The photo center "need help?" button has been broken, so when no workers are around, it takes forever to get help. I hadn't had any issues my photo orders before, but when I ordered a magnet, it had multiple black marks printed on it. Luckily, I was able to get it replaced when I brought it in to show them. I was handed the new magnet without anything done on the computer to transact or cancel it because it didn't require payment, so I kept getting emails to pick up the order. Maybe I should have cancelled the new order after, but I didn't know. I feel like the photo worker could/should have done something. There's been certain products I've wanted to buy multiples of, but they didn't have enough in stock. It's annoying when I order things for pick up and need to meet the minimum, but they don't have enough items I want. It also took a while for them to restock. The prices (just like with any other Walgreens) are outrageously high. I would only shop here with rewards and/or a discount/sale. read more

Easily located right off the freeway and on the main street, but this poor store has gone downhill. It's totally rundown. I was not acknowledged when I entered. The cashier. I notice is only acknowledging people and putting her phone down when she has someone come up to her at the counter. I definitely won't be back not to mention very slim pickings. They have almost nothing and clearly they don't restock or re-order there's something wrong with this store. I don't know if it's the management or the corporation but this is a stay away. Do not go to location not to mention as I pulled up in the parking lot there was someone in a wheelchair that was hunched over for about six minutes blocking Elaine and Cars just drove around her. I went to call 911 to let them be aware. She was probably in a drug overdose or some type of health Major concern but then she snapped out of it all of a sudden and slowly Rose up if she's still there when I leave, I will call 911 back. This place is about a solid meh that you could find. It's your average Walgreens which means there's maybe two employees working and a 99% empty store personally, I do not see how they're still in business but at least they have a good selection of over the counter supplements and drugs in a fair price and the store is air conditioned which is very nice in the summer. And the usual selection of greeting cards, not many toys left for the kids and a very limited selection say two aisles of groceries. Not much else to say except that it's just outside the city limit of Seattle so they will not add the sugar tax if you buy sugared sodas or Gatorade. read more

Currently researching methods to file formal complaints in regards to this pharmacy. This pharmacy refuses to pick up the phone and there is no way to send them an online message so if your prescription has a problem you are out of luck. I'm going to Contact Walgreens corporation , the Better Business Bureau and try to see what the FDA can do. If the pharmacy is incapable of picking up the phone, then they should have that on their voicemail . That's not what happens you will get put on hold for over a half an hour and then disconnected. It's not an isolated incidents. It is a reoccurring issue. The photo department is always a mess at the 175th location. Over the years I've placed so many orders for same day pick up giving ample time and orders are rarely ever ready same day. Despite getting emails and texts of pick up times, it's never ready. I get that things happen, communicate with the customer. Don't just wait for us to take our time to go to the store and disappoint us. I placed my order around 6 with a pick up time of 7pm. My husband went just before closing (8:45pm) and was told our order is not ready, and that "We've been busy" as an excuse. Look, I've been busy too! It's so frustrating every time. I asked what time my order was received thinking maybe they got it later and that might be part of the hold up. Nope! I got placed on a 10 minute hold and passed off to someone else to give me another runaround excuse. Only for her to tell me my order was received at 6pm. Almost 3 hours prior! Just stop advertising for same day pick up and providing a pick up time in the email! If orders are behind, be gracious enough to give the customer a call. Do better! read more

The pharmacy never answers their phone. You get put on hold for maybe a hour and the waiting calls count never declines. When you call and ask for store management then someone goes to the pharmacy and maybe they pick up. Then you are told "we were busy". Walgreens is Not in the business of dispensing medications. If it was urgent one would be dead a long time I am moving to Costco Pharmacy. They answer! read more

