Picked up the pillows, it was fast and easy. I also learned that if it fits in the tubs by the register, u can pick it up yourself but since my order was big they had to grab it in the back. While I was waiting I visited the Sephora in there. Absolutely love that they have a Sephora!! Kohls kind of reminds me of a JCPENNEY lowkey. Not a bad thing. Why are exchanges so hard? I could've returned my purchases and paid the difference but apparently they don't have a function key. I understand the worker being new, but the manager (slender woman with brown hair and pony tail) who has the power to override these things sent us to customer service desk alone and very rudely. Thank you for opening your business at 8am. On a Saturday. Drove 4 hours late Friday night to our hotel. As I start to organize the clothes in the closet. To my horror! I realized I left all the families wedding attire at home. ;( So my staying up late research on Yelp began. Target and Kohl's were the only two stores closest to my hotel that opened before 10am. We were there at Kohls 20 minutes after opening, on the mission to dress a family of 6 for a wedding that starts at 11 am. Greeted at the front register by a smiling and cheerful cashier. It's a good thing, we decided to stop here first. My hubby and 3 of my kids 4ys. 13 years . 6years. found something they like. Sadly for me and my 10 year old we had a tougher time, for my 10 year old daughter , her section were scarce , didn't have many in her size. She walked out empty handed. As for me. It was last minute as we walked to the cashier, hubby spotted a lavender lace dress. Thank goodness he have eyes to spot a dress . ( he usually doesn't pay attention). Went in yesterday morning hoping to find some dress pants and a dress shirt for my upcoming wedding, and noticed that the changing rooms were blocked off. I understand Covid measures have really screwed everyone up, but for a clothing store not to have a changing room seems like a stretch, even WITH everything the way it is. I went searching for an associate to see about at least getting measured, and after walking around for about ten minutes, I finally found two associates looking bored standing behind a counter. I asked them if they had a tape measure, and both of them actually laughed right in my face and one told me "Negative." I expressed that I was trying to get fitted for a suit for my wedding, and their attitude was basically "oh well... don't know what to tell ya." One recommended I just buy the suit, take it home to try it on and then drive back if it doesn't fit. Sure... got all the time and gas in the world because you guys can't be bothered to do your job, and again, they both laughed when I asked for help. If this is the kind of customer service that will become the norm after Covid, we're all screwed. I will NEVER return to this Kohl's again. I visit this kohls about 3 times a month and I can honestly say I am displeased with the customer service. When we first entered the Sephora all the staff were very kind. We happened to overhear some staff members on their radios talking about a small group of kids running around (which wasn't us). Later on, we began walking around the store looking for our cousin and my sister who we had lost but the toys section, when we came back to look we found my cousin was simply hiding behind a box. We laughed it off and when we turned around we saw a staff worker with bright red hair yelling at my 9-year-old sister to get away from the suitcases even though she was sitting behind one. We all decided to walk away, as the man kept giving us weird stares until another staff member began to follow me around the store. Me being confused stopped to say hi and ask if she needed something she proceeded to threaten to kick my sister, cousins, and me out of the store and call security even though we were minding our own business. I love taking my returns from Amazon back here. The store is really close to my house and there is rarely a line. I typically take items back for return right after work around 5pm which seems to be the best time. On average I spend 5 minutes in the store unless something catches my eye. They never ask any questions about my return, they take the item, scan my return code on my phone and I'm done. Always easy and no boxes or packaging necessary:) read more

This issue is not directly for the Clovis location but for Online Customer service. I received my first online shipment today with a item missing. I called immediately to report the missing item and the 2 separate customer call associates tell me that I have to wait until my second part of my shipment arrives next week before than can fix my issue. Here's what's important to know.... the packing slip for today shows the missing item on it. Which means making me wait till next week will not solve the issue. It will only further delay the replacement item being ordered. The lady on the phone was rude and told me she was the only supervisor. When I asked for customer cares number she said "due to quality" I can't give it to you. She told me the only thing she could do is just cancel my second items from coming. I have worked in retail for 30 years and never received such poor service. Hopefully someone at the corporate office reads this review and can help. Very disappointed read more

If I could give this store O stars I would the customer service is so bad. The staff is super rude and on a power trip. Especially this girl named Sandra and a guy with colored hair and this guys who was acting like the manager. I later found out he wasn't I think his name was Isaiah or something similar to that I can't remember exactly. That guy literally put his hands on me and trying to push me all because I asked to used the fitting room to try on like 2 sweats that took me like an hour to pick out and I pleaded with them that it was only going to take like 2 mins but they kept saying that there already closed which they weren't. I guess they were only closed for me because later at 9:45 I heard that announcement that fitting rooms were now being closed at 9:45 meaning they were open when I asked to use them. And when I told that to the guy he told me to put the clothes down because he was going to have to take me out of the store and he physically put his hands on me and tried to push me out of the store and he only stopped when I snapped back and told him DONT TOUCH ME. and even then he was physically touching me and then I finally said I wasn't waking next to him and that I'll find my own way out and I walked fast the opposite direction and quickly got out of the store. It was my first time at that store and the selection there was nice too but never going back there ever again. I have never wrote a negative review in my life because I don't get