I absolutely hate this Wal-Mart. The shelves are always bare and there is never enough cashiers. Yesterday, I had such a poor experience I have decided I wont be going back. I only go in this Wal-Mart when I need to pick up an order that I placed online. Yesterday I ordered a blender. I went to pick it up and the box was so beat up that I refuse to take it. It was obvious that the item had been used and returned to the store. The Sales Associate LaKeisha as very friendly and accommodating. She offered to help in anyway she could. She spoke to the manager about my item. The manager's first question was are all the pieces in the box. She stated that was the only box that was in the store beside the displayed item. I told her I thought she should have declined or cancelled my order because no one should be sold what they were trying to give me. After I explained my disappointment. The manager finally told Lakeisha to call another store and they gave me a gift card for my inconvenience. But there is no way I should have been told the item was in the store. read more

I used Wal-Mart for an oil change for the very first time. Horrible experience. The shop is a scam. I asked for the Pit Crew oil change which I was told was $20 however, when It was check out time the price was $31. I told the guy ringing me up and he goes " I don't understand why it's $30 it should be $20" for the service that was done and that I would have to come back the next day because the manager left already. When I spoke to the manager the following day, he gave some lame story that my car type needed the Standard oil change where they do more for you car such as vacuum your car etc. I never heard of that and for the record my car was not vacuumed . I simply asked for a Battery Replacement price for an Android phone and the gentleman's response was "we only work on iphones". I said "my apologies, i only called because your website showed that you also repaired Androids". And his reaction to that was "our website lies", and hung up on me. This store is improving. The new layout is improving the flow and appearance. I was in this store this past Saturday and surprised they were changing it. There is so much space in this store and any improvement is better than the way it's been for the past 10+ years. The self checkout registers were flipping out which made it aggravating to check out. read more

The worst customer service ever. I asked for formula and the girl rolled her eyes at huffed. I went to the aisle next the the formula. I guess that was too much work for her. I was there on 1/15/2022, never will i go there again. She was rude from the start. Asked for 4 of the bottles and she got 3. I thought she didn't see the 4th one so I'm notifying her but her response was "can i put these down?!" With an attitude of course. Then i had checks. I guess she didn't know how to do it so she asks for another coworker. The coworker said i can't use these checks when i informed her i just came from another Walmart and they used it. So the manager said i can use it. So the cashier said "omg it's almost 2pm" probably her lunch time but jeez i did not expect this service especially in cherry hill New Jersey. Honestly its Walmart so the prices are the same and so are the products within the store. However the staff are particularly nasty unhelpful and ignorant about the store and what is in it. I am not sure if it is training or a lack of motivation to do the simplest task that is their job. The place is kind of a dumpier Walmart but it has everything I need and for the most part the cashiers are as friendly as I have encountered at Walmart. I admit that, although this is the closest Wally World to my house I usually make the trip to the Deptwood store or the one off of 42 but mostly because I prefer a Super Walmart to avoid making 2 trips to the store. read more

