I had not been to Repeat Performance for a few years and it is better than ever! Even if you think you don't like thrifting, just stop in; you will find something, I'm sure. The store is very clean, air conditioned, and with friendly staff. They have expanded since I was last here. I could have browsed for a very long time haha They have their own parking lot and that is definitely a plus because there isn't much parking out front. I thought most prices were fair, but Be sure to check the tag color because most things are further discounted. Also, looks like they got rid of the clearance section and now those items are in the regular racks with a punched out RP on the tag. They're like hidden gems! I can't wait to come back read more

Heather is a gem! So helpful and energetic. This is a great stop for work wear and upscale casual clothes. I love that the men's section has so many options. Typically men's clothing is shoved in a dark corner but not here. I love the variety of brands and styles and the great deals. Theydon't accept anything with excessive wear and everything is currently in fashion or classic staple pieces. Pricing is higher than typical thrift stores but that's because consignment is completely different! Everything is still a bargain when you look at the retail price. read more

I can't believe I haven't taken the time to write a review about a business I have frequented for close to 25 years now. I have both consigned and bought here. The high end clothing are a better bargain than the ones you can get new at Target or Gap. I love every purchase I have made. The customer service is stellar as well. Heather is the best, attentive and outgoing, and has been there for as long as I can remember. The owner hit the jackpot hiring Heather. They even have household decor and kitchen items. Repeat Performance is a consignment store; all the items belong to someone else and once the item sells, the store and client split profit. Because of that, all offerings are in pristine condition. They know their brands and how to price things out accordingly. The owner is very cheerful and friendly. They have a colored tag system from 10%-70% off ,so virtually everything has a discount adhered to it. It is very easy to navigate the store - it is super clean and extremely organized. What an amazing find. This thrift store is a show stopper, (pardon the puns.)Upon entering Heather gave me an exuberant welcome and a helpful rundown on the store. I noticed the store was clean, and it didn't have that old funky smell some thrift stores acquire. The store is bright, and well organized. The clothes are name brands and also sorted by color which is a big win for me, I love bright colors! Additionally Heather noticed I had an armful of clothes and she kindly offered to take them and start a dressing room for me. She was so attentive and pleasant, coming and unloading my armfuls every so often. I spent 2 hours shopping and went back the next day! They also offer free shipping and Facebook sales. A very nice consignment store! Nice items, clean, neat and organized. They have season appropriate clothing and even some smaller home decor items. The lady at the counter explained how the selling process works. Clothes must be clean and wrinkle free..and brought in on hangers. You can bring 25 items at a time and must have an appointment. A Fun and Friendly. Place to Shop ! I appreciate how things are grouped by color and size, which really helps if you're looking for something specific . All sizes are available of Women's, Children's and Men's Clothing. They even have home accessories to freshen up your home's interior look. You will notice many designer and top name brands. My Grandaughter like's LuluLemon and they have like new items at a fraction of it's normal selling price. They also have designer handbags, a nice selection of shoes. So okay.... been here plenty of times to officially state as fact how you can always find eye candy at this consignment clothing store. But however... the girl named Laura is a real deal stealer. She is so hard, in a hurry and no I don't have to be polite to you type of girl !!! OMG... really... isn't it true that without the customer there is no store or a job for you Miss Laura !!! Maybe some Midol from your local CVS would be beneficial for you. Kudos to the owner for such a beautiful consignment store though. Super excited to have have the chance to come back in to this place. I haven't been here since my kids were very young when it was geared more towards mothers and children. They now have furniture and a nice men's section. I love how organized it is, smells clean, and very friendly greeting at the front door where she explained how everything works with pricing and sections in the store. The signs in the parking lot made me uneasy, I had to keep looking out the widow to check my car which made it a bit unpleasant but I'm glad owners are pre warning, (perhaps this will "scare away" thieves)I bet you could leave your wagon unlocked in the 1930's..too bad society behaves this way now. Shame! However, definitely not a deciding factor for shopping here, perhaps next time I visit I can find a spot somewhere that will make me more comfortable to leave my car. read more

Fun store! I found quite a few 90s and y2k throwbacks in nice fabrics and brands. $60 for a couple pairs of shoes, a couple skirts, a couple dresses, a couple tops. I could have bought more but had to cut down my pile. I didn't find myself digging through a lot of junk or damaged goods like some other thrift stores. The prices reflect better curation though, a bit higher also since it's all consignment. I like the color sticker and tag system they use which is easy to understand and seems fair to buyers and sellers. It is my understanding that this business is a ministry. I can certainly appreciate what they do to help those who need support, as we also help others. They are very particular and carefully examine each of your items which is a smart business practice. Because of this, they don't have an inventory of stained and well worn items to sell. Those are the plus sides of this business. However, I understand that you can't get new prices out of used clothing, but all said and done, I received an average of $5.00 per item out of the 20+ pieces I placed on consignment many of which came from higher end boutique/retail stores and I'm sad to say that many were worn only once. Lesson learned. I can't remember the last time I received such unfriendly and unappreciative service. Not a word during the 20-30 minutes it took to check the items in, except "how much did this cost new?". I understand she had a job to do entering all the items one by one with descriptions, but to totally disregard your customer standing there in front of you who has brought you more business, not good. Not to mention no "Thank you" when she was finished. I did what I was asked by making and being on time for an appointment and bringing in good quality clothing. At the very least a "thanks for coming in", would have been nice to hear. I worked retail years ago, and on bad or hard days, I was always cordial to the customers it was expected by the customer and demanded by my management. It's just a good way to do business. read more

