Bling N Things is in a two story old wooden building that used to be the 49er Club, where local folks could have an old fashion dinner and dance. It was Randy's 49er Pub, the oldest bar in town, where bikers are welcome, "Where good friends meet and smoking is allowed", that's how old it was. So country rock, shuffleboard, pool & darts were replaced by a unique boutique called Bling N Things. It has a little bit of everything. I saw some furniture in old Victorian style and a bed showcasing the linens and country quilts, throws, framed prints, paintings and other home decor. I saw collectibles and clothes, a collection of eclectic items, home and garden products, gifts, funny printed t-shirts, good for the laughs and memories, and finally, candies and truffles for sale, such as Oopsy Daisy - Coconut Salted Caramels, Darth Vegan - Black Coffee, Godfather with Rum, Blame Canada Dark Chocolate/Maple, Cowgirl - Salted Caramel, etc. If you have time, do check it out, you never know what kind of treasure you can find here. Worse case scenario, you'll leave with some candy and fun memories to keep that are yours alone.

After they finished their conversation, the older employee went to the back. We continued shopping until finally I looked up and loudly said to the remaining employee: "Good morning, how are you?". She responded and STILL didn't ask if we needed assistance, if we were finding everything okay, if we had questions about any of their products, or anything! We couldn't believe how unprofessional both employees were. They obviously didn't need our business so we left. We try very hard to support local businesses. But when the employees treat us like we are invisible and aren't good enough to greet us when we enter their establishment or offer shopping assistance, then that business clearly does not want our money.

I was referred to these guys by a couple of friends who had all bought a pair of shoes and said how they great they were. Up to the point I bought my pair I was weighing the pros and cons of this company and Windwalker (another custom shoe vendor at my local faire) and had decided on Nativearth due to my friends great review and that I did not have to wait for custom shoes to be made and shipped to me. With that said, I wore my boots for that entire day and then actually wore them every chance I got for that entire week. 6 days after I bought them I had crouched down on the floor and the ankle height button on my left boot broke. I was very upset but understand sometimes there are faulty material. I say faulty cause I had my boots tied with the lace going over the top and round the bottom of the buttons and the button broke where it was soldered to the ring. I was not able to get back to faire until the following weekend,12 days after I bought them (02.27.2016). When I went in to talk to the clerks I was told I'd have to pay for a replacement button.