upset easily and I am very understanding but the staff's behavior was totally unacceptable and their on a power trip especially that guy Isaiah or what ever his name is thinking he could put his hands on customers. I will have to get his name tomorrow because I forgot exactly what it was but I am definitely going to talk to Kohl's about this. Making sure guests are taken care of is essential in any successful retail chain. Assisting guests with purchases, answering questions, and listening to guests' needs are all primary functions of the staff. Unfortunately, all of these begin when approaching the consumer. My negative experience stems from three visits to the jewelry section at the Shaw and Clovis location. Previously, I visited the jewelry section before Mother's Day and was not assisted even though two staff members were talking among themselves. It was not a big deal. I thought that they were taking care of something else. After waiting about 15 minutes patiently, I began to think that they were ignoring me. I was clearly standing in front of the counter trying to make eye contact with someone. However, no one seemed to want to help me. So, I left. I decided to make another trip to Kohls to buy a nice necklace for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. I went in, looked at a few things I was interested in, and began my wait. This time, another patron was talking with a single staff member. I waited about 10 minutes until their conversation was over and she came to help me. She began the conversation by stating that she didn't know as much as some of the other workers and that she was going to send someone more knowledgeable over. I had already picked out the one I wanted. I just needed someone to ring it up for me. I waited another 10 minutes, and no one came to the counter. So, I left. I returned the following day, hoping that they would not be as busy and luckily when I arrived the store was relatively slow. I went to the jewelry counter and a guest was speaking with the single attendant working. I was determined to wait as long as it took to get the necklace I wanted. I waited, and waited, and waited until 30 minutes passed by. Eventually, the attendant at the counter broke off her conversation with the guest who was clearly uninterested in buying anything. She turned to help another guest who was nearby and fortunately, that guest told her "[I had] been waiting there for a fairly long time." The staff member, named Martha, then exited the jewelry stand, walked around the counter to me, and asked me what I needed help with. I was clearly standing in front of the jewelry stand looking into the glass for the last 30 minutes. So why am I writing this? Why am I going out of my way to type nearly 600 words about my negative experience? Well, I don't think that I wasn't helped both because the store was busy. I don't think that I wasn't noticed. I think it had to do with my appearance. I am a 24-year-old male. I don't dress like someone who can afford fancy necklaces. To the staff at the jewelry section in Kohls, I am a waste of time. Well, I am not a waste of time. I work hard at two jobs and save my money so I can afford nice things. I think that the staff at Kohls should expect better of themselves. I think Martha, should expect better from herself. The homage 'don't judge a book by its cover' is true. We went shopping as a family For back to school. It is understandable that it is a busy time for all retail stores . However the cashier was not friendly, no smile, no Eye contact, only grabbed and scanned items. I was having trouble navigating through my Kohl's app And asked her if she knew where I could find the coupons. She did not speak only nodded her head no. For my birthday I received several gift cards to Kohl's and decided to cash them in today. I'm not a fan of Kohl's, it's too much "bait & switch" with their Kohl's cash and reward program. Basically they want you continue coming in every 20-30 to purchase and redeem your "Kohl's cash." My mother in law is like a crack head with those vouchers. Frankly I think it'll be a lot easier to simply lower their prices and have better everyday values. Instead, upon checking out they let you know that you saved over $147 dollars, really??? It's APT 9 and Marc Anthony, not the coolest clothing. I can get better looking clothes at TJ Maxx or Marshall's for a fraction of the price. Today I purchased 2 pair of shorts and 2 shirts (one shirt on clearance) total price -$109 dollars. Way over priced!! I could have gotten 4 outfits at TJ Maxx. Anyhow cashier the cashier had no personality and didn't know how to redeem the gift cards. He had to call a manager, when he could have just 10 keyed in the redemption code. Amazing store, and great employees! I have been to the other Kohl's in Fresno, but this one is the best by far. Sometimes have to wait in line longer than expected, but that is no biggie. Clearance selection has amazing prices and Kohl's cash is a good way to get people going back, lol. Once in a while I see thieves trying to steal from this store, but you better watch out! First of all, the shoe department was a complete mess. We had some trouble finding the right size for my husband so we tried looking for help. We found an associate in the men's department to help but she seemed frustrated. She called the guy that is responsible for working in the shoe department to help us however they were both bickering in front of me and my husband. She said, "I don't know how I keep getting pulled to this department" as he responded "that's why I hide so they can just go to customer service." Guess what buddy? As a store associate, you are responsible AND getting paid to provide customer service too! My response to the both of them was "that's not fair to the customers if instead of helping them, you are hiding." Basically, this young lady is hustling while this guy is getting paid for doing nothing and for hiding as he clearly stated. The cashier (finally) called me over and when a pair of pants came up incorrect (same tags, location and size), the price was $20 higher he gave me 15% off. I love this department store. Particularly for the fact that you can get quality clothing for decent prices. I mean, for example let's take shopping at a really known brand verses shopping here. I decided to order two of the same looking outfits over the holidays. And after comparing the two (quality, make, style, etc.), the one I got from here was way better! I had purchased wool tops, the other was from Macy's. I feel items are so overpriced these days, that people just look at the brand name verses the quality. I love clothes shopping at Kohl's, particularly their clearance rack! But I am pretty unhappy at whoever is supposed to stock the pants in the men's section.
