The worst Walgreens ever takes like 30 minutes to get a prescription. Garbage service

Terrible customer service! Always short staffed.. very long lines in store and on phone for questions not answered by the automated phone service. Right now.. On hold for 50 minutes on the phone and still waiting (all this time "Your call is next one to be answered" I have had it. I am going to transfer the prescriptions. Worst pharmacy in the world. I have a very sick kid who is dependent on a few prescription med's. This pharmacy constantly screws up and causes delays etc. I am on hold AGAIN right now for the 4th time in two days. I have not gotten a live person in all four attempts. I should not have to drive there and stand in line to find out what they have screwed up now. I need to switch but am waiting until I get new written Rx's as I know they will botch the transfers. Walgreens mgmt, do you not care when there are soooo many negative comments about the same store. You should fire the entire staff and start over, or just knock the place over and call it quits. read more

I recently moved to SJ and thought it would be great to have a pharmacy that is open 24 hrs. It is a complete joke. The pharmacy personnel are abrupt, take forever to do anything even though there are 6-8 of them, and never have anything nice to say. The late night pharmacist is extremely rude and could care less what you think. I am switching asap. read more

Don't waste your time rushing here from the emergency room for the 24 hour pharmacy, because the pharmacy is NOT open 24 hours. After driving 20 minutes straight from the emergency room in significant pain to get here at 1 am, the extremely rude woman behind the counter told me "Sorry I'm busy. Come back at 9 am tomorrow." (By the way, not one other person appeared to be waiting for prescriptions.) And no one comes here at 1am for a prescription unless they need it NOW. I will never patronize any part of this store again. read more

Nothing has changed in quality of service at the Pharmacy. I've had multiple prescriptions lost as well. Unless you go at 2 am there is always a 20 minute wait. This is very hard on the elderly, handicapped, and the ill. I recently sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes without ANYONE being helped. Thanks to the curb and hedges we were all trapped in the line. I finally went in and got a manager. On 1/29 I complained about another lost prescription. 45 minutes after I left a charge of almost $100 was made on my ATM card. I have filed a police report. Best to go elsewhere. There's a Long's just across the street. read more

Around the whole store they have flyers for immunization shots, but they certainly don't keep them in stock. Don't bother calling them to see if they have the shot you want cause they will lie to you on the phone. Go to the Walgreens on Kooser for better service read more

I am DONE with Walgreens pharmacy! They take 4-5 business days just to refill, even with refills available. If they need to call the doctor, it's like 2 weeks. Then you get a call saying if you don't pick it up, they're putting it back - sheesh, how about a FIRST call saying it's ready? There isn't a complete brain between all the people that work there. If you choose the Drive Thru, good luck, better bring a meal and some magazines. I signed up because I have two preschoolers and thought Drive Thru would save me time. Forget it. The wait is so long that they're fussing, screaming, bored out of their minds - I'm switching to Target, Walgreens is not worth it! read more

I wanted to a propane tank and it was a long ordeal. Just go to a hardware store. This place is bad news with lazy employees.

i bought an ipod charger there today and some cigarettes the employs were saying the mens bathroom was out of service ." LYING TO ME" ? so i let that go with no arguing, nearly urinating in my pants. I submitted an order to enlarge 4 photos. They called me and said it was ready for pick up. When I get here, there are only 3 pictures. I asked Aris, if they can print the 4th one while I wait. He said, "sorry it's no longer in our system. Please resubmit the order for the 4th one and then we can we do it". So basically make another trip to pick it up. Such bullshit! They mess up and I'm the one who has to be inconvenienced. They should store the pics in the system until the customer picks up the order and is Satisfied. read more

Never get your photos developed here 0_0 It took them over 3 days to develop a single roll of color film. The best part was, every time I would go in to pick them up, they still wouldn't have them ready! They were incompetent, and seemed highly disorganized. It should've taken less than 4 hours for them to develop and print all the pictures. Ridiculous. read more

The service here at night, Mon.-Fri. is terrible! I waited 15 minutes inside the store for a prescription and then made the mistake of going into the drive-thru lane and ended up waiting 38 minutes! When I got to the window my prescription was not ready and was told I had to come inside to speak to the pharmacist. I asked why when I've talked to the pharmicist many times in the past at the drive-in window. Jesus, the manager, told me instantly that I was holding up the line and he would call the police! Needless to say, I was shocked. I went inside, got my prescription and left. I will be contacting the regional manager tomorrow and will pull my prescriptions and take my business elsewhere. Don't go there in the evening, this guy's nuts. read more

Only go here if you want to wait 30 minutes or more for your prescription--no matter the time of day. Also, when I switched pharmacies they refused to transfer my prescriptions no matter how many requests were received. read more

The worst pharmacy that I have ever encountered. They never answer their phone and they pass erroneous medical information amongst themselves in a free text field on their computer system. They guess at your diagnoses based on your prescriptions and freely display it to any employee that can run a cash register. They are practicing bad medicine without the license or even the education required to obtain one. read more

It says pharmacy is open 24 hours but actually it is not. They have there own hrs according to the pharmacist convenience . If it says 25 hrs it should be 24 hrs. Non one care about the patients or there need. This is bad as someone might be in need of an urgent medication but I guess they don't care. Literally the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to in my life. I can't figure out if it's just that it's understaffed, poorly staffed, poorly managed or some combination of all of those problems. Pharmacy is a joke. People come here because they are sick. There are three co-workers behind the counter taking their sweet time as if the people on the other side aren't in enough pain. The main reason people would come here is because of the 24 hr pharmacy. This store has a smaller footprint than other Walgreens, but that may allow staff to handle any late night visitors in a more constrained location. The aisles are shorter and beverage section is minimized. Staff is pretty good since they know you are primarily here for pharmacy. If you need to stop in to get a few items, this location may not be able to address all of your needs. read more

