Date: Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 How: Instacart Delivery Placed Order at: 9:59am for delivery between 12pm and 3pm Received Order at: 12:13pm I only got one thing. A Monkey Shoulder Scotch Whisky, Blended Malt, The Original, Batch 27 (1.75 L) for $65.99. Original price was $81.99, so I guess it was on sale. Was charged a bag fee of $0.10 even tho I never got a bag. Weird. With Sales Tax being $6.19, Tip at $9.90, Service Fee at $3.50, and Credit/Discount Applied at -$22.00, my Total ended up being $63.68. And with the Sapphire Reserve credit of $15, the grand total ends up being $48.68. Not bad for a 1.75L of scotch. (I do have Instacart+ for free courtesy of a CC, so it cuts down on service fees. Also, if you are not in a hurry to get anything and can do a later window, you can save an additional $2, which is what I did here.) I did check the Bevmo website to see if prices on Instacart were higher and they were not, so it's worth it to get it delivered if Instacart is having a promo. The bottle would have been $65.99 +tax if I went in person, so I shaved some time and gas! Tho if you have a bevmo account, you would have likely gotten like a $10 coupon. I am not a fan of this BevMo. The service is so horrible. Today, the cashier was trying to say the military ID has the birthday. Because my dad was going to get out his license but accidentally brought out his ID. (He served 30 years in the navy) The cashier kept assisting that it shows your birthday on the back of the ID. Aisles are small and can't make your way through with the over-wide carts. Shelves were empty and not much of a variety. Prices were more than th local grocery stores. BevMo is a good company, but this location has severe shortage of personnel on the floor or behind the register. There have now been multiple times I've gone in and they have no one to help with the cabinets and only one person for the registers during a busy Christmas and pre New Years traffic. Let's just say I placed the items back and found a liquor store that I was willing to pay a little more just so I can get in and out. Ordered two items, one much higher value than the other, both showed as in stock per Bevmo. Added a 15% tip for the driver. BevMo messaged to say the high price item was not in stock after and would be refunded, but offered no option to substitute or cancel the order. They ended up delivering just the low price item, but did not adjust the tip amount to reflect the refunded item they canceled on me. Without the adjustment, the effective tip on this order was more than 50% - something Bevmo decided for me by offering no substitution or cancellation opportunity. Contacted customer service for help, have had no response. So one star. read more

Wow... the service here was way beyond my expectations. I was a bit nervous walking in because I didn't know what the items looked like - I only had a list of names. I had 30 min to run in and grab items for a party. I walked in and one gentleman , Damian helped me to find several items. He was so friendly and helpful. Then Ryland, then Thyrong (sorry if I misspelled his name) and then Eric. There were 3 others that helped or offered in a span of 30 min (but I didn't capture their names). Hands down the best customer service and attitudes I've seen in a long time. Clean, organized and well labeled. Prices were very similar to Costco with a lot more options. I am sold. A pretty good BevMo overall. It's across the street from the mall so you'll be safe from that hustle. Plenty of good choices, but a tad more expensive than Total Wine. Still, I believe in BevMo as they have been doing a great job for years. They can even get drinks that the other chains can't sometimes. Overall, another solid experience. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Came here twice and both times was a horrible experience. The girl who rang us up(a LEAD BEVMOLOGIST) seem to lack any sort of manners. While ringing us up, she turned to her coworker and started making bad remarks about a customer in the aisle beside us who seem to be having an issue with their cashier as well. She then had difficulties pulling up our BevMo membership card and so we decided to just sign up again. Once done, she literally threw the card at us on the counter and didn't say a word. We stood there in shock because we did absolutely nothing wrong and were polite the entire time. Please BevMo, promote and hire your staff wisely. Coming to Bevmo is always so fun. I like to look at all the different beers and soda pops that come from all parts of the world. Bevmo was the first place I saw that sold Kriek cherry lambic beer from Belgium. They also sell caviar, wine, glassware, alcohol related gifts like wine bags and stone ice cubes or shakers and kegs. They have some great deals on wine where it's buy one get the 2nd for a penny. My dad comes here all the time to stock up on his wine. read more

