My wife loves them. I have come here a few times already and wow is all that I can say. The staff is outstanding. If they know you, they greet you personally. I cannot tell you how many times I was walking down the aisle where a staff member said Hi Joe! How were the steaks last week? Or some concept thereof. This is definitely a good area. I believe that a company called Zallie's owns this store, they have their branding all over the place. Their bakery is great as well! Got my sons Birthday cake here and it was amazing! I have not had the opportunity to try anything that Zallies has made yet besides that. I went to the fish department to get some salmon that was on sale, and the dude behind the counter got a fresh whole piece from the back because I needed 10 pieces lol! Guy was super nice. The rest of the store is super clean, and everyone is super friendly. Staff knows where everything is even water chestnuts which is 1 tiny can from 1 brand. People move their carts to the side if they see you coming. Just a wonderful experience! They have everything that you need and more! Whatever you are looking for they most likely have. All in all a great store, with a great selection, great prices, great staff! I highly recommend coming here for all the greats this store has.

Wegmans was a very pleasant surprise during my stay in the area…read more Traveling in from out of state, I stopped in to grab a few groceries and quickly realized this was not a typical grocery store. The place is huge but very well laid out, and right when you walk in you are greeted by bold signage, bright colors, and a friendly customer service team that was happy to answer questions and help me find what I needed. This is the kind of place where you can grab dinner, groceries, flowers, and even prescriptions all in one stop, which is incredibly convenient when you are on the road. The ready-to-eat food section alone could be its own destination, with an upstairs seating area that makes it easy to eat and relax. The bakery was impressive with fresh breads and baked goods, and the meat and seafood departments stood out with a wide range of quality options. The flower shop added a nice pop of color, the aisle signage made navigation easy, and the elevated train running along the back of the store was a fun, nostalgic touch. Add in a full pharmacy, personal health section, and even some local sports swag, and this store truly has it all. Overall, it was an enjoyable shopping experience and one I would absolutely recommend.

The store itself is bigger, more spacious, and especially noticeable in the produce section, which is significantly larger here. Just like the smaller location, the produce is extremely fresh, high quality, and largely local -- one of Murphy's strongest overall selling points. There's no liquor store at this location, but honestly, with the expanded grocery layout and produce selection, it still feels like a great all-around market. The bakery here is just as good as the other location -- truly excellent -- although we obviously don't split our cake orders between the two. Once you find a bakery you trust, you stick with it! Like the smaller store, this location also participates in community events, including the Easter egg hunt, which is always a big hit with families and kids. It's nice to see consistency across locations and that same neighborhood-focused feel, even in a larger space. Pricing follows the same theme -- on the higher side overall -- but again, when sales hit, they're very well priced and absolutely worth taking advantage of. All in all, this is a great Murphy's location if you want more space, a larger produce selection, and the same quality and care the brand is known for. Bigger store, same great bakery, same community feel.

I go there for their raisin walnut and cranberry walnut bread. It is absolutely delicious.read more

I'm not usually up this way, as I live in Virginia these days, but my dad passed pretty suddenly…read moreearlier in the month and his funeral was this past Saturday. My mom was feeling like she needed to get out of the house yesterday, so I agreed to go with her to this TJ's location. I get pretty anxious in grocery stores so I tend to go in the early morning, so mid-afternoon on a Sunday was nerve-wracking for me. The parking lot is easy to navigate, which is nice for a TJ's location, and the store is well laid out too. Everything appeared to be well stocked. I want to give one of their workers a shoutout. I am not sure of his name, though. Essentially what happened was that my mom and I turned down an aisle. There was a man standing to the side with a cane, but he was...literally just standing there, so my mom scooted past him with the cart, said "excuse me" and kept walking. I was behind her and overheard the man's wife announce, "Yes, they can go, you have a cane after all!" in this really snarky, nasty tone. I turned and was like, "Was that really necessary? We buried my father YESTERDAY" and called her a not-nice name (if she replied, I didn't hear her -- I was seeing red). A worker nearby WHIPPED his head around and I thought for a second I was going to get kicked out of the store, but instead, he walked up to my mom and offered to help her put a heavy item in her cart. The checkout girl was pleasant too. Thank you to that worker for the small act of kindness at a time when we needed it. I appreciate that TJs workers seem to all practice active empathy no matter the location.

Ahhh, Murphy's--our super local neighborhood market and one of those places that just feels woven…read moreinto the fabric of the community. Even though it's literally down the block from us, we still tend to do our big grocery hauls at ShopRite. But for everyday essentials? Murphy's is our go-to. Bread, milk, eggs, deli meats, quick staples--we're here all the time. It's the kind of place you pop into without overthinking it because you know exactly what you're getting: quality, freshness, and familiarity. Now let's be honest--it's expensive. Very expensive. But... it's also super fresh, and that's the tradeoff. The produce is honestly amazing, and much of it is locally sourced, which really shows in both the quality and the variety. Everything looks vibrant, well cared for, and thoughtfully stocked. I genuinely wish we could afford to shop here more often because the produce alone is top-tier. One thing that really stands out is how closely connected Murphy's is to the neighborhood. This isn't just a store--it feels like a community hub. They clearly put effort into being part of local life, and that shows in the little extras. For example, they host an Easter egg hunt for Easter, which is such a thoughtful, family-friendly touch. I'm sure they do other community events as well--we just haven't followed closely enough to catch them all, but the intent is very clearly there. They also have an attached liquor store, which is a huge plus. We often come here specifically for items that other liquor stores don't carry, and it's super convenient to be able to grab groceries and specialty beverages in one stop. And I can't talk about Murphy's without mentioning the bakery, because it's phenomenal. We get all of our birthday cakes from here--everything from simple, classic cakes to fully custom designs. They even made a specially designed pumpkin-shaped cake for my daughter's first birthday, and it was both adorable and delicious. That alone earns them major points in our book. One more thing worth noting: when items do go on sale, the prices are actually very good--sometimes shockingly so--making it feel like you've won a small victory when you catch the timing right. Lastly, Murphy's has three locations, which speaks volumes about how well they're run and how much the community supports them. Overall, Murphy's is one of those places you're genuinely happy to have nearby. Yes, it's pricey--but the freshness, quality, local sourcing, community involvement, bakery, and specialty offerings make it absolutely worth it when you need something special (or just really good produce).
