I purchased a Hugo Boss polo which was not cheap at 118.00 before the 30% discount . The polo was wrinkled, so the employee grudgingly ironed it. He then put it in a tiny cologne bag because he did not have any bags in his section. I would have thought a large bag or even better hanging it with a bag. When I got home it was horribly wrinkled. I had to return it. This Macy's has gone down so bad. All the sales people care about is sales. If you say no thank you they blow you off. Some job! Everyone is so narcissistic. Particularly in the fragrance section. So much competition. So phony. They stand there for hours hoping to sell their overpriced cologne. read more

I recently went to Macy's at Fashion fare, and once again dissappointed. It's just not the "high end" Department store it use to be. Store merchandise has declined in quality as well as the employees, not seeming to care about their customers. The mens department did a great job ! It ended there, with no more alterations available, down, down, down you go ! Most of the clothing is made ina, Vietnam, shrilanka, India, ther's no quality, just a designer name. Most washing instructions are not there anymore and some have "No English translation, excuse me?? Sloppy, on the fashion world. This is making little boutiques very attractive. read more

3/26/22: Today is a terrible day for consumers. We were waiting for assistance in the make up area and don't find fault in nobody coming to assist. We then went to the front where their team was trying to shove samples down your throat, asked for assistance matching makeup, followed the person willing to assist, and then informed us that the girl was on lunch and that NOBODY could help us for another hour. My wife asked how is it possible that they have no help in a major department and she suggested to go to the Clinique department, but we would've had to buy their products. This was ridiculous. There were a large number of employees front and center. None with any actual skills but being Wal-Mart greeters. (No offense to wall mart greeters, they actually do have skills to assist their patrons!) Disappointed! But at least it's starting to match the shady neighborhood it's located in. read more

came here to check out their handbag selection & wow. so disappointing. felt like i was shopping at mervyn's in the 1980's as a child. the aesthetics were off. sparse stock & selection. they had a locked coach slg case with RALPH LAUREN wallets inside of them, what?? whoever is in charge of the floor display isn't doing a good job selling their merch. there were no sales associates to help in this department in the 10 minutes i was browsing. when i finally saw a sales associate towards the end, she had her back turned dusting the bag shelves. shouldn't you be doing this before the store opens, not in front of customers kicking up dust everywhere?? the only positive from this waste of gas & time trip was as i was walking towards the bag section, i had to walk through the beauty dept & was happy to see how organized, clean & seemingly well stocked it was. at a glance. there were also several sales associates near their counters, unlike the handbag section. here is a list of handbags they carry to save you a trip in gas & time: 1. I wanted to give a shout out to Yolanda from Macy's for Men. I had a last minute invitation to a wedding and had absolutely nothing to wear, so I had to buy some new gear. Miss Yolanda provided the best customer service experience ever! She took the time out to do my measurements, locate a matching jacket and pants suit, and 3 ties that match the suit perfectly. Yolanda also let me know about the discounts, an upcoming sale and how to maximize the point system for being a Macy's Card member. I found the prices and clothing and overall customer service to be stellar at Macy's for Men. I received so many compliments about the suit ensemble that I was rocking at the wedding. I had to return shoes that I purchased at this store. I wore them and was in complete pain it was like the threading on the straps were digging into my feet horribly. They were calvin klein and unfortunately i was not in a place to where I could take them off and put on sandals . So I had to suffer and sit as much as I could. Well during my return the manager Pho said she couldnt Return them because they were used. I explain to her the issue I've never returned used shoes before and I'm a platinum member. Is there a courtesy involved or is there something that I can do i.e., exchang them for another pair of shoes that I am more familiar with, but she offered me no other option. She said I would have to contact Calvin Klein. Whaaat?! I was like I paid over $100.00 full price and I cant even wear them. I asked Can you call customer service using ur phones? . She said she wouldn't call them I would have to call on my phone. Anyway the director Deshaun came out and looked at the shoes and was like yeah we will not return these it's against our policy. Cut and dry and no assistance. ( mind u theres no policy written in the store or on the receipts that states you cant return them if they're used) "I was told its at the stores discretion." So they could actually return them and take a loss. Really I spend waaay too much at macys in both Fresno locations. Anyway I called customer service directly and they handled me professionally and I feel that I was valued as a customer and as a platinum member. I think the staff at Fresno's Fashion Fair location needs to do a better job of assisting in satisfying their customers.. If they stated ma'am, we do not return shoes that are used however, I have a phone here and we can call customer service. Let them know what happened and let's see what they can do for you. We are here to assist you. If they said something of that nature would have shown concern and compassion... But just to blow me off and just say oh we can't do it and not trying to help me is very unprofessional. read more