Horrible horrible customer service. While I was pregnant (about 8 months) and looking like I was ready to pop the a Spanish supervisor practically told me I should have come early to return an item that was heavy. I checked the website to see what time they closed and it said midnight, but never mentioned anything about customer service closing at 10:30. Since the box was heavy and I was pregnant I had to wait till my husband got out of work. We walk into the store and the customer service was "closed". I asked one of the cashiers and she said I would have to talk to the supervisor. When the supervisor arrived she said I could not do the return bc it was closed already. she said to come back the next day. I told her that I had checked in the website and did not say anything about customer service closing early. She said in a very rude way that she did not have the time to look at the website and I did answer me neither, but I wanted to make sure what time they closed. She also told me I should have come early and I told her obviously I was pregnant and could not carry the heavy box and had to wait till my husband got out of work. She was really rude, nasty attitude. Every time I saw her she was always grumpy and seemed she was annoyed to be there and to even be asked a question and not just to customers, but to the employees. And that is why I started going more often to target and even the rest of the family. The arts and craft supply department never has anyone to help. When we go shopping for a fabric and need it to be cut it literally takes more then 40 or more minutes to have someone assist. When we ask no one knows anything till we get annoyed. So now we go to either Joann's or michael's. Its much cleaner, better customer service and do not have to wait for almost and hour to have someone help you. And to top it off I have almost stepped on mouses running around in the diaper department. Hopefully, the new remodeling will help. But needs better customer service training. Where the cashiers or customer service do not talk to you like you are asking to get things for free. Or when you need an item on any department you have to wait forever. Called this store to see if they have a product in stock. Was put on hold and then hung up on. Because I had nothing to do, for funsee's I put the phone on speaker and timed how long it took. 44 minutes for anyone who is curious. I recommend just walking in the store to check availability or better yet go online and check if product is in stock at your local store. Update Called again to buy tires from these clowns. Though this was literally only my fifth lifetime experience inside a Wal-Mart, I can safely say this was the worst. The store is completely dismal. This place is horrible. Seriously the worse Walmart I've ever been in. Do yourself a favor and go to the Target across from The Cherry Hill Mall. I came in here with my mom who lives in the area and the issues as tarted as soon as she came out of the bathroom. Water all over the floor, as well as all kinds of bodily fluid all over the seats. She told the customer service associate and she just gave her this "I don't care look". Nice. Especially since those are the same bathrooms THEY have to use. Says a lot about them... She needed to buy a few folding chairs and they were put in the wrong place. Instead of giving my mom the chair for the price marked, they argued that it was in the wrong spot so the price couldn't be honored. That wouldve made sense if it was just one chair but ALL the chairs were stocked wrong. Any other walmart would've just honored the marked price even if it was incorrect. On a second dreadful visit we were looking for 32" TV. My mom asked a girk if she worked in the Electronics department and she said, without looking at my mom, "yes" then proceeded to walk away and have a conversation with another coworker. Right in front of us, while we waited. Seriously? Then when I asked if she had a certain tv in stock she said "the cheapest tv I have is sold out". I didnt ask what the cheapest tv is but no matter. As others have mentioned the crowd here is pretty rough. However, the reason for my 2 star rating is due to the overall appearance, service, and lack of products - you know things actually in the store's control. The store is dingy and never seems to have their shelves fully stocked. On the upside, their freezer section is small but well stocked the same for the refrigerated aisle. They also have an aisle now with fresh produce while it's no super walmart, but it serves it's purpose. Don't even think about asking a sales associate for help finding an item you are better off buying those hard to find items online and having it shipped to the store. We came to this Wal-Mart in Cherry Hill because it had a tire department. I got 4 new tires Douglas (goodyear) for a little over $300 installed and balanced. They were courteous, prompt and did a beautiful job on our car. My hubby is coming back when he needs tires. read more

I went to this walmart and purchased a few of the women tees which were priced very low. The store closed @ 12 on a Friday and there were only 3 aisles that were open and only 1 person taking customers. I thought nothing of it because there were not many customers. The tee's that I had purchased turned out to be a great buy and I decided that I should go back and purchase more colors. I called the store and spoke with Gina who was super super attentive. She picked out more colors for me and told me that they would be @ customer service when I arrived. I had read on Yelps alot of reviews which are not great or pleasing and I was not sure that I wanted to return to this same store, but because of Gina I truly had an awesome experience. The worst experience ever! Avoid this place! I purchased 2 new tires and had them installed. The next day one of the tires was completely flat! The next morning- Less then 24 hours.... Looking at the tires more closely, I could see all this messy glue stuff around the rims. Just completely shoddy & sloppy work performed. I have never had tires put on a car that was this bad before in my life. It could have caused me an accident! I missed a days work trying to get this fixed. Inexcusable. This is about my family's recent interaction with one particular employee. It was Sunday, July 23, 2017. We had to pickup a pair of glasses from the Vision Center (VC). My wife called at 9am to hopefully get a voicemail with hours of operation, but there is not one...what???!!! There isn't even info availble on the website. So, we called the Walmart's main number and was answered by a woman. She informed us that the VC does not open until 10am and that they have their own phone number. We called again a little after 10am this time, but no answer. So, we called the main number AGAIN and got the same employee. She does not know why there is no one at the VC and we should try again a little later. We waited 20 minutes and called the VC again...no answer. So, we called again and got the same female employee to answer. This time, I asked if she could physically go to the VC and check the hours of operation. She replied that she would, but that "...the hours for Saturdays are 10am to 7pm...please hold". WHAT?!?!? Before I could correct her that it was actually "Sunday", not Saturday, she placed me on hold. I was on-hold for about 2 mins. When she returned, she said she "...realized it was Sunday, not Saturday...". The hours for Sundays are 12pm to 7pm. So, we left our house at 11:45am, knowing that it would take 35-45 mins to get there, plus a $5 toll. We got there at 12:30pm and it was CLOSED!!! We found the hours of operation and it stated that the VC was "closed" on Sundays. So, not only did the female employee lied to us, she did not even bother to get up and get us the info that we needed. This woman acted on ALL of our interactions as if we were an inconvenience to her! We got the info we wanted and called ahead before we left our home to ensure that the VC was open. I am hoping that this gets the attention of either a member of the management team or someone from the corporate office to "coach" the female employee in question. By the way, we'd rather pay more money to go to a competitor than deal with another employee from this Walmart! read more

