Going through the Cherry Hill area and decided to stop by Costco and to gas up. What caught my eye was the plant section at the entrance. At other Costco's, I have never seen a dedicated area for plants like this one. The store has pharmacy, hearing aids, optics, eye exam, and a food court with a decent sitting area. This location is spacious and well stocked. The lines are pretty long but they move quickly and efficiently. Staff is friendly and helpful. Costco always delivers good value if you're willing to buy larger quantities. It is also a very good one stop shop option because the merchandise it carries are usually of high quality. read more

What's not to love about Costco?! The parking lot is big but still crowded lol. The store is also big with lots of different products. It is mostly a large quantity for a good price. The products are a good value but sometimes are too big for my household. The best part is the samples! There is usually 4-5 samples. It is a great way to try a product before buying. The lines are usually long but move fast. The bathrooms are big and clean. The food court is a great place to get a snack from pizza to ice cream and the hot dog deal! I do not recommend this store. Every time I go here they never have what I need. Even if online says they do. I had to call the store from inside the store to get service. But a manager comes and find me after 25 minutes then says 'sorry we can't scan product'! So I ask why are you the manager when you can't help anyone!! I got a blank stare. I usually enjoy shopping at this location, and I don't want to feel negatively about it--but there is one employee who consistently makes my visits unpleasant. Every time my family and I go to return an item, we seem to be helped by the same person, and the experience is always uncomfortable. The employee, whose name is My, is consistently dismissive and unfriendly toward us. She rarely greets us, speaks only in short phrases or one-word responses, and never offers basic courtesies like "hello" or "how are you." When she asks why we're returning something and we give her a reason, she often gives us a dirty look or questions why we're returning the item if it's been used. We understand Costco's return policy and feel that using a product to determine if it works for us is part of that process--especially when we've seen far more used or half-consumed items being returned without issue. What makes this worse is that it happens every time we deal with her, while all other employees at this location are polite, respectful, and efficient. When it's time to insert our card for the refund, she just taps the screen rudely without saying anything--basic communication would go a long way. read more

Corporate should step in and teach the managers and supervisors about how to schedule. The checkout experience is the absolute worst. You have morons pulling you out of line only to get you in a longer line because they do not know how to properly schedule. On Presidents Day prime time and less than half of checkout lines open as they want you to use the replacement cashiers aka self checkout. I will no longer shop at this location and will be moving to BJs and Sam's as they atleast have the self checkout using their apps. Shame on this store and their managers read more

I was there on Saturday at 9 AM and was out by 930. Glad that I did go early due to the on coming snow storm. But I did mess up. Bought Intuit TurboTax 2025. I got home and there is no registration code. I guess I was to do another step at the store. I miss the days of DVD with the software. Been using Turbo Tax since 1991 in the days of the floppy disks. So I am not sure if I am out 85 dollars. I tried calling the store but could not find the correct phone option. So many to choose from but none were about what I needed. read more

Costco Gem! Relative to other Costcos, I really like visiting this one given the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly nature of customer service. It could very well be the fact that I often visit outside of peak hours but the customer service line never seems to be too long and the conversation is more than just transactional. On a weeknight, the customer service line is almost nonexistent making returns or price adjustments a breeze. Even the lines for fuel are less of a wait compared to other locations (Lawrenceville, New Brunswick, Mount Laurel, and Edison) is my general impression. Relative to the nearby Mount Laurel, NJ location, this one has all my favorite items and every now and then they seem to have specials I don't see in others. The parking spaces are many on weeknights and wide making the process of loading and leaving easy. read more

Yesterday, my family came to shop and after the check out, the cashier name Gina M, she scanned my mom membership card and Gina partner looking at us very uncomfortable. After she done scanning and she asked if it's was mine and I said it was my mom. She said it's her card she have to scan. I'm like it's not your business to tell us like that, she here ain't she? It's not like she going anywhere I was helping my mom cause not comfortable to do her own. I have my own card and membership/account so why it's her business. Is she having problem with us cause we Asian? Or she being Karen? Gina was about to be done work doesn't mean she have to be rude and disrespectful when she about to be done her shift. AGGGHH! This is a true love- hate relationship. Love the prices BUT the organization of the place is like organized chaos! Items you buy regularly can be present for a bit then VANISH. If you are lucky they are just relocated somewhere else. If not lucky you are out of luck. As much as I hate their competition, I can ALWAYS find the item I need in the SAME location. I got my new glasses at Cherry Hill NJ optical, I was so lucky to have Ilya Shalman, this man knows his business, I was there getting 2 pairs of glasses, told me the special and I wanted sun glasses, I'm a crossing guard so I need a bigger glass, he bought me the perfect pair I got fitted for 2 pairs in 10 minute- he was fabulous! Costcos has the best fee for frames and fabulous help! read more

