My friends and I were out and about and our final destination for the night after the club was at Guildhouse. We wanted to sit and chill somewhere and this place opens late. Unfortunately the kitchen closed already so they only sell alcoholic drinks at the time. The girls and I played card games and left after an hour. This is a pretty cool spot for gamers!

Love coming here! It's suitable for small and large groups. The soju cocktails are all really good, perfect mixture of sweet. I have tried their potato croquettes and it was shockingly good. Didn't expect them to have crispy on the outside and soft on the inside so well done. Staff are all very sweet, I haven't had a bad experience once. There is ton of seating whether you want to hangout, LAN parties, or play board games and much more.

Jameson shot, it's bold and brash flavor brings a spark of joy to the most suicide inducing day, concocted wonderfully by Amber

This place is a great find by my partner and we came here last night after a busy day of festivities. They have such an extensive space to play games and I didn't realize they also have food available here in addition to drinks. We got a sandwich, liquid death and a mocktail! The drinks were refreshing, however, the sandwich was not very good... We played friend sip for 15 minutes or so before transitioning to an improv game. This place is quite busy on a Saturday night and can house several groups of people!

What an incredible place. I went on a random Tuesday while in town and there was still excitement. There was a tekken and 2XKO tournament happening, so i mostly stood around and watched that. But there were board games, consoles, and PCs to be used too! In the back they were having a big social deduction game and in the side area, plenty of groups playing card games and TTRPGs like D&D. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich and the Johnny Silverhand cocktail. They were pretty quick on the sandwich too. Everything came out delicious and i really enjoyed the drink. I look forward to the next time I'm in the area

The space is enormous and full of activities. This is a great place to invite a group or maybe a village. You will find all sorts of board games, cocktails, and bar foods to satiate your appetite. The bartenders and servers are very attentive and keep the space clean. Highly recommend this spot if you are new in town or a local wanting to host a game night.

    Venue

Venue is a great home for all types of gamers! Competitive or casual or just a great time snacking on the foods and drinks at the bar and a great community. Free entry, open areas, very good to spend time watching random tournaments going on by locals and those who fly in for tournaments. Love this spot being someone who went to SJSU and revisit at least 2-3 times a year

It's a very spacious area for having fun with friends. Bar and snacks available were tasty. Service is prompt with making drinks and keeping the tables around tidy. Plenty of table top games to play and gaming systems to use. One of my top hangout spots in DTSJ

An event space made for the gamer in us! TV set ups for Nintendo switch gaming, with devices ready for gaming. Plenty of PC rigs for high level gaming. Friendly staff with lots of accommodation! It's about $20 per hour to use the TVs if you want to connect your own controllers. Just keep in mind that the drink are a bit expensive & watered down/not strong. But I'll definitely be back for the games part.

    Ask the Community - Guildhouse

What time does the kitchen and bar close?

Well that depends, usually about 10 to 11.

Are there private rooms for rent and if so how much? Do you offer discounts for student/military/other?

Hi Jon! We offer both full-venue buyouts and smaller rental solutions perfect for holiday, birthday and corporate parties. Please visit our website…

Can I bring my own peripherals for PC gaming? More specifically my own mouse.

Yes you can! Just let an employee know that you are disconnecting our stuff and they will come grab it. Please be gentle on those USB ports.

Do you make the pretzels and calzones in house?

Hey Lianna, sorry no we do not make the pretzels in house. I wish we could! But bread making takes up a lot of space that we don't have. We are confident in the brand we sell to deliver.

Can we bring our own board and card games to play?

    Yes you can

Is there any outdoor seating/can you bring your dog?

Hey Acacia, unfortunately we are considered a restaurant and our beautiful furry and hairy life companions are not allowed in the venue unless they are a service animal (emotional support animals don't count).

Is outside food allowed? (bday cakes etc.)

There is a sign posted that allows outside food but no outside alcohol.

Is there a phone number to contact?

Nope! We don't have a dedicated phone line, that's so 90's. If you are interested in an event please email events@guuildhouse.gg. If you interested in applying for a job email info@guildhouse.gg.

How do you reserve a table and can you bring your own games to play?

Tables and consoles stations are on a first come, first serve basis. We have plenty of space, with seats for 200 guests. You are welcome to bring your own board games and…

    Is there a Happy hour?

Hi Stephanieann, our Happy Hour (4-6pm) is on hold until the end of February as we had to adjust our business hours during the current pandemic surge. If things improve, we should be operating normally by March, and will bring back our Happy Hour at…

    Is guildhouse 21+ only?

All ages are welcome! However, because there is a presence of a full bar, children MUST be supervised and are solely the responsibilities of the accompanied parent(s)/guardian(s).

Where would the best place to park?

