Service was great. Laid back vibes. Loved that it wasn't too loud. Double hazy IPA was my fav. Loved having a cider option.
Nice spot to grab some drinks and hang out. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Friendly service. We got 2 flights to share and all of them were pretty good. They had a taco truck outside the main entrance and we got some nachos from there. Nachos were ok, but glad there were some food options.
Great laid-back spot to hang out and enjoy a drink (or five--who's judging? ). They have food trucks on certain days, so definitely call ahead to see what's available. Parking can be a little tricky on busy nights, but nothing too bad. There's also a small arcade room next to the restrooms (separate from the brewery), which is a fun little surprise. I ordered a hard cider and it was only about $6--super affordable. The atmosphere is relaxing, prices are fair, and best of all... dogs are allowed!
Many options, there's a beverage for everyone here! It does get very crowded during peak hours and you may have to park a few blocks down. People host events here as well and there are some board games provided.
Had a great time hanging out here with my son's basketball team, coaches, and team parents. Chill vibe, pet and kid friendly, great beer! Nothing fancy, nothing wasteful. Food options were limited but really enjoyed the Columbian food being served by pop-up vendor Mezcla Eats at this location which had some great vegetarian choices too! Paired well with the beers! The boys had a ton of fun with Jenga. though pretty sure they weren't playing it correctly with blocks flying in a couple different directions Service at the cash register was ok. The person taking my order made it feel like she was doing me a favor, and not very interested in answering even a simple question. C'mon, smile - it's beer!
We hosted a medium-size gathering on Saturday. We used the back patio area along the railroad tracks. It's super nice because it's not as noisy as inside and there are overhangs and plastic panels that keep you warm and dry. Luckily it wasn't raining that day and the weather was chilly, but we were very comfortable. You're able to bring food and we opened a tab for our group to order beer and hard seltzer. The process was super easy and our group really enjoyed what they ordered. All of us tried things we had never had before. I especially liked the peach hard seltzer . I highly recommend this for group gatherings. There was a baby shower in the main warehouse area and lots of groups, enjoying drinks and snacks. Unfortunately, they don't serve food like they do in Los Gatos but since you can bring your own, it wasn't a problem. At first we thought parking would be difficult, but there is lots of parking in the back and limited street parking. This business is dog friendly, which is another bonus.

Great selections, and each beer has its own unique taste. Highly recommended! And the pizza food truck outside of the brewery is amazing too!

The place is spacious with games and plenty of tables and a different food truck in front every time I come. A great place to just hang out with friends and yap away. Magic moon was definitely my favorite this time around and nice crisp hazy light.

I was recommended the Butterfly Wings the most popular airy citrus beer. Bad had the Hungry Dog, a bit darker IPA. Dropped in with our son, it's his 24th birthday today so we had a beer together as he awaits his friends to join him. Atmosphere is vibrant with Brooklyn Pizza truck parked out front. And music in the background sets the mood. Good conversations and a good time.

The brewery is located inside a warehouse and it seems like there are other shops too! Service was quick and they were helpful with deciding with drinks. The plus side is that dogs are allowed. I saw a bunch of cute doggos!!
Hapa's is a regular stop for us - often with a doggo! They always have a good selection of beers on tap, indoor/outdoor seating and good food trucks. Staff are always so warm and friendly, and the space is open and clean. It fills up quickly on weeknights and weekends, but we've always found space, either standing at a high table or sharing a table. Super dog-friendly, too! Parking is usually not hard to find - the bathrooms either, just a short walk. I think there's a small pinball arcade down the hall, too. We love the hazy IPAs on tap, and we always stay and hang out or play board games for 3 or 4 rounds of drinks.

