I shop at this store often and always have a pleasant experience. However today having to deal with a manager and a refund was not as pleasant. The associate i delt with was very nice kind and helpful. The manager questioned why a cash refund was given? Manager, Read the receipt before assuming the why a cash refund was given. And your tone was not very nice toward your associate either. Do better. And perhaps some professional development would be nice. read more

Manager was rude and loud. Shopped there for a long time and today was the first time I needed to return an item that was ordered at the store. The person who offered to help just passed me over to the manager who was very rude and loud and embarrassing just because I had a question and everyone was staring like I was stupid! Your team profiled me. I am a busy mom and I can't spend a lot of time out shopping so I tend to go to boutiques where employees help you shop. My experience with Maurices is you get a little bit of that boutique experience which is why I always come back. I intended to spend no longer than 20-30 minutes at this store, so because of that my husband and child stayed in the car. When I walked in, there were several staff members on the floor, not helping customers, not busy with anything and they clearly avoided making eye contact with me. In my mind I tried to make an excuse for it but I quickly noticed they greeted other customers walking in, told them about the sale going on, and walked with them through the store and helped them shop. I struggled to find the bare minimum of what I was looking for. Nobody offered to get me a fitting room and when I stood by the rooms and tried to get anyone's attention, I was avoided. At that point I had to help myself to a changing room. I still couldn't find what I was looking for and eventually found someone completely different who was busy but willing to provide some help. When I checked out, one of the employees who blew me off was at the register. When I was up next she let another customer in front of me who had randomly walked up and didn't realize where the line was. The employee encouraged the customer to keep shopping and grabbing items to ring in as I still stood there waiting. I felt like my business and my time was disrespected. If your staff members hadn't blown me off and had provided me with decent service, I would have spent several hundred dollars easily but instead I left with two items I'm not even sure I want. I only came to do a pick-up for an online order and they were really nice. Service was great. There weren't items I was interested in at the store as they don't have a maternity section in-store, but I wouldn't mind coming back, everything looks organized and the ladies were all willing to help. read more

Love this store, I can always find a cute outfit in my size. Only downside is that I think regular priced items are overpriced. Fortunately, they often have sales and I can usually find something I like on sale. I wish there was a larger plus size section but it's not a big store and like I said, I can always find something so not that big a deal. Highly recommend Maurice's, especially if you're tall - my daughters and tall co-workers come here for jeans and slacks. Walked into the store, asked an associate for help finding an item. She said "I actually don't know where those are anymore" and proceeded to spin in a circle and walk to the back of the store. I finally found something similar to what I was looking for and asked a DIFFERENT associate for her opinion and got "it depends" and then walked away. Walked out of the fitting room and got the most disgusting up and down from those same associates. Noticed that they were being way friendlier and more helpful with other customers, kind of annoyed but I'll gladly drive to the complete other side of town before going into this location ever again. read more

This place has that rock-in-country vibe that I love about Clovis. Located in the shopping center at Clovis & Herndon near Ulta, you will find not only blinged out jeans and right-on trending shirts and sweaters but a selection of accessories to make even my jaw drop and whip out the ol credit card. They offer a rewards card. Every $10 spent....girls, you know the rest. I bought the sweetest thing. It was a plaid shirt with pearl snaps, some bodacious applications of little extras...I am so happy. Got a hip necklace, fit for my inner queen...I feel like a rock star.....no...I look like a rock star. So I recommend this place. Staff is very good at what they do. I'll probably just do online shopping at this place from now on. I've shopped here couple times before and have had great experiences. One of the employees there was trying to play off the fact that she was following me around the store. How many times do you have to move around clothes in a rack?? Within just a few feet, no matter where I went?? I understand the concept of theft prevention. But This was the first time I ever felt like I was being targeted. I looked around and I didn't see any other employees so close to other customers. I usually would've spent more time trying to look at what they had and get an outfit together but instead decided to just go with the jacket I had on hand, pay, and get out. Sad .... read more

IF YOU DO NOT LIVE NEAR HERE, DO NOT PURCHASE CLOTHING ON-LINE! Or, do NOT use their return shipping label because you will not be able to track the return. They also will give a lame excuse about "tons of distribution centers" and "we need 30 days to process a return" which is all bogus and a ploy to cheat customers out of their money or hold onto it for an unreasonable amount of time. The quality is terrible. Their customer service supervisor Deja, is a joke and lacks any training or problems solving skills. Save yourself the time and headache and shop elsewhere. read more