Metered street parking is free after 6- so always go for that when it's available. Otherwise, there are several lots nearby. The lots on 1st st have flat pricing which fluctuates in price, wheres the Convention Center Public Lot is free for the…

I went to the Canada vs. South Africa game on a Sunday, so the vibes and crowds were very chill and not too crowded at all. There was plenty of room on the street, and I also liked how there were so many other areas and screens inside the market and also in their patio, so you're not just limited to the street outside. Really cool that you can get drinks to go and enjoy them outside. The flow can be a bit confusing though, there's certain sidewalks and ramps you need to take to get to certain restaurants and buildings. You also can't take outside food into the Market itself (including drinks). Will definitely try to go back for more games before this ends for good!

2026 WORLD CUP WATCH PARTY "TAKE ME HOME, COUNTRY ROADS"…read more Whenever there was a World Cup I would go to pubs to drink, eat, and watch. Since the USA was co-hosting the 2026 World Cup along with Mexico and Canada I wanted to see if there was a World Cup watch party worth going to. San Jose is the perfect city in the Bay Area to watch the World Cup as the Earthquakes play there. After searching on the web, San Jose Earthquakes were hosting World Cup watch parties at San Pedro Square Market. The first game I attend for the World Cup watch party was USA-Paraguay. I have a stake on this game. I bought three games at Levi's Stadium for the World Cup including the Round of 32 with the first-place winner of Group D, which USA is in. I waited in anticipation for this 6:00 PM game. I was amazed to witness USA ahead 3-0 at halftime. The second half I was concerned when Paraguay scored, but at the end USA won 4-1. With this result I was 50% sure the USA would finish first in Group D. People celebrated and danced after USA won. I knew I had to come back to San Pedro Square Market. The second USA game I watched here was against Australia on Juneteenth. The day after USA beat Paraguay, Australia shockingly beat Turkey 2-0. The stage was set. USA would move to the Round of 32 if they beat Australia. At halftime USA was ahead 2-0. The game ended with that final score. I was 90% sure USA would finish first in their group. (Later that night Turkey lost to Paraguay that resulted USA finishing first in Group D.) The scenes at San Pedro Square Market were great after the USA's wins with the DJ playing hip hop songs the crowd danced to. However I want to make a request to the DJ. At Seattle after USA beat Australia John Denver's song "Take Me Home, Country Roads" was played inside the stadium with the fans singing. Please DJ to get the crowd hype for the next USA games play "Take Me Home, Country Roads". I guarantee the attendees at San Pedro Square Market will make the atmosphere the loudest World Cup watch party in the Bay Area.

To drink, we ordered the 34-ounce Drake's Juicy Hoot Hazy IPA, which was HUGE, but definitely fun. For food, we split the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, and it was AMAZING! The meat was cooked perfectly, the bun was soft, and the cheese was incredibly gooey and delicious. It also had bell peppers, onions, and jalapeños mixed in, which added great flavor. Surprisingly, it wasn't spicy at all. In fact, I didn't even realize there were jalapeños in it until I read the ingredients later while writing this review. All I knew at the time was that the cheesy, peppery goodness made every bite incredible. The staff were all super nice and friendly, which we appreciated. I would have given 5 stars, but there were a couple small things. When we first walked in it felt extremely warm inside, even though it wasn't hot outside, so I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't working or if it was just an off day?? Also, when our food arrived we still didn't have silverware or napkins, so I had to get up and ask the hostess for them. Since we were splitting the sandwich, it also would have been nice if a small plate had been brought out initially. I ended up putting my half on a napkin until we later asked our server for a plate. Our server was very friendly and apologized right away though, so it may have just been a busy moment. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

The server seemed in a rush, which I somewhat get but seemed to want to cut us off after every item we ordered (I ordered food and she immediately went "is that it for you guys" and my buddy hadn't ordered food yet.) Food came out and I was severely disappointed by the portion sizes of the brisket and had I known I would've ordered something else. I also noticed the menu online and the physical menus there were different (ie. online says the plate comes with two sides menu there says one side, menu there has chicken, online doesn't). To end it off, my buddy asked for a box, and the waitress dropped off the bill for us to sign and she just walked off and we couldn't find her so my buddy had to go inside to the bar to get a box. Overall decent environment, but service and food was not worth the price

Seeing the Scottish drinking Boston dry I wish Scotland had played some of their games at Levi's Stadium. The closest thing to experience the Scottish atmosphere was this Irish pub. I was disappointed when I looked at the food menu and did not list corned beef tacos as stated on the website. Also the food menu listed only five items. I ordered fries and chicken wings. For beer I selected Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The beer was refreshing however I paid too much for the price of food given the portion provided. The fries were crispy but paying for a basket of fries for $10 I expected the portion to be bigger. I will say the chicken wings were slightly crispy on the outside but most of all juicy inside. My pet peeve is when fried chicken wings are dry. Yet I paid over $18 for chicken wings. I thought I would get a dozen of wings; I only got five wings. For $18 I could have gone the deli section at the grocery store to get eight or ten pieces of fried chicken. Overall the Smithwick's was soothing but given the prices of food especially during a World Cup watch party there should have been more items listed on the food menu.
