Minutes later, an alarm went off and my son and I hightailed it to the now opened exit... no one to be found. Employees showed up soon after. They didn't seem concerned. Sorry, I digress. This place is like most Costcos. I do agree with other reviewers that they have some rude employees. I haven't experienced this at other locations. Recently, I asked an employee if they could price check an item that was near him on a pallet. He said he could, but he would have to stop and find someone with a device. He recommended taking it up front!!! I found a manager who apologized and said he was new and that shouldn't happen. I would think if the employee was new, customer service training would be fresh on his mind...

I tried to use her membership card to quickly pick up some food essentials for her so she could eat, and the experience was humiliating. Instead of showing a shred of basic human empathy or understanding of an emergency situation, the cashier whose name was Elaina was extremely rude, condescending, and hostile. She took my grandmother's card right out of my hands and flat-out refused to let me complete the purchase, leaving us stranded without the food we desperately needed. Costco is supposed to pride itself on customer care, but this was heartless. To treat someone running errands for a critically ill family member this way is unacceptable. I will be escalating this to corporate.

Review #1,112 Posted on 9.16.26…read more We came to Costco while in Visalia on Saturday the 12th after my daughter's league soccer game. We got some grub from the food court and looked around a bit. This location had an extended back side here, kind of cool, different from how they seem to build new ones. The food court went smooth except the time it took for chicken strips to be ready which was a bit surprising. To give them benefit of the doubt, they probably don't want these strips just sitting under the heat lamps, but at around 12-1 pm, you'd think there's plenty of food ready to go for the steady flow of people. All in all a good & smoothly ran Costco though.

If you're trying to save on gas, just get a gas card they knocked $.30-$.50 off per gallon depending on which gas card you get . Meat prices are always outrageous. Some employees move like they have been touched in the head.

I took it home and put it on my compressor wired as they had told me. It didn't work. I took it back (installed on the compressor) and told them it didn't work. They didn't want to look at it at first, but then had a guy look at it. He told me I needed either a new coil for the contactor, a transformer, or had to run a separate 120 volt line. I went back home thinking this was not right. I then called Associated Compressor & Equip. Co. They said bring it down and they would look at it. They took a look at it, changed a couple of wires and it worked fine. They didn't even want to charge me. Because of this I will NEVER go back to Electric Motor Shop. They obviously did not know how to wire this. They should have told me they didn't know how to do it. On top of that Electric Motor Shop charged me another $136! If I could give them negative stars, I would! I know EMS has a high rating, but in this case I feel totally screwed!