Macys is a big space filled with ample amount of selections from home goods, clothing, shoes, cosmetics and lingerie. I only purchase my perfume sets from here- you get more bang for your buck! Some of the fragrance sets I've purchased and love: Chanel Chance eau Fraîche and eau Tendre, Versace Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond, Prada Candy, Carolina Herrera good girl, Dolce by Dolce & Gabana and Gucci Flora. They consistently offer 15% off cosmetic and fragrance so keep your eyes peeled for those promotions to save money! Additionally, they have revamped the cosmetics area and it too looks like Sephora. There is also a Benefit brow bar like the one at ULTA. Macy's is keeping up with the times and catering to various demographic markets. I dig it. My only gripe is they moved Macy's children to the upstairs women's boutique area. The last thing I want is to hear screaming kids running around when I'm doing my retail therapy... Anyway, be sure to check out the "Last Act"section. It's a picked over mess designed with thrift store styled racks so you gotta dig for the gold! I have found a North face jacket for $15 and Joes Jeans for $28 etc...Nothing makes me and my wallet happier than to be stylish on a budget. Now that money I saved can go to my one true love! (Food). Went to RiverPark store trying to find Ca. King sheets for our son, apparently none available locally. Asked first person I could find, luckily it was Kayla! She went above & beyond to find me exactly what I wanted online & facilitated the process to get them ordered. They arrived yesterday, better than expected, great price & quality. She was busy taking care of staff breaks but gave me her full attention, she deserves special recognition. read more

Last night I was placing an order online at Macy's. As I was placing the order, about 11:30 p.m., the price changed on at least one item. The sale was supposed to be until midnight. I then tried to contact Macy's and could not, after considerable effort, reach any live person. Today, I am on hold after having to yell into the phone that I need a live person. Macy's has apparently switched over to RS (Real Stupidity) by trying to institute AI to save money. This is the LAST TIME I will shop at Macy's. Riverpark is horrendous. After months of tolerating, they are finally trying to work at getting it up to par. I don't know what was going on, but the 2nd floor was worse then a bazaar. Nothing was organized, stacks of clothing stacked on end / corridor displays. Forget @ looking for another size in an item that you liked. The clerk there was very helpful in trying to help. We eventually left frustrated. I was so so dissappointed. Went to Fig Garden...better. It would help to fine tune. A betyer marketing schematic would boost sales. They didn't have the size we needed for a suit jacket so we had asked if ordering online would take no more then 5 days, the cashier told me it would take a max of only 6 days! Just a HUGE selection of men's clothes with unmatched variety in the area. Nicely displayed in an upbeat, upscale environment. Even the speakers pumping out the loud music are decent and not crackling. They carry as large selection of Levis and the cologne department is the best in the business. After my 30 year old bottle of Infinity runs out, I'll get more from here... Prices are sometimes really good and you're a universe away from a 'Ross-like' experience here. Were Macy's to better dress their parking lot entrances, change out the rundown mats and remove years of melting bubble gum from the concrete, I'd plug them another star. I love Macy's. I like it because they have many upscale options as far as clothing goes they have top-of-the-line make up jewelry perfume shoes And Home Decor. If you have a Macy's card there is more discounts via mail or email. They often send brochures in the mail to advertise upcoming sales and promotions. The Macy's app on the phone is the best because you can monitor items that may be going on sale or have a discount especially if you have your eye on something particular. I was able to scan clothes with the app in the store for prices. I like to go in person to Macy's stores because I like to try on the make up the high-quality brands last a long time yes they are pricier but they are worth the value. I trust the Macy's brand because every time I have went there I have been able to find something that is stylish and high class. They are always in stock with modern selections everything from men and children to women's Macy's which are two separate stores in the fashion fair Mall. read more

I love shopping at Macy's. They have always have everything your looking for. I did a lot of shopping on line during the Pandemic. I found some great prices and deals. I bought so many thing for all my friends and Family so when The Pandemic ended enough that we were able to see each other and be around each other...we had a great big Party and Christmas and Birthday Party for everyone. It took us all day, everyone made tone of food and desserts. We just spent the day exchanging gifts for Birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day Father's Day ect. what a beautiful day that was... The shoe department at Macy's looked terrific as I walked through a few days ago. Lots of selection, as usual, and even some helpful service. As I went through various departments, I was pleased to see a neat and tidy store with what appeared to be a good selection of items. I was asked to pick up a woman's sweater from the Charter Club area on the second floor at the Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno. The store was full of employees enjoying the holiday spirit and early crowd. As I looked around to find where these sweaters were at, a employee stopped to ask if I needed assistance. She helped me find the particular color, size, and personally checked other stores to check on inventory if I chose to select a size that wasn't available at this location. This was a great experience I have never had at a Macy's. I am really fortunate she decided to ask if I needed help when she had other errands to perform. I love to shop online at Macy's. There are great styles and quality choices. I actually prefer to shop online instead of physically going to Fashion Fair. I buy different merchandise for me, others or my home. My problem with Macy's is the amount of time it takes to get your order. If you are buying a special gift, beware that it may take weeks to get it. Make sure you allow enough time to receive your order. Recently I purchased a Michael Kors sweater. It took at least five weeks to receive it. At the beginning of this month I ordered a sheet set. I received an email yesterday that notified me that I will receive my order on January 6th. This is an inordinate amount of time to wait! Macy's needs to improve the efficiency and speed of their delivery of goods. I know you can do it! read more