Costco is the worst! I joined in February 2025 so I expected that my membership would be good through February 2026. My card says membership since February 2025 and I showed the billing on my credit card statement charged in February 2025. But they tell me my membership is expired when I tried to shop in December 2025. I was certainly confused as I walked in and was yelled at by the employees scanning at the front door. And I was equally confused as I spoke to customer service who told me the same thing and did not care my card said otherwise as well as my credit card statement showing the charge for the membership. But they had no hesitation to ask if I wanted to renew about four times. My response was "are you kidding me!". I was shorted out of three months of my membership which is completely wrong and unethical. I guess I should have known this company was horrible when I tried to return something over the summer 32 days after purchasing. The return policy is 30 days, so I understood but certainly I feel they could have processed the return with no problem. Not Costco! I have memberships to Sam's Clubs and BJ's. I will continue to patronize them as I have literally never had any issues there and have been a member at both for close to a decade. Bye Costco! Good luck to all the members. First visit to this new store. Just like other Costco locations, this store was clean and well-stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is the first Costco store that had a self-checkout, they have approximately 4-5 self-checkout registers with an attendant standing by. The food stand is clean and it also had a couple of self-order kiosks, which made the ordering process smoother. The gas station had an extremely long line. It is most likely due to the gas price per gallon being approximately 20 cents cheaper than other local gas stations. read more

This is the newest Costco in the area, so I was so happy that it's close to home and much easier to get to than Mt. Laurel, which is awkward to get to. I popped in on a Wednesday, late morning. Currently I do NOT have a membership, but I did have a Costco (SHOP) gift card, knowing that you do not need a membership in order to enter. I know this because I called not once, but twice, to speak with the customer service desk to make sure it wouldn't be a problem to use it without a membership. I called BEFORE the gift card was purchased to make sure it would be OK to walk in without a membership but to pay for items using the gift card. I called again the day before I stopped in to double check. Twice I was assured it would not be a problem. Breezed in, showing my gift card, not a problem. I only had 2 items to pay for. I was happy to see a self-check out lane, so I explained to the staff person there that I wanted to use the gift card. Staff: "That's not a membership card, you can't shop here unless you're a member." ME: "No, I spoke to your customer service twice -- " Staff: Speaking slowly to me like I'm stupid. "It's NOT A MEMBERSHIP CARD." Another minute or so of her arguing with me so I asked her to get a supervisor. Someone comes over, says I'm right, I don't need to have a membership in order to use the gift card, she just needed to do something on the screen, fiddles with the screen, buzzer goes off, screen goes ballistic, I get sent over to another line. Now I'm in my second line. I hand over the gift card again and start to explain... "That's not a membership card. I need your membership card. You can't shop here without a membership card." OH FOR THE LOVE OF $4.99 ROTISSERIE CHICKEN, THE LOSS LEADER THAT BRINGS IN MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO COSTCO. Here we go again. I asked her to go get a supervisor who once again says no problem, fiddles with the screen. Transaction done. So I take it that this experience boils down to the fact that staff people here are new and don't know all the rules, so hopefully they'll gain some experience from this and things will go a lot smoother from now on. The worst Costco I've ever shopped. Today, like most days, there are no carts inside; retrieve your own from the lot stations. The checkout likes are not only all the way to the back of the warehouse, they're wrapped around the side. No one is available to help, there's no room to maneuver and everyone is so frustrated they just shove past. And it's not just the holidays, it's like this ALL THE TIME. My fiancé and I moved pretty close to this location over the weekend and decided to pop in to see if there was a way for us to look around before opting to purchase a membership. Neither of have ever dealt with a discount club like this, so we wanted to confirm that it was something that would be of benefit to us before committing. My fiancé spoke to multiple employees to ask if this was possible and was advised that the membership desk would be able to give us a temporary pass. We stood at membership for about 5-10 minutes and watched 4 different employees huddle around a computer trying to assist a customer. As the line started to form behind us, the employee at the Refunds counter stepped out to see if she could assist us. We relayed what the multiple other employees had told us. She said that temporary passes were not a thing. A sure fire way for me to not spend money at a store is for me to get multiple stories and misleading instructions before I'm even 100 feet into the building. I'll pass. Sam's Club isn't that far away. read more

Just had the worst experience here as my first time here with a supervisor - yes a supervisor that I just was asking a question where to find something and he wouldn't even stop walking to help or look at me - just gave me a VERY vague answer "at the tire center". Again - this is my first time here and I just wanted to know where something was or where the tire center even was. Even a point in the right direction would've been great. I asked a few workers and they said they think his name is Will. I just can't believe there's someone this rude and unprofessional working at such a nice place. This Costco is everything! I had never been to a Costco but was a BJ's member. Finally got to this new store this past Sunday. We were offered the opportunity to enter the store before deciding on a membership, but declined and purchased a membership. The process took longer than expected but the store is new so many of the customers were first timers. Once inside, I was overjoyed. The variety of foods and discounts were MUCH better than BJ's. I like BJ's but this is on a whole other level. My only concern is that I'm hoping the quality of the experience does not decline. I'm going back this weekend. I got home and was asked why I was smiling so hard. The best thing: You don't have to wonder if you are getting a discount. The savings are obvious! read more
