We come here for the bulk paper products, waters, fruit, rotisserie chicken!, bulk meats and chickens, and instant coffee. Sometimes frozen stuff-but rarely. Then we shop around for on sale snacks, seasonal stuff or clothes. Kids clothes packs like the swim stuff and Burt's bees pajamas are the best for kids. Oh and the licensed clothes too. They have become super fast at checkout too. They help by scanning your card then the items, and when you get to register (either self checkout or otherwise) they or you scan your card and it loads the cart. It's great and so efficient. My favorite trick has always been adding food court items in line! Then you pick up at window with receipt. Sometimes it gets super crowded and the parking lot is always a hot mess. But I don't think I could say no to a membership. lol

Then membership clerk, Noah, came across as very distracted and spent more time talkimg with co-workers instead of focusing on helping me. It made me feel unappreciated as a customer. Aside from today's experience, I also wanted to mention my dissapointment with the car key replacement service I purchased through Costco third party, Car Keys Express. After being told if would look exactly just like the OEM key. They key works fine so far, but the appearance was dissapointing from the start, and after about a year? The labels started fading away. For the price i paid, i expected better quality and more honest advertising.

I asked the man at the register if they had any WHITE nail lamps specifically like the one being displayed on the counter after being shown a pink one from the back. He claimed that the white one being displayed was "brand new". I was kinda confused because he said there was in fact not any white lamps but it seemed he got the idea right there and then to just sell that one to me. It was $65 so I ended up buying it. This lamp was NOT new at all. As soon as I got home to use it I had noticed there was many markings and damage to the so called "new"lamp. No big deal, I said okay it's fine as long as it works right. But then I noticed some of the lights were dead! I came to this realization bc my thumbs were not curing properly. I reviewed my receipt and noticed it stated something along the lines of " no refunds or returns due to SANITARY reasons." Yet they gladly sold to a loyal customer a used up nail lamp. I of course went back to explain to same exact man the situation. He insisted that it was "new"he even tried selling me more lamps and a blinged out one for extra $10 like????? He showed me multiple and I was really considering stillllllll switching it out but when I would carefully inspect the lamp, EVERY SINGLE ONE had at least one or two dead lights! He was pushing so hard for me to take one as I kept on explaining literally over and over that they all aren't even working properly. Oh and he tried to say that the lamps that only had one dead light was the "sensor". Very unprofessional, money hungry business owners and definitely will never spend a $ here again!

The owner looked me up and down, and said, "Leave your backpack at the counter!" I informed him that it was my purse and contained my medications, wallet, and car keys. He insisted that it was store policy. I gestured at the Mexican and White ladies shopping who clearly had possession of their purses and asked him if he was stating that it was policy only for people who look like me to leave their purses at the counter while they shop. He actually looked me dead in the eye and said "Yes. Store policy." The lady at the check out counter turned and looked at him in absolute shock and dismay and it took everything I had to walk out of there calmly without cussing the guy out. I guess I have to give the guy credit for having no shame about his discriminatory practices but WOW. I've shopped there numerous times before and never run into him until today. I regret the copious amount of money I've already spent there and I definitely wont ever be going back. It sickens me to think I've been supporting a bigot this whole time. I can't recall the last time I faced such blatant discrimination but it ruined what had been a very pleasant day up until that point. It was so ridiculously offensive I'm seriously considering consulting with an attorney.

Lots of imported Asian decor, kitchen stuff, kitschy decor items, party supplies, toys and candy. You can also find some random "As Seen on TV" items from the pre-digital tv era. Stocked up on some Valentine's decorations and found some really cute Mardi-gras style beads made of red hearts. Sorry, I think I bought all but the last package. It's pretty rustic in there and some of the stuff looks like it's been there for ages, but for your dollar-store type of items, it's worth a stop.
