Don't think twice; just hire Southwest!…read more Our AC was leaking water in our attic and several vendors came out to diagnose. All of the basic fixes failed, and they all said we needed a full replacement. We gave Southwest a call for one last opinion based on a friend's recommendation, and Erick saved us. He spent 2+ hours in our sweltering attic troubleshooting every possible issue, until he found a quirk in our condensate drainage that no one else figured out. Once he accounted for that, it was quick work to purge our line and clear a clog that was responsible for the overflow in our attic. He knew we were resigned to replace the AC and easily could have told us the same. But he worked extra hard on our behalf, provided an affordable fix, and stayed longer to clean up the shoddy work from the past vendors. Admittedly it took a little longer to get Southwest out to our home, but I now know it's because they're going to take their time and really solve your problem. Not just rush through the call and upsell you on work you don't need. Heroes.

LONG STORY SHORT, I've been through HVAC hell, and finally decided to go with a new, local company with stellar reviews that recognized my system's warranty. Mario came to inspect the system, identified the repairs that needed to be made, was in and out within 2 hours only a day after I requested service, and not even $500 later I'm enjoying a cool, air-conditioned home. Extra points for not trying to upsell me on an entirely new system (lol - happened to me twice since buying my home, neighbors actually warned me about non-local HVAC companies), AND I can safely say that when I DO eventually need a new HVAC system, I'll be going with Manny's. I tried using our home warranty, but they gave me every reason under the sun not to cover it. I met with several air-conditioning companies for quotes, one that even quoted me over $50k for a new unit and ducting. I met with Kyle who worked with me on pricing. I did my homework and reached out to a few contractors, including Gominisplit, to collect some quotes. I met with several other contractors, who did not show up to estimate appointments, were blatantly rude, and tried to upsell me things I did not need. Jose was a gem. He responded quickly to my inquiry and was punctual for my home walkthrough as well as all visits thereafter. He made sound recommendations and provided a competitive and fair estimate. I hired him because he was honest and easy to work with. He speaks English and Spanish, which was helpful because my dad speaks Spanish and he's the one who mainly coordinated with Jose.