I don't like giving the one stars but when you learn that bad boy, BAMM you get a once star cabrones. ( Yes if I could a negative 10, this fine establishment earned that bad boy BAMM). My blue coat jacket shrank somehow in the closet and was, snug?, and I needed one for the next day. Zoomed in here to try and find something not to costly but that would work. Mistake one. It was around 6:00 PM not a lot of people and one attendant for the entire men's suit area, one. I tried on a few and what do you know, the ones in there shrank too, the mystery thickened. Not sure if I looked like I was swimming in the suit or if it made me look skinnier ( ya right) I looked around for help. The ONE clerk had two people and she was moving like a snail headed to a big ol pile of salt, not. I waited about 30 minutes and finally after giving her the "ojo" several times ( she was putting clothes away and not making eye contact) I walked to her. I asked a simple question, what size would fit me and where is a decent suit jacket, with a blank look, literally glazed over, ( not sure what she was on but I wanted some) she pointed at the suits ( half the room) and said, there. She turned and disappeared into the refuge of the storage room never to be seen again and possibly into hibernation. That was it. Didn't come back out and when I looked at one other guy counting suits, he beelined it towards the back like he had an important date with a porcelain throne. Listen, I get it, you're burnt out, you hate your job, you're done. For God's sake quit and find something that makes you happy, don't represent a company and make them a one-star superstar. ADVISE: Go to the Men's Warehouse across the street. Yes, I spent twice what I wanted but I got personal attention and a rush order on the suit to be finished the next day because, you know the other one shrank, they said these things happen. A plus; This actually motivated me to get my A$$ out and run so I don't have to buy new suits because, well you know why. read more

Bike was stolen ( was in the store 15 min.) and I know this is Fresno so everyone gets an excuse because of all the thieves. And cracked out hostile people that live here........but I parked it by macys women's employee entrance on a bike stand locked up. Macy's said it wasn't there problem that mall owned the land and they didnt have anything to do with it and had no cameras. The female Latina was really ride with that Fresno attitude. I just think if there gonna have a flipping bike rack stand then they should watch it more. If you haven't purchased Levis brand Jeans recently, it is a dizzying experience because there are so many styles and colors. The guy who helped me immensely on two occasions is a man named.Gabe. This guy really knows his inventory and he just seems to have the attitude of wanting to help the customer. Because his product knowledge is extensive, it doesn't take him "forever" to get you want you want. And if you want something else or a different style, he'll have it for you quickly. Macy's has a huge presence at Fashion Fair Mall. One store at the opposite end of the mall wasn't enough for them. They had to sprinkle in some stores in the middle and add this store and a Macy's Woman. You almost begin to wonder if the mall is owned by Macy's but we'll save that for another time. Macy's Men and Children is located somewhat centrally in the mall and near the Mac kiosk, restrooms, and the Starbucks. What I don't get it is why they put men and children together? Why not put the children at the Macy's Woman store? Or would that be stereotypical? Or leave them at the regular Macy's store? Maybe men just can't have a store all to their own? Who knows? It just seems odd since the store primarily is all about men everything from their clothing, shoes, underwear, and cologne. Either way, we braved the Black Friday crowd to shop for our Dad and brother. It was stuffy and hot due to the throng of people packed inside. We quickly found what we needed but continued to browse until I just couldn't take it anymore. Luckily enough, the lines moved fast and the staff was good about cleaning up behind careless shoppers so you could find what you needed without having to search a pile on the floor. read more

This is by far the filthiest store I have ever been to. While the fight for consumer dollars is getting tougher and tougher, you would think they would go out of their way to present an inviting and clean store. Their customer service folks need to be screened a bit more. While the do provide jobs, it appears any applicant would be hired quickly. However they should provide the staff more training or training period. It isn't always about just operating a cash register. Macy's, do yourself a favor. Clean up the store, hang up the clothes which litter the floor and train your staff. read more

I normally prefer other high-end store such as Nordstroms or even Neiman Marcus. However as far as the valleys concern this is high end. I always find great deals at this Macy's just because a lot of products or designer name brands go overlooked. It's a great place to go if you're looking for something in the fragrance or makeup department. Most of the girls there are very knowledgeable. The best time to go is when it is a gift day or when its friends and family because that's one of the best coupons they offer! The only major minus I can say that sometimes it is difficult to find help. The girls were working there are sometimes not as knowledgeable about the products the clothes. I miss you person and it is very difficult to find help in the shoe department.