Was in town & found this place right next to the coffee shop I was grabbing some coffee from so I had to stop in to taste a few IPAs they offered. I went with a flight. You get 4 tasters. I went with the following 4. I loved them all but my absolute favorite was the Solar Rift. 1.SOLAR RIFT HAZYDIPA 8% 26 IBU 2.ECHOES of Ruin WC DiPa 8.4% 34IBU 3.TUMBLING DICE Belgian Triple 8.5% 12 IBU 4.BUTTERFLY WINGS hazy doubleIPA 7.8% 28 IBU It was busy. All the tables were taken & there were groups of friends just hanging out & playing games while others were watching the game. Super cool hang out. So glad I stopped in. read more
Ambiance = 4; Service, Beverages = 5 Attended a friend's milestone birthday party. Hubby and I discovered that we really like their beer and cider. After taste tasting their pineapple and cherry ciders from friends, I asked Erik, who was pouring the beers, if folks ever order half and half. He educated me of their off the menu "Love Child" and I was excited to order one. His colleague Ben was also engaging. Hubby and I agree their dark stout surpasses Guinness, can taste essence of chocolate and coffee. I need to find a "growler" to bring next time to bring some home to enjoy! Was wandering around the area and stumbled upon Hapa's when we were actually looking for a coffee place, but the idea of having a beer on a beautiful Saturday afternoon was too enticing to pass up. We were greeted by a large open space with stills to our left and a common area with a bar in front of us. It was all very clean and well done while still keeping a warehouse sort of feel. Despite how busy it was we were able to get a seat at the bar and were served pretty quickly. I had a Hungry Dog while my girlfriend enjoyed a Pesky Penguin and we both really liked them. This was a major surprise as my girlfriend usually never ventures outside of wine. Would love to come back here to enjoy a beer with a few of my friends, a very chill place to hangout and grab a beer. read more
Location: San Jose, off Lincoln. Ambiance and Decor: Brewery factory style, with both inside and outside sitting. Restrooms located in the hallways of this huge factory spot. Children and dog friendly. Occasional food truck parked in front of the brewery. Outside food welcomed. Service: Service with a smile and welcoming. Drinks: Hapa has tons of choices of beers that they brew, as well as seltzers and non-alcoholic (It's call anti-fade). During my visit with my corgi I ordered the Pesky Penguin and Experience Idaho. (I like ordering drinks with a 7 or lower IBU) Pesky Penguin taste so much like Rasberries. Nice tart flavor with a touch of bitterness. Experience Idaho was amazing with no bitterness at all. I could have drank more, but I was already lit. lol Overall: 5/5 totally worth the visit. Prices are inexpensive and the local crowd makes everyone feel like home. read more

Cute brewery. We came for a friend's welcoming wedding party. They have a good selection of beers and ciders. People are able to bring their dogs and children. Restrooms are located around the corner. There are food trucks located outside for more of a selection. read more

I liked the beer, also enjoyed the food option they had though I wish it was listed on their social media or website. Service was good, I also wish they had more seating options. It gets crowded and the small barrel tables aren't very comfortable. read more
Stopped in for a nice relaxing beer on A Friday afternoon. You're welcome to bring food in to eat but they also have a food truck at the front entrance. They open at 3pm and we were there early so we ate our sandwiches in the car while we waited for opening hour.There's plenty of parking here. It a really cool industrial building where there's are other places to visit. Hair salon, Pinball game room, coffeehouse, and other places that I didn't explore. We walked in and sat at the counter. I ordered a triple Belgian beer and my boyfriend ordered the Polar Night stout. Super fun and friendly person serving the beer. They don't offer wine like the one in Los Gatos but do have a few more beer selections that the Los Gatos location. I love the industrial feel of this place more so than the Los Gatos location. Don't get me wrong the Los Gatos location is quite nice as well just a different style. The Los Gatos location does offer a food menu as well. But you can't go wrong with a food truck! We also love that they offer games to play. We were looking for a game of checkers, backgammon or chess to play, but didn't have any of those. We did however, play Connect Four! Always fun even for adults! read more
Went for a surprise party. The bartenders were no nonsense. But that's fine. Keep the drinks and people flowing. They had a food truck though we didn't order anything because the party was catered. Lots of people in the brewery not part of our party so the place gets a good turnout. They allow dogs inside which is cool. Definitely see this a place to just hang with friends and chill. Fantastic, easy service. Appreciate the bartenders here! Inside seating has a few tables, maybe 8 or so more tables outside. Shared bathroom outside the hallway. They seem to rotate different food trucks out front, I've seen the Mexican food truck (menu pictured), as well as an Asian style one. The drinks are really good, most IPAs hit the spot and the "Hapas Light" lager was probably my favorite! I did try a few seltzers where I really enjoyed the taste, but have a bit of concern that one of them may have contained caffeine. (Would've been Courageous Chameleon if this is true) I drank the seltzer around 8 pm and couldn't sleep til 7 am the next morning. I could be wrong but lesson learned regardless to check! Overall, no real fault, just a weird personal anecdote, everything here is great and I highly recommend! read more
My brother-in-law recently held his birthday gathering here and reserved some patio space for the event. This place has that cool grunge and industrial look. It is definitely a nice chill place to hang out with friends and drink beer as it's so spacious. They also allow dogs which is a plus for me :) I'm a newbie to drinking so I wanted to get a flight to try different types of beer, but the variety was lacking. Most of the beers were IPAs. I decided to just get a couple of pints instead. I got Little Angel, a mocha porter, and Butterfly Wings, a hazy DIPA which is their best seller. Both were fantastic. Since it was a Sunday, we also got food from Chick N' Bros which was parked around the front. Overall, this was a nice place for my BIL to hold his gathering. Parking was tricky as we had a lot of people in my BIL's party and it was Labor Day weekend, but I got lucky. The only issue I really have is that there isn't much beer variety, but I was told they rotate their menu pretty often so maybe it was just unfortunate that day. I would come back though. read more
Back to Hapa after a few months and my experience was great. They updated the menu with new flavors which we were excited to try. All was good but the Malibu was our favorite. We ended up trying all of them and had a lot of fun. My grandma loves it here and she was so happy to be back Service was fast and friendly. This place is great for friends gathering. read more
Chill and lowkey spot for a beer with friends. Good selection of drinks too. Food truck only. Strawberry Kiwi Sour was nice and tarte. Drinks come in three size options which is nice for building flights. Service was knowledgeable of the drinks and made good recs. read more

