This is a walgreens I like shopping sometimes hadn't been back to since the pandemic. This is Walgreens of New Hampshire Avenue and Wolf Avenue . This is next door to the Capitol One Bank across the street from pizza hut and BP Gas Station, Human Manor Restaurant . This place has a huge parking arwa . As you walk n you go through sliding doors to enter thie store . On the left is the Cashier and Photo center t help with phontos and passports. This place near there is a wall fir cell chargers and other technical stuff . I hss displays for doods such ss potato chips and other special sales goods. On the right bhabe all sorts of aisles . Some for women's cosmetics and other goods. Then you jabe aisles for hall arm cards , Many iaskes , Children toys and goods , Grocery Ialses sias cereals, Chios , And snack items . I yhe back aisles you have pharmaceutical goods Bitamins , Stationary , And so much more yo choose from . But as far as jobs are concerned, the Management needs changing because some dint have the right people skills or personality needs to have customers to feel at home . But the cashier staff are Hospitable. In the back of the store you have the pharmacy area where people have to order prescriptions and get vaccination shots a fir certain diseases to be protected against . They have stock people who do their jobs well . But management is a different story . Their phonecan8mation system when calling people when medicines are out of stock , it should give people calls one time not 4 times. About applying for jibs I wish they make jib applications to apply on where they wont make it so difficult. I wish they make it easier so peppl like me can apply anf get the ji. There sincebits jot far from my home . This place has stuff I pile i always showed fir Sprite , Mountain Dew , Prongles and more . But im here to find ways to increase customer attention and more to get customers back there agajn since the pandemic and more that divided this country that turned us diwn a bad road against one another, Professionally, Racially , Religiously and more . I any place of business that should NOT Be Tolerated whatsoever . Things need to change . If people ov thos place as I do , This Place is for You . We hope to see you all again soon . But we the community need to come together in place of business like this one to Be Defiant against our Crooked Corruot Goverment. Please we need to become better men . Update on my Walgreens experience here. There's definitely better locations but this Walgreens is the closest to my parents house. It is a busy store both in the front and pharmacy. For our crazy it gets in the pharmacy for me is astonishing as they don't even have a drive-thru. They definitely need more support. Staff here though are all very friendly. One thing to note that was kind of Cool was that they sold gear for my high school. read more

Came in on a Monday at 9:15am for a passport photo after visiting another Walgreens location that was having difficulty with their camera. It wasn't busy but there were a few people in the store, so I had to wait about 5 minutes for my photo but the store employee was very professional. She worked quickly and diligently and printed my photo and had me out the door within 10 minutes. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I have been to this location over four times today looking to pick up a prescription for my fiancé who is severely ill. Before even coming in I was called and told my prescription was ready for pick up. I go in and have to wait in a line behind six people and only one worker. Said "worker" under the name of Pamela. Was a straight bitch and rude. No sense of urgency or desire to be a good person. Sent me home without a prescription after laughing at me for coming to pick it up twice and it not be there. I have now gone back to finally receive said prescription and guess who I get again. Pamela and this time she informs me she misplaced my meds and cannot find them. Ten minutes later suddenly they are there again. This woman needs to be fired and have her credentials checked. Never in my life have I ever received such disrespect and humiliation over something so easy as picking up medicine. If you ever plan to use this as your pharmacy save yourself the time and find a different location. I'll be calling corporate after this and telling them her behaviors as well. Ridiculous read more

This Walgreens pharmacy called us minutes before our vaccination appointment to let us know they didn't have the vaccine. We'd already driven almost half an hour to this Walgreens location for the appointment, so I just wasted almost an hour driving back and forth, with nothing to show for it. I also tried calling multiple times the day before to ask if they would have enough vaccines available--as suggested by a pharmacist at the other Walgreens we'd scheduled an appointment at first--but they never picked up after I sat around on hold each time. At least the other Walgreens gave us the courtesy of letting us know hours before our scheduled appointment that they'd run out of the vaccine. read more

This is specific to the Pharmacy. I have been using this pharmacy for about five years (including when it was RiteAid). I have been extremely impressed with their efficiency and desire to help. They have always responded to my questions and worked as an intermediary with my insurance company and doctors' offices. They return phone calls! I find the head pharmacist, Tatiana to be both professional. and caring. I have witnessed her reaching out to persons who need extra help, with sympathy and support. She is exceptional. read more

Pro: big parking lot. Con: bad pharmacy service. This review is based on the Walgreens pharmacy. Wow, I really didn't want this to be my 100th yelp review but what I just experience by this pharmacy made me so mad that I just had to write. So, I went to an urgent care today to get my eye injury treated and the doctor ask me which pharmacy she should send my med to and my past experience when this store was a rite aid before they transition to Walgreens was good so I was like send my meds here. Later on when I was at home I received a text from Walgreens saying that the med prescribed wasn't in stock and that they needed to order more. Later on at night I was thinking that since I have to leave town tomorrow for a few days that I should transfer my prescription to another pharmacy to see if they would have that medication. I tried calling Walgreens Pharmacy and was place on hold for FREAKING 50 minutes. I got so mad that I drove to the Walgreens to talk to them in person and to see how busy they were. Upon arriving I saw that there was only 2 staff working which would be a pharmacist & a pharmacy technician with only two customer in line. In my head I thought ok maybe they were just understaff tonight so I came up to the counter and politely ask to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. The pharmacy tech went above and beyond to me by rechecking the supply in the back and by some miracle they had the med. I would like to give this pharmacy tech a kudos by she wasn't wearing name tag but she was white, had curly hair, and wore a light blue scrub top. Walgreens system might be having a glitch because not only did it say the my med was out is stock but two other customer in line were mad because they got a call saying their med was ready today but it wasn't. All in all, Walgreens get your act together! and for next time I for sure will not be sending my medication here for pick up. read more