Slowest pharmacy ever! Waited at the drive thru for over 30 minutes. There were only two cars ahead of me. Then when I get to the window, they tell me my order still hasn't been filled and it would be another 10-15 minutes. So I park and go inside to wait. Only one person ahead of me and it still took another 15 minutes to get my prescription. Outrageous! read more

This place is very slow. It takes a long time to get your prescriptions filled. The last time I was here I had just given them my insurance. I was told to return about an hour later. When I returned they did not process my order because "they had my old insurance" though I had just presented the new one. They could have called me to verify. At least a smile would be nice. Go to the Target pharmacy down the street they are faster and nicer. read more

This particular Walgreens gets 3 stars for: 1) being open 24 hours 2) having a very friendly grave shift cashier. (I don't know her name, but she always makes me feel WELCOME. 3) being clean and nicely stocked with stuff for compulsive late night shoppers (a little pricey sometimes-but who cares if all I am in there for is to get a prescription filled. 4) actually having a 24 hr drive through window. This Walgreens *may* have received 5 stars if: The pharmacist on the graveyard shift could mind her own Business when it comes to the details of filling a "c" type scrip. (controlled) Never mind that whiskey and vodka will do you in a whole lot faster than a little white pill that falls in to the "c" category, which means you have to convince the pharmacist "Scrip Police" that you are In Compliance with each and every one of the 3,476,231.5 Federal, State, City, STORE, and the Pharmacist's Own "Personal Preference Based Upon Educated Evaluation With Intent to Keep Safe: the Patient, the Patient's spouse, significant other, Any Children Around (even if they are Not Yours), pets, and the Environment. Said Pharmacist has been trained in "Scrip Cop" protocol. Whether She uses these protocols for the Patient's benefit means little to her. The point is, she is Compelled to ask for highly personal information, on down to the 'inner circumference of the Patient's Anal Sphincter.WiIfm she does not receive the correct answers to the series of questions she fires off to the Patient, the Scrip Cop is Authorized to withhold the medication (even if the Patient just had a knee replacement done four hours ago. Last of all, one side of the store doorway is blocked by a graceful curving row of Interlocked Shopping Carts to funnel all foot traffic through one entrance (deterring the occasional 'beer run' (literally). The front entrance and parking lot are kept clean by a team consisting of a 'vacuum cleaner truck' and one of those guys with a 'power motor' on his back. And yes, there are always the panhandlers and lunatics out front until they are shooed away. read more

F-this place. 10-15 min easily turns to 45min. They say they will call your name when it's ready but never do. You have to go up going to the counter to harass them to get your Meds. And for some reason my insurance card didn't work there because it didn't have an Rx number but it magically seems to work at every other pharmacy I've taken it to in the past. read more

I have been coming here for years as it is the closest pharmacy and open 24 hours. It is the slowest purchase experience ever!!! Doesn't matter if you go inside or use the drive thru. You Will wait. If you're lucky your prescription will be correct and ready!!! :-/. If you call your Dr. Prior to filling a prescription, and have them call it in, they still don't get it right or have it ready. This place is AWEFUL!!! Not to mention the automated calls and emails that my prescription is ready for pick up only to arrive and find out it is delayed and it is because my Dr. didn't call it in!!! Bull!!!! I've been on the phone with both parties and it's all set to be filled. However, Walgreens doesn't do their part. FAIL. read more

Talk about customer service! I've been going to this Walgreens for my prescriptions for a year or so. It's always efficient, they're very helpful in figuring out my insurance coverage and refilling prescriptions is quick and EASY. They're great but today I had an experience today that prompted me to write a review. I just picked up my prescription from the drive through window. I usually go inside and it was my first time using the drive through. I was on my way to run some errands and had my dog with me. I pulled up, pressed the call button and waited just a few moments before a pharmacy tech responded. She was polite, efficient and got me in and out in less than three minutes. What made this a five star review was that she noticed my puppy in the backseat and handed over a little dog biscuit with my prescription! I loved the little act of kindness and my dog did too! My prescription was sent by the Doctor early morning, I went in at 5pm was told it would be another hour. At 7:30, I called and was finally told that it was not covered by my insurance! Why wasn't I told when I was at the store or hours previously? Done with them!! read more

I never write about drug stores before, but I'm giving 5 stars because to be honest I come to this one I get amazing customer service. Btw if you need any makeup, facial products or body care products at all definitely go to see Yen at Cosmetic department. She's absolutely fantastic and she will never push products on you that you don't need but she will help you find the one that you are looking for and help you discover items that you didn't know about. I found her to be very helpful and she really knows what she is doing. Highly recommended going to this one for beauty products. read more

2 out of 5 times I've used Walgreens on nights where I close and nothing else it open, I've had something upsetting happen to me. First incident, I bought pizzas from their freezer section, preheated m oven and everything, and when I opened them, they smelled funny and had green stuff melted into the cheese, as if they had been room temperature for a looong time then refrozen. Health safety issue? I called about it and they offered to refund me but it was only 6 bucks so I just let it be, all I wanted was for the option to be offered, so thanks for that. Last night I bought band aids, I hurt my finger and I use my hands at work so I wanted to stock up in that 'tough-strips' brand. Well apparently someone else wanted to stock up too, except they didn't wanna pay for theirs. I get home, open it up, there are 2 band aids in there. How frustrating! And how will I ever prove that?? 24-hour pharmacy is quite slow when you go during off hours but it's the only one open during off hours so expect to wait. I waited an hour and a half when told my medication would be available in 30 minutes. That said, the lady was nice and she was the only person working the pharmacy. I probably would go again if I had to during off hours because it's the only option. But hopefully I won't have to. read more