Lots of great brews here at Hapa's which is a dog-friendly brewery. If your dog is not social and does not get along with other dogs, highly recommend keeping them home as there are ALWAYS multiple dogs when I visit, especially on the weekends! Love the brews there, they have brews that rotate quite often. My favorite beer from the last visit was the Galileo's Dream, Scattered Light, and Uncut Gems. I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating! read more

An excellent warehouse brewery with plenty of inside and outside seating. This place is perfect for groups and families. They even have an event space in the corner where a birthday party was hosted. There was also a fantasy football draft, which proves how ample this space is! We learned about this place because we went to grab a bite at Chick N Bros! We grabbed our food and ate inside the brewery, which seemed like a popular thing to do! I enjoyed the Butterfly Wings Hazy IPA ($8) while my dad sipped on a Hapa Light ($5). I had a great experience here and would love to bring my friends here when I visit San Jose. read more
Went here for my cousin's birthday! This place was a good spot to hang out and enjoy some drinks! They had a taco truck outside and I believe the food trucks change because I saw chick and bros prior to coming here for the first time? What I got: -beer flight (Barbie's blonde, uncut gem, furious flamingo and summer crush) - pastor and lengua tacos from the truck The beer flight was super enjoyable! It was nice being able to try different drinks for only 10 bucks. My fav was the Barbie's blonde and the furious flamingo. The summer crush tasted like a white claw and the uncut gem was also yummy. The tacos were a good pairing w/ the beer but the only thing is the wait was long but it was busy so it's okay. :) overall would recommend this place to my friends and go here again. Ps. There's plenty of parking in the back, just go in thru the side!! read more

Is this place kid friendly?
Yes it is and dog friendly too. They have games and puzzles that anyone can play with. Also down the hall there is another place that recently opened up that has very cool vintage and new pinball machines.
Can you bring your own food?
While we have a different/rotating food truck each day, we still allow you to bring in outside food if you’d like!
What food truck will be there this Wed (9/7/22)? Do you post a food truck schedule anywhere?
It’s pretty regular but we post each week on instagram and keep it in our highlights for the week. Wednesday is T MO’s which is burgers, fries, and Mexican.
What time does the food truck show up on Sunday?
Our rotating food trucks are there from open to close every day we are open.
Is there a corkage fee for your own wine bottles you bring?
Unfortunately, we can’t have wine in the taproom at our San Jose location. We have wine on tap at our Los Gatos location though!
Can we bring in our own growlers to be filled?
Yes you can! All you need is a lid that can be sealed
Are you guys open yet for outdoor seating.. possibly for a group of 10?
Open for outdoor seating. Yes. But it has to be groups of 6 or less.
Is the tap room currently open? Can I visit with 3 other people (wearing masks of course) and a dog?
Currently our taproom is closed both inside and outside because we don't have a kitchen on site. Hopefully when it is safe to open up, we'd love to have you, your pod, and dog!…
How are they open now with the fact that there can be no more than 35 people present?
We are actually closed. I’ll adjust the hours.
Are there non-alcoholic beverages for kids?
We have Capri suns, la croix, sodas, and water.
Do you need RSVP for party of 14?
No. It’s open seating and first come first serve.
Where the bathroom?
It’s in the hallway. They are communal with the other units in the building
Good for large parties? Can we reserve spots for a group?
Hapas has a private party space where they brew beer. This is for parties larger than 20 people and there is a rental fee associated with it.…
Do ya sell Hapa's growlers, also is fill ups great priced?
No. They sell big cans that they produce on demand. Great prices? Not even remotely. Glasses of beers are $8-$9, then with tax and tip you pay $10 to sit there among kids and dogs running wild.