The Pharmacy "Manager" is sneaky, rude, deletes prescription requests that were sent in, a liar and overall has zero customer service. She does not listen to customers, she has absolutely no idea what she's talking about. She also contact my doctor and lied to them saying I came in there intoxicated. She thought that was going to get me in trouble with my rehabilitation center but she failed. She refused to give me the medication that was prescribed to me by my rehab center, which is how she knew to call them and make up a lie that I came in they're intoxicated. Shame on you! My doctor sent in the prescription on December 22. I received a phone call and a text message that the prescription was delayed. When I called this morning to see if it was still delayed all she wanted to do was go back-and-forth with me about how many days my prescription was for. my prescription was for 15 days (today was the 15th day) and she kept telling me that it was for 60 days. They quality was 60 at 4 pills a day. That's a 15 day supply. She wouldn't stop over speaking me on the phone and then she just hung up the phone. Then when I go there I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager and she with her same nasty attitude said that's me and pointed to her backwards name tag. She still didn't want to provide any customer service and said "oh look I can show you your profile you have no pending prescriptions". She deleted it. The voicemail is in the photo of the delayed medication I inquired about. She is the same way to all customers. All the negative reviews about this pharmacy on google are because of her. She has no business handling the public's medications or have access to call prescribers to LIE one patients. She should be removed from her position promptly! One day she might refuse someone medications that could result in a death due to her unethical behavior, lack of customer service and education on her duty as a pharmacist. read more

I wish I could give it NO STARS. Rude LAZY staff. I have had several awful experiences with this pharmacy. I will have to transfer to another. It seems it has only been in the last 6 months they have 100% downhill. From sending me e-mails saying my prescriptions were ready, but were not when I went there. My husband had just had a root canal done, and was in very much pain, and they said he could not wait to have his pain medication filled, he didn't ask for immediate service, but they said he could NOT WAIT. Tonight I went in close to closing time, the pharmacist was having an extended conversation with the person in front of me because they filled her prescription incorrectly, after waiting in line for a while I noticed a staff member leaning on the other cash register I said can you help me? and she said no we are closed. Why didn't they say something while I was in line? I say STAY away from this location!!! read more

Walgreens Pharmacy has terrible customer service. The pharmacist had the audacity to say "Ma'am I think you heard what I said. I spoke plain English." I understood what he said but I was confused as to why a prescription wasn't ready for pick up and I asked for clarification. I WAS BORN IN AMERICA and I am CAUCASIAN. Of course I speak ENGLISH. We had not been to this location since it went from Rite Aid to Walgreens and since we were in the area decided to stop in and browse. We don't use their pharmacy, so I can't comment on that service but the store had some interesting merchandise. While I was looking in the cosmetic section, which was well stocked and nicely organized, Rich wandered around a bit. He found a rack of Maryland t-shirts and showed me a really cute one with a crab motif. At first I said no, I didn't need any more t-shirts but when he said it was only $6.00, well why not! With winter and pretty much constant dry heat I'm always looking for moisturizing creams. They have a really nice selection of Cerave and they also carry Boots No. 7 products. The few people that were in the store when we got there had already left so there was no line at the check-out. Not sure I would make a special trip there (it's kind of a pain to get to, involving u-turns for us), but plenty of parking and neat and clean so maybe in if we're in the area again. read more

Not at all happy with my service! I loved it when it was a Rite Aid. Personalized service and my prescriptions were filled on time. When I would go in, after the change, the lines were long, the staff barely made eye contact and their staff was very cold...almost rude. The final straw was when I went in to have a special order prescription filled. I waited over a week and was given excuse after excuse. I finally gave up. I went to the Giant and it was filled within 24 hours. I miss Rite Aid but I guess this is progress. read more

RE: 13307 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD I first shopped online to determine if Walgreens had the products I wanted. It had most - two were buy one get on free, one was 25% off, two had coupons. In order to use the coupons, I needed a myWalgreens account. Since I did not have and I'd have to go to the store anyway, I took note of the products and discounts and headed to the store. At the checkout, only one of the buy one get one free products was credited. No other discounts or coupons were credited. I first asked for the coupon credit. I signed up for myWalgreens so I qualified for the discount. The two employees said I needed to download the app. I told them, I wasn't going to download the app. It states on the web that I needed myWalgreens account for the coupon and I have one. After some back and forth, he said it would show on up the store's records as miscellaneous. And your point is? The other employee told him to give me the credit. There was a 25% discount for one of the products if you purchase online only, but there were others that were not specific to online purchase only - another buy one get one free, and another coupon. I decided not to argue credit for the buy one get one free discount or the coupon and I walked out empty handed. read more

The pharmacist Tewodros E. Woldemariam, PHARMD, that took my call for my prescription inquiry was incredibly rude and ignorant. His customer service is atrocious; he has a smart mouth; and he needs to be trained in dealing with the public. He made it a point of not helping because he was getting ready to go to lunch. People dealing with medical issues should not have to deal with ignorant jerks when they call to get information on their prescription(s). read more