Annoying was having to go from the photo center into another, much longer line to "pay" for my free photos. Pharmacy is simply and consistently the worst. Every month something is an issue. Every refill is delayed. I've had my Dr office send the refill twice, them confirm they got it, confirmed they ordered, then it doesn't get filled and they say Dr never sent it. It is simply a comedy of ineptitude. Do not get your vaccination shot here. Even though I scheduled in advance, I still had to wait 1/2 hour. The gal jabbed the needle in deep and it hurt so bad. The technician was incredulous when I told her I had never experienced pain from a vaccine shot before (flu or Covid). I'm sure she used a needle that was too long and wasn't careful about the placement of the shot. She clearly had no expertise in this. I'll never go here again for any other vaccinations. read more

In recent years, the past 5-10 years, I have taken to giving picture-related presents for holidays and birthdays. This Walgreens has a photo center that works in partnership with the online service Snapfish which I use when ordering prints. I will upload photos/pictures online and then I can order prints of different sizes from the online service for pick-up in store. This is where I come to pick them up. The photo center counter is on the right hand side straight back once you enter the store, so it is easy to find. If someone is not at the counter, they have a button you can press to get assistance. Depending on the size of the order (that is number of and size of prints) and time of day the order is placed I have found my prints can be ready in anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours. If you place an online order for a calendar you can also pick them up here. Those may take a little longer, but I have always been happy with the final product. One of the neat aspects of having pictures ready in 20 minutes is that if I am in a creative mode or creativity strikes I can get a few pictures printed as a trial run to see how the size of print fits the pictures. Then I can take and adjust the final product or present I am making and order a bigger batch of pictures. The most recent present I crafted in this manner was a seven month endeavor. Thinking forwards towards the holidays, this helps for avoiding the chaos of Black Friday and keeping Thanksgiving about family time and giving thanks. In addition to the photo center, my mom and I pick-up miscellaneous supplies including snacks on occasion from this store. read more

Pulled up to the pharmacy drive thru window at 12:17 for a prescription that was supposed to be ready after 11:00. No one responded, looked, or said anything when we rang the bell. Waited three minutes then decided to go inside. Several people were sitting in the waiting area but again, no one seemed to be working. Eventually someone wandered forward and called someone's name. We got their attention about our prescription and they told us it might take a few minutes. It was 12:37 by the rime we got out of there. 20 minutes to pick up a prescription. The weirdest part was the checked-out manner of the pharmacy. Almost an anti-customer service vibe. Minimal communication. While sitting inside someone else's drive up to the drive thru window. Bell dinged as they drove up, then they pushed the service button so it rang again. They finally rapped on the window and got someone's attention. All very odd and ghostly in there. read more

The pharmacy seriously needs help. I have had prescriptions dispense as written and they attempt to give me other medication, they give partially filled prescriptions (missing pills) that I don't discover until I get home and there is no explanation. They say they order medications and that it will arrive in 2 days and never arrives. I have two medications I had to stop taking for three weeks because they kept saying it was ordered. My doctors have had to re-call in prescriptions because of their errors so many times that I had to change pharmacies. It's close, but not worth the frustration I was going through every month, check everything before you leave. Unbelievable. Stood in line thirty minutes to get flu and COVID shot. One woman working behind counter extremely slow. My turn came and she wouldn't process me because I was unable to to download the app on my phone to sign in. She would not help me with that. I left. Totally inept at the job. Not helpful. I have been a customer of Walgreens Pharmacy for over 20 years ... most of that time was at the Walgreens at 175th and 15th Shoreline ... and the service there was always amazingly efficient and friendly. When that store was closed a couple of years ago, everything was transferred to the Walgreens at 175th and Aurora. Sadly, the service at 175th and Aurora has deteriorated and the employees now just seem short-handed, overwhelmed and stressed-out. Here's an Example: Last Saturday (8/21/21) I went there in mid-afternoon: there were 5 cars waiting at the drive-thru and three groups of customers were waiting at the inside counter to either pick up meds or get Covid vaccines. There were only TWO employees in the entire pharmacy ... and neither was the pharmacist. One was at the drive-thru window (and she spent over 30 minutes searching for a single prescription and trying to decipher prescription bottles) and the other was helping a growing line of customers at the inside counter. After waiting for about 40 minutes in the line for the inside counter (and I was just about to reach the front of the line), the employee who was at the drive-thru window just WALKED OUT ... leaving only the one person there to handle everything! I eventually received my prescription. But today I realized that my medical insurance had not been applied. I called Walgreens and the outgoing message informed me there were 3 callers ahead of me. I waited on hold for about 40 minutes. When I finally got through to someone, I explained what had happened and after several minutes of confusion on the employee's part, he put me on hold. After another 15 minutes of being on hold, my call was just terminated. I called back and received the out-going message that there were 5 calls ahead of me. I didn't wait. And I haven't heard back from the employee who was supposed to be solving my problem. This pharmacy is chaotic house-of-cards just waiting to collapse. Very, very sad... read more