I am modifying my star 3 star rating today to a 5 star rating because I just received a call from the owner Gwenn. I sincerely appreciate that she took the time and went above and beyond to reach out to me to make sure that I was a satisfied customer, and now I am. Being a successful small business owner myself, I do understand that sometimes things can happen that may be out of our control, and sometimes even with the best intentions, certain details can also slip through the cracks. I also now realize that the onus was not totally on them, and I wasn't as proactive in follow-up as I could/should have been. I also learned that the unfriendly woman who had processed the items that I was putting on consignment, was no longer working there. I truly do wish her well and hope that she's found employment that's more suited to her gifts and skills (we all have them), which from my experience interacting with her would exclude a customer service position. I really like this thrift/consignment store when shopping for people I known who have been in need. Men and boy's clothing specifically. I am not a thrift store shopper per say, but this store is extremely organized, and has nice, clean, unwrinkled clothing, which makes shopping for clothes there particularly easy, and I really appreciate that. I give them for inventory quality, organization, and cleanliness. However, as a place to put items on consignment, not so much. I give them for the consignment experiences that I've had there. I took a lot of plus size clothing in on one of the two occasions for consignment, and the young woman who thoroughly checked my items in wasn't very friendly. She acted as if she was doing me a huge favor by taking my items, and wasn't very kind, gracious, or appreciative. I've yet to return for any reason since that experience. Important to note that everyone else that I had ever interacted with there before the checking in clothes for consignment experience, weextremely friendly and helpful, and up to that point, my experience of going there was always positive. I've consigned multiple items on two separate occasions, and each time, once I took my items there, I never heard from them again. Where did my items go? Who knows? No $ for the sell of any of the items, and no contact from them thereafter. Nothing informing me of what was going on with the items that I had put on consignment. Maybe they didn't sell and were being donated, but I couldn't say, as there was no communication. Also, no receipts for tax deductions, etc. to speak of, nothing, zip! In hindsight, I wish that I had just taken all my nice items to the "Neighborhood Thrift" in the Tower District on Olive, which is where I've been taking my stuff recently to donate because they bless so many people in the area in need, as well as donate to other worthy organizations. read more

Talk about a hidden gem in Fresno! A friend of mine told me to go here because I was looking for jewelry for my halloween costume and I am so glad I did. Not only did I find jewelry but also a hat that was able to use for my costume as well. There is a lot to look at in this store as the inventory always changes! I went in there on one Saturday to look at their selection of necklaces and ended up buying the hat. I went in there another Saturday to finalize my necklace selection and they got in more stuff to choose from. I ended up purchasing two necklaces from them and they couldn't have gone better with my costume! The staff is phenomenal here. Right when I walked in (the first time I went there) I was greeted by one of the staff - younger girl with long brown hair - and I told her what I was looking for. She also explained to me how the pricing works in the store. After I looked at the necklaces I went throughout the whole store to see what they all had. Women's, mens, teens, shoes, household items, suits, kids and so much more! Then when it was time to ring me up, the lady at the register was such a doll. She was so friendly and was just as ecstatic I was getting this hat for $1.50 as I was! The second time I came in, the same two ladies were working and they remembered me. This to me is the key to a well run business! Again the girl with the long brown hair helped me find the necklaces I needed and I was on my way. So glad I found this place!! read more

I was a consignor and want to share my experience with those of you considering entrusting your clothing to this consignment store. When you bring in your clothing for their inspection they are dead serious about them being in perfect condition. They refused some of my items for super minor infractions. You have to agree to surrender your clothing. You will not get it back if it doesn't sell. They claim they cannot keep track of which clothing items belong to which consignor. To me that is a lame excuse to be able to keep and do whatever they want with your clothes. I gave them up in good faith that I would get paid for many if not most of the items but that was NOT the case. I brought in 23 items and got paid for 9. I got a check for a measly $24. And let me add, my items were of very high quality; Tommy Bahama, Cache, Ann Taylor, BCBG, Paige denim, etc., The payoff was NOT what I expected and not worth the time and effort to get the clothing cleaned, pressed and delivered downtown Fresno to their store. You might as well donate them and take the tax write off because in the end they will give you a receipt for what they donated so you can do just that. The one thing they did right was mail me my check since I live far away. They expect you to go to the store in person to pick it up. I guess that's because you might buy something from them which I did while they looked at what I brought in. I think I broke even. Ugh... read more

I really liked the selection this place had! Had lots of modern clothing but a satisfying amount of more vintage looking pieces that were still in great condition. The men's selection is quite a bit smaller than the women's selection though. This store is very clean and organized. But way overpriced for a thrift store. I've been in a few times and the sales are too confusing. They have like 20 different colored tags and 5 of them will be on sale (but it's like 2 different shades of blue and 3 different shades of green). Too confusing. I am really unfamiliar with the way consignment stores work, but this place is pretty nifty for shopping for used clothes. You are better off looking for clothes at a thrift store, but I really liked the service here. I walked into this store when doing my laundry at the laundromat across the street, hoping to kill time. I was walking around looking for the men's section when one of the employees walked up to me asking if it was my first time there. She was really upbeat and cheerful and walked me over to the men's section (which was only a few racks) and explained the way their method of pricing works. A lot of their clothes is tagged with a certain color and there are signs all over the place indicating a discount, just like a bunch of other thrift stores. I looked through the shirts and managed to find a nice button up shirt from the Gap for about five bucks. The back room is filled with furniture, electronics and books. The checkout process was pleasant and the Mary Kay looking ladies at the register made me feel totally welcome. But really, this place offers great service and a decent selection. read more