The staff is so inefficient and rude at this location! I purchased a bottle of Clase Azul, $175 and ordered for curbside. They took forever! I had to call twice to tell them I was there and I was in my pick up window. The person that brought out the bottle was clearly annoyed. The worst part, when I got home and looked at the bottle I noticed the bottom of the box was wet and you could smell the tequila. I returned it today and received nothing but attitude. The sales rep said he couldn't do anything and called the manager. The manager was just as rude! She asked what she wanted me to do with the leaking bottle. Really?! For $175 I want a full bottle, not leaking and not cracked. She noticed the bottle on the bottom had a large crack but couldn't help herself from blaming me for cracking it, twice. She really had to say it twice. She was very unprofessional. I'll go to another location in the future or to another vendor all together. I've been in some form of customer service for 35 years. Never had a problem with good customer service at this location! People always ask if I need help finding something. I do admit I've heard stories about them being strict about young looking customers needing to show ID (so sad I don't look young anymore...) but I think that's a great policy to avoid minors getting their hands on alcohol. My husband and I scored awesome buy 1 get the 2nd one for 5 cents deals on $50 wine bottles!! I also am a Bevmo member and had a 20% off entire purchase coupon so we walked away with more than 50% off our purchase. read more

Over the past summer 2014, I bought a kegerator. Once it was set up and ready, I came to this location to get a keg. Unknowingly what keg of brew that I wanted, the "beer guy" allowed me access to the walk-in where the beer kegs are stored. My first question, "What do I want 5 gallons of??" I ended up bring home Racer 5... YUMMY!!! While checking out my keg, I did have to fill out some paper work... Renting a Keg.. Deposit. Usually $40 dollars.. Just keep your copy of the receipt. Bring it with the empty keg when you return it. It does take a few extra minutes. But nothing like fresh kegged beer! Awesome place to purchase adult beverages! I come hear at least 1-2 times a week for "supplies" lol. Convenient spot right by Oakridge and hwy 87 where the old Tower Records used to be. The place has it all, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, mixers, and snacks to boot! You can get help picking wine to match an occasion or meal, kegs are available along with a good selection of microbrew! Parking is always abundant, the lines are typically short, and the price beats any supermarket or liquor store. I mean what more can you ask for? Oh and they also do wine/beer tasting with food pairing on certain dates that are normally posted at the entrance, dont miss out cause its normally under $5 or even free at times! Mitsuwa apparently. I was bummed to see their sake section was the smallest booze section in the store. Many of the selections they had were A. Entirely out of stock B. Still in a taped shut case on the floor in front of the shelves C. Only have two in stock and both seals on the bottles are broken Bummer. :( I asked if that section was all they had and let them know that the kind of sake I wanted only had two in stock and both seals were broken. The guy asked me to show him which ones and seemed very concerned. I brought him over to the bottles thinking he was going to remove them from the shelves but instead he just picked them up, looked at the broken seal, shifted the lid so it kind of looked like maybe it hadn't been broken, and then placed them both back on the shelf. Which is not the action I wanted to see but I don't work here so I guess I don't know what their policy is but it seems like inventory that's clearly been tampered with should be removed from shelves and not just placed back hoping the next customer doesn't notice. read more