I have been to several WalMart's across NJ and PA. This one on Rte-38 near the Courier Post building (just using CP as a landmark for reference) is without doubt the WORST WalMart I have ever visited, bar none! The floors are filthy inside. The restrooms are pure Hell. There is merchandise laying all over the shelves tipped over, opened, dirty and stained from splash via open containers. There is nobody to help you in the store area. I once asked an employee for help an she ignored me and walked away. After that I abandoned my cart, half full, and walked out in disgust never to return. Earlier at another visit I saw the Asst Mgr talking to two of his friends while bouncing a ball in the kid's toy area, while 5 asiles away a fallen 10Lb bag of dry dog food was spilled all over on the floor and still remained so un-cleaned up 25 minutes later. Paint area actually has graffitti on the shelves. Nobody at all to help you in the auto dept. Bottom line: Stay Away from the Cherry Hill Rte-38 Walmart at all costs. The place should be a poster-child for everything wrong in how to run a retail store. Go to the one in Marlton on Rte 70 instead. The Cherry Hill Rte-38 WalMart is an utter disgrace that should be shut down permanently or picked-up and re-located to Zimbabawe or some other 3rd world hellhole of a country. read more

I understand that giving a Walmart a poor review is redundant, but it will make me feel better. I literally left the pharmacy in tears yesterday. My first time to this location, the doctor recommended to me for prices. I had her call it in, and arrived at the pharmacy about a half hour later. The cashier did not speak English and gave me an attitude when I couldn't understand her. I love languages and speak several myself, and even blamed the misunderstanding on my stuffed ears. Yet she was ruder than necessary when she waved me away and told me,"ten minutes". 45 minutes later and several more eyerolls and gestures from Alfida, I was no closer to getting my prescription or understanding what the delay was. I have Bronchitis, so as you may imagine, spending my evening waiting in a scummy Walmart and being treated like garbage was not ideal. Ill be paying extra to take my prescriptions back to Walgreens from now on. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went online and ordered 30 photo prints through one hour photo. Two hours later I get an email saying they were delayed and that I should call to check on their status. I call for 200 hours, letting the phone ring more than 100 times combined an nobody answers. I call the main phone number and get transferred to electronics so they guy who answered could tell me that the photo lab is shut down until some lady may or may not come in later. In the meantime, my online order status has been updated to processing which is a lie. So much for one hour prints, it's not 5 hours later and I was told to maybe call back tonight to see if someone turned the lab on. Thanks for nothing. read more

This is consistently one of the worst Walmart's I've ever been in. I try not to go in here but it's next door to my gym so it is closer than Target. The staff is rarely helpful, they always appear lazy and uninterested in helping customers. This morning (Sunday) there were only 2 lines open with 7-10 customers in each line. The self checkout only had 1 line working with 6 people waiting. A supervisor was called to check on one of the self checkouts that was not working properly but she did nothing, she seemed unconcerned with opening any more lines even though 5 "associates" were loitering around the return area that had zero customers read more

He went twice to search for what I needed before I made the long trip to their store. He was very, very pleasant, helpful, and professional. That is enough for me to give them five stars! read more

Not happy with what they call CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered something on line and was told it should arrive by July 8th. I got a notice from UPS with the tracking number and it said it arrived at the store on July 6th. I called the store to find out why they didn't email me to come pick it up and to make sure it was there. I was kept on hold for over 20 minutes and finally just hung up. I called back again the following day and was once again put on hold for a long period of time, got fed up and called a 3rd time. This time I told the receptionist not to put me on hold, but to look up on her computer to find out if in fact my order was in the store. She was able to do identify that it arrived and I asked her why Walmart didn't email me to let me know I could pick up the order and she had no viable answer. Walmart exists without customer service. So, if you like their prices and don't need to talk to a knowledgeable human being shop there, if not, there are plenty other stores that are happy to have your business. read more

Whatever happen to the first day this walmart open. Everyone was nice and helpful. I have recently changed to target cause of the piss poor attitudes by the workers. Who trains these people the grinch! My experience today Pharmacist cashier says whats your name so i give it to her, she says YOU HAVE NOTHING with attitude. I said someone called and said it was ready. Cashier missed spelled my name and wasnt listening 3 times and gave me attitude. She tells me the cost (attitude) so i said i will have to come back for it. I had 3 small items in my hand and turned around to see if anyone was waiting behind me and there was nobody in sight. I asked her if i could cash out with her and she said I GUESS(ATTITUDE AGAIN) so i said (getting pissed at this point) do you want me to go to the register and she looked at me (WITH ATTITUDE) A Yeah. I turned to her now with ATTITUDE which is not the way i am and said OK LAZY ASS!!!!! I use to spend at least 100 dollars a week there and now if walmart gets 20 dollars a month from me they are lucky. Who ever runs these attitude people should re-think there jobs cause im sure im not the only one who has switched.