Waited over an hour for a covid shot. Checked in with the QR code on the sign at the pharmacy. Clearly it didn't work. People were getting their shots before me as they actually went to the counter. Short staffed. Pharmacist at the drive up window told a pt in the car she should be more understanding and not to expect her prescription pronto and she was told to leave out of the drive up window and the Pharmacist hung up on her!! Similar to many others the pharmacy had been my issue. But that said, it's not an issue they had. I find them kind. I find them helpful. I find them interested in finding way to save me money. And I appreciate all of that. I fully understand that syringes are controlled, that drug addiction and stuff exists. But if you have a valid Rx from my doctor for numerous valid medical reasons for me to have them: just do your job and fill the Rx. Nothing else is your business. you are my pharmacy and while I appreciate your services: I find your self-importance in your service overbearing. And your questions of 'what are you using them for?' don't use this Walgreens's pharmacy if you want to get your meds fast.. I just sat in the drive through and waited 30 minutes before they acknowledged me. they are ALWAYS slow and it seems they are SUPER apathetic. waiting inside for the pharmacy is worse. I switched my prescriptions to walgreens from QFC when Kroger stopped accepting Express Scripts. This pharmacy is the absolute worst. I went in this Walgreens a few days ago, and had to walk out because staff refused to enforce the statewide mask policy. Yes, this is a pharmacy that refuses to enforce a public health policy. The staff instead refuses to ask multiple shoppers to put on a mask or leave and then defends the maskless shoppers. I'm really annoyed. I have used Walgreens for years. There's been issues but nothing worth reviewing or remembering lol. Luckily they've always been pretty quick at filling scripts no matter the location I went to. Except today. They had my prescription for 6+ hours and it wasn't ready (not sure why, I called and they just said it'd be ready in a few minutes. It still took another hour.) until 15 minutes before closing. Now due to this I will have to wait until tomorrow to get something I really could've used today because by the time I get my kid loaded up in the car and drive there, they'll be closed. I have had to go without my asthma medication for a week as this location is so profoundly understaffed that each of the three times I've attempted to pick up my prescription, I've left after a half hour of waiting in an unmoving line. I understand that vaccinations and testing take time, but there needs to be a dedicated indoor line for these services. I've seen elderly people standing for huge amounts of time trying to get their meds, only to leave in frustration. I'm transferring all my prescriptions to a more efficient pharmacy. read more