I had to wait over 20 minutes for the order to come out at curb side after I was hung up on the first time and rudely spoken to the second time when the phone was answered. After waiting, the worker didn't say anything to me about making me wait for so long or being hung up on. They handed me my order and left immediately just to see that the bottle was cracked on the bottom and leaking tequila everywhere. When my brother went to exchange the bottle , another worker wasn't helpful at all and told me "what do you want me to do with this?" Then I asked for the manager and she said the same thing. She refused to look up my order with the order number provided and said it wasn't broken until after I showed her where it was cracked and then she proceeded to say as I walked out "make sure I don't set it down too hard" and my brother ignored the MANAGER the first time and then she said it again just to get a reaction out of me. This BevMo! location at Blossom Hill closes a bit later than most booze specialty stores, including stores of its own chain. It was a little out of the way but we had something to celebrate so we said, what the heck? and ended up here. We were helped by a nice younger male who really knew his alcohol, specifically the whiskeys. He was able to make suggestions based on what we were looking for and gave really good descriptions of each one. The store was pretty easy to navigate, but the prices here were shocking. We were going to buy the JW Green Label, but saw it was much, much cheaper elsewhere and decided to leave it at the store and purchase elsewhere instead (Somewhere around like a $15 difference.) Same with the pricetag on the Laguvulin, big price markup here! So, although the service alone deserves 5 stars... Well.. The prices are really just outrageous.. Maybe another time! read more

Do not give this place your business if you want your privacy rights respected. First off, you have to register with them to purchase anything. They are a public business, so this is BS, but OK, simply lie about your name, address, and phone number. Secondly, they require your ID to be scanned, even if you are obviously over 21... No Joke. The cashier questioned me several times in disbelief when I told her I did not want my ID scanned. The judgmental lip and body language was frustrating to say the least. She said she needed managerial approval. Annoying, but Fine. Manager shows up. He looks at me, looks at the ID and says it is store policy to scan ID's. I told him I am clearly over 21 and you can verify the ID in person. There is absolutely no need to scan the ID. The manager refused, stating it was BevMo corporate policy requiring all ID's be scanned. BevMo will no longer have my business because of this. Company's that require this form of intrusive data collection for mundane activities should not be allowed to do this. When your ID is scanned, everything on the ID is being transmitted (home address, age, sex, identifying characteristics, etc...). It is NOT just your DOB. Do not let the store attendant or manager BS you. Even if you trust the store to manage your data in a safe and "respectful" way, what about those who don't respect that trust? Look at Facebook and their recent privacy beach through "developers". Not sharing data is the best way to protect it. DO NOT SHOP HERE! PRIVACY IS A RIGHT. read more

Bevmo = better than Tower Records. Both full of alcoholics. Both full of addicts. Both have occupied the same location at the corner of Santa Theresa and Blossom Hill. But Bevmo is comfortably lacking in the pretentious a-holes department, in which Tower seemed to flourish. The staff is very informed, helpful, and they have a lot "mo" than most Bevmos (which seem to focus on the "Bev"). Not a ton of soda pop (but I did pick up a hilarious ironic-ode-to-the-Soviets lemonade called Leninade). Wine selection is huge, and all the usual suspects were present. BUT they had a much larger than average sake section (nothing your local Nijiya or Mitsuwa won't top, however). And since they just opened, the next few weekends are packed with tastings, pairing lessons, and apparently, visits from Peggy Fleming. WARNING: Excessive consumption of items purchased at Bevmo may lead to shopping next door (at Babies R Us). Be careful. read more

Talk about an alcoholic's HEAVEN! BevMo! has a gigaaantic inventory of various wines, liquor, beers, champagne, and even mixes. I came here this past weekend in search of a particular dessert wine for my parents and after searching two different stores, I finally found what I was looking for here! Initially I attempted to look for the wine on my own, but it was like searching for a needle in a haystack--there were just way too many types and brands of wine. I asked for help and the staff was very eager to help me. I gave them the name of the wine, Robert Mondavi Moscato D'oro, and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They walked me to it's location and made other recommendations as well. They also explained to me what the 'point-scale' for wine meant and what I should expect from each rating. Overall, the customer service was on point and I found what I was looking for and plenty more. I signed up for a 'ClubBev!' savings card and got $5 off one of the wines I purchased. The cashier also told me that they have this huge sale, where you can get one bottle of wine and the second bottle for 5 cents. Isn't that awesome?! The sale happens 3-4 times a year and I know I'll be there when it happens! read more
