and they turned me down because they didn't accept Apple Pay or credit card. I really recommend this store for a few reasons. I know sign language. I went through the store a few times acting like I didn't speak. I was helped throughout the store by every employee. No they didn't sign , but they patiently walked me to the item I needed. Not every store does that. Secondly you can go to the bulk area and measure out just what you need. Went into WinCo to try their Grinder sandiwches that came highly suggested by my coworker (BARAONA!!). Purchased a chicken club grinder and a steak philly grinder. At first I was excited and suprised by the weight of the sandwich when handed to me. But upon tasting the sandwich I was SEVERELY UNIMPRESSED by the lack of flavor of the bread and the sandwich in general. The steak philly wqas nothing less than a flavorless pepper steak sandwich. I have to give Winco a standing ovation for how they have handled this Coronavirus crisis and all the shoppers. At first, it was a mess, but Winco got it together and are very commendable on how they are handling preventing the spread of this virus. Before you go in, they have tape that are marked a few feet apart so that you won't be to close to the other person. They are only allowing people in at a time as other people leave. They also do not allow you to bring carts from outside and give you already bleached and sanitized carts in the store. I've needed to sanitize my hands a few times which they don't mind allowing me to. They are also very strict on limiting items. My husband and I live very close so we were always here anyway, but how they are handling everything should be how every store should handle customers. I really am torn trying to pick 4 or 3 stars. If I could have picked a 3.5 rating I would have. Decided to go with a 4 just so I'm not underrating. I love the prices. If it wasn't for that I would not shop here. I am able to find most of the items I need but usually end up at another store picking up the things they don't carry. I am disabled which makes shopping here hard on me. It's such a big store. Not blaming the store for its size. Just saying that having to bag my items is rough on me. By the time I've filled my basket and waiting at the check stand I'm really hurting. I get nervous I'll be holding people up. It's a good idea to shop with a friend or partner when possible but sometimes it's just not. I wish Winco offered bagging for an additional fee. Maybe one or two stations offering that option. I'd pay the fee in a heartbeat. I also don't like that most of the employees don't seem like they enjoy working here. Rarely have employees greeted me with a hello, can I help, did you find everything okay, you or even a smile. I don't think lower prices should also mean poor customer service. Really really appreciate it when I get a nice cashier. It's not often. I will say when I have to walk all over the store to find an employee when I need help finding something they have been helpful and nice. In general the staff just seems very unhappy. At thanksgiving time my items were about rung up and I noticed a tiny sign off in the distance saying when you spend this amount of money you get a free turkey. I thought is was kind of odd that the cashier didn't mentioned this to us. Glad I saw the sign. lol. Does self bagging mean self everything? Yesterday I went shopping in the morning. I wanted to purchase fish from the seafood area. It was being set up for the day. Seafood in bags on a cart being put on ice in the display. I was hoping maybe I would still be able to purchase some. Wasn't sure. Stood at the counter. Tried to flag someone down and ask. No one would even make eye contact with me. I waited awhile but gave up. Purchased fish at another store. When I was selecting produce a worker was using a blower to clean debris off the floor and blew stuff on me from the next isle. Lol! Please train employees on customer service. Offer rewards to them for positive feedback from patrons maybe? Something. When I shop at Savemart every one is so attentive and friendly. I have never passed an employee without being given a greeting or smile at the very least. It's nice. Lower prices should not mean common courtesy should be eliminated.