I called this Walgreens for an emergency purchase. They were able to confirm they had the product in a timely matter. My first impression of the store is that it is very clean. The product on the self is well organized as well. They have a lot to offer in this specific location. Not so bad! I typically dread going to chain pharmacies but the staff here were nice and the wait was less than 15 mins. I like that they had an intercom to call out the patient's name when their order was up because I was lost among the aisles looking at candy and nail polish. The store itself is bright, clean, and seems pretty new. Plenty of parking in the lot as well. You can't go wrong with a nice clean store, nice employees and free parking. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had to visit. They never have a wait time less then 20 minutes. They nearly always have only 1 or 2 of the three prescriptions that are ordered. They make you wait in line for 10-15 minutes and then they close for lunch break and tell you to come back later. Terrible service, terrible management. I've had it. I was seriously in need of some medication for sore throat. On my way to lunch with my friends, I stopped by here. Parking is easy. The store is very clean. It's very easy to find the pharmacy section. I was able to find the medication for sore throat in 3 minutes. While I was waiting to pay, the cashier can only take care of one customer. Then Kim, the pharmacy tech, to me that I was wrong and no one had called me. She made me pull out my phone so she could hear the voicemail. After that she didn't offer an apology just said she would fill it. She was rude and I never want to have to deal with them. This pharmacy is a joke. I have had NOTHING but problems getting my medicine filled. The first time I had 4 refills left and went in to get my meds refilled and the woman kept saying that I had no refills though both the app and the phone kept giving me the options to refill. Because the medicine that I'm getting is a controlled substance I would have to drive to downtown Seattle to pick up my physical prescription if I needed another. I called my doctor and was told because I had 4 refills left I couldn't get another prescription. I work 3 jobs and due to being away from my home for a few days I was finally able to get home and get my medicine box. I brought it back and showed them I had 4 refills. They apologized and told me that I would have to wait a few days since they were out of my meds. I said ok and left. The next day I got a call telling me my prescription was ready. I was surprised but happy that it came in so quick. I drove down after getting off work. I spoke with a woman in the pharmacy as she was helping me and explain that due to switching jobs recently, I don't have health insurance. That's when I was told the only part that was ready was the needles not the medicine (the more important part). I asked if it was still being sent in and the woman checked. She told me that my refill date was expired by 2 days and that because of that I would have to go get another prescription. Of course I was upset. I explained that I had been in there days before trying to get this situation figured out and that because of their mess up that's why the date had expired. The woman I spoke with didn't seem to care at all. I explained how important it was to get my medicine and how without it I suffer a lot of emotional and physical issues. Again, no emotion. After explaining my problem and how it was caused by the previous issue, the woman I was talking to made a suggestion since it was late Friday evening and my doctor is closed for the weekend: go to urgent care and get a new prescription. After I just said I DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE. I ended up leaving without my medicine (god forbid it be something that keeps me alive) and suffered until I could finally get in to see my doctor (due to my circumstance I have to see a specialty doctor) who was booked out for 3 weeks. Now I go in to get my medicine for a surgery that is approaching and I am being told (even though there is nothing on the perception that says a date) that I have to wait until the day before my surgery to get my medicines. I work the day before and have meds I have to take in the evening leading up to the day. After expressing this, another pharmacy worker stepped in and seemed to have gotten everything figured out but then I was told that they were going to "hold on" to my prescription and "work on it tomorrow". There is 3 hours till the pharmacy closes. Why can't you work on it now? Also I expressed multiple times that the medicine was for me and was still asked, also suspiciously, if the medicines were for me. I get that Percocets are controller substances but I have a prescription for them RIGHT in front of you and being told to come back later when I work ALL THE TIME is an inconvenience. Seriously, go to another Walgreens or choose a different pharmacy all together. read more

This location of Walgreens is just the best. I often visit it when I am in town visiting my parents. The cashiers are always so welcoming and helpful. Often they suggest coupon savings when I'm not paying attention to the savings that are offered. Even though it is a very busy drug store near public transportation, the store is always clean and orderly. My senior parents use their pharmacy and receive care above and beyond any pharmacy in the area. They often get calls from the pharmacists there to inquire about prescription refills or to help them with insurance issues. They even get calls from the pharmacist checking up on how their medications are working for them. My parents have received news from their supplemental insurance company that as of Jan 1, 2018 Walgreens will not be their preferred pharmacy anymore so they will need to switch to another local area pharmacy. They know they won't receive such personalized service once they switch but I hope they can switch back at a later date. Thank you 175th and Aurora Walgreens- you are like an old fashioned small town pharmacy and a great resource for the Shoreline residents. read more
