You should be able to give zero stars. First, let me say I understand there's an employee shortage. But management needs to do some serious customer service training so the remaining employees mitigate the issues. I had a 12:10 appointment for a Covid booster today. Arrived 20 minutes early to check in and was told to get in line with everyone else getting boosters or picking up Rx. 20 minutes later I reached the front of the line. Did the paperwork and was told to have a seat. Um... 5 chairs in the waiting area and a dozen people already waiting. They had only one person giving vaccines. And they took people in the order they came in, regardless of appointment time. Including walk-ins. At 1:30 the only vaccine person went to lunch. Nothing was said to any of the waiting patients. Yes, workers deserve their lunch breaks. But can't you tell the patients there will be a delay so they can also get lunch. Or go sit in their cars? I finally got my vaccination at 2pm. Nearly two hours after my appointment time. Come on, you can do better, Walgreens. If you can't handle the volume, then don't take appointments. BTW - while I was waiting, a lady in her late 90s came for a prescription and was told she'd have to wait 1-2 hours. My sister asked if they couldn't give her priority but was pretty much told to butt out. She was still waiting when we left. Even though there was no one else waiting for a prescription. read more

Simple prescriptions take over a day. When you call they put you through a automated system that is of no help. When you actually speak to someone they don't care or hang up on you. I usually only go here to pick up prescriptions, and I usually do drive thru so I don't have to deal with people inside. Today I also needed to look for some other meds and went inside. Idk what was going on, but the pharmacist working the front took forever with a couple. There was one lady in front of me in line and she ended up walking away after about 15-20 minutes of waiting. I was getting pretty irritated myself, but didn't know when else I'd drive up to pick up my stuff so I waited. Worst part was that the pharmacist was wearing her mask below her nose. An elderly was so tired of waiting she had to constantly sit down and get back in line I felt so bad for her but they don't care about people here seems they get yelled at all the time, no wonder they have short tempers but that's not an acceptable treatment to those of us that wait patiently and have legitimate questions. I made an appointment by phone for the Covid 19 vaccine... it said they had the Moderna... when I arrived not only was I told they didn't have it but the pharmacist was very rude and told me she is very busy so she practically told me to fuck off. EDIT: they got our results back within three days after all. Updating to 3 stars. COVID test? look elsewhere. They promised a test result in 24-36 hours. However after two days, they now claim they need up to another 5 days! That is bait-and-switch at best, and at worst, endangering potential COVID victims and the public by delaying a diagnosis up to a week. The fact that they delivered the news via a snarky misinformed service rep without an excuse doesn't help their case. Try CVS. So when I finally went to pick it up (after 12 days) the lady (short black hair, glasses, Asian) said it's been more than 10 days and we can't hold it "forever" RUDELY!! & I said is that policy stated somewhere because it didn't state that in the app and she said "everyone knows it. We just don't hold medication forever". Clearly rude angry lady, not everyone knows it. Because obviously I didn't and that policy is not stated anywhere that's visible for the customers. Instead of being so rude she could've approached it better. This is regarding patients medications due to their medical needs and she was completely insensitive about it. I am in shock! I tried Walgreen's drive-thru pharmacy this afternoon. I waited over 20 minutes to get to the window. I am a single mom with a 9 year old and because she is sick I did not want to take her out of the car with a fever around others. Hence the drive-thru. When I got to the window I asked for Children's Tylenol and something for her earache. I was told that they pharmacist were busy. I understand that. But am I not a customer? I asked if I could wait and Ashley told me to come in even though that's completely irresponsible considering my daughters symptoms, which I told her. THEN she told me to leave my daughter in the car while I come inside. It's ILLEGAL!!!! and it was 95 degrees outside!!! I could not believe it! My daughter is at home now with an earache! Not only is her personality amazing but she also is very knowledgeable, fast and her exceptional customer service makes you feel so valued as customer. Which is a feeling I have yet to ever feel at a Walgreens (So Cal to Nor Cal) and I have been a customer since as long as I can remember . I was lucky enough to have her assist me at the window with a pick up and my dog even loved her!!! I wish I lived closer, so Rosie could always assist me. The pharmacy does not fill prescriptions in an appropriate amount of time. My father went three days after a serious surgery without pain medication because they were "out." This is not acceptable. I thought he forgot his mask...ok, but then I saw him again walking in my direction still without his mask. Notice on the door starts "Masks Are Required". They just let him in and out without one. The pharmacy would not accept my insurance card even though the back of my card showed CVS coverage. She would not even call the 888 number for verification of coverage. I then had to pay the full dollar amount $70+, and get reimbursed from my insurance directly. NOTE: I have had my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy for years and never had problem. Ran in here today for a cell phone charger for my car and an energy drink. Myself and my phone needed a charge lol. They carry the best little phone chargers here. Ranging from $5 (perfect) for a 4 in long cord to $15 for the long cord (don't remember the length) all the chargers are USB friendly and come in a variety of colors. The guy at the register was super nice and made sure I grabbed the right one. I also do my shopping here for all my toiletrie items. Can't beat the prices. I also save $2 using my rewards card.
