This is for the clinic. I am very ill today, cannot get into my own doctor, was advised to seek out urgent care. After hours of research determined Minute Clinic with their Walk-in Welcome was the place to go. Dragged myself there, waiting room is empty, signed in electronically, and soon the most inappropriately attired clinical "professional' poked her head out and informed me I might as well not wait because she has too many appointments. She clearly did not give a shit that I was Ill or even attempted to try to fit me in for a quick checkup. FYI, you are there to treat patients, not meeting a Tinder date. read more

I've used this Walgreens for over than a year. I've have to deal with one of their techs yelling at me, one was too lazy to call the insurance company with a billing error and asked me to do it and the pharmacist was rude. I don't think they understand customer service at all. I was not happy to have them tell me it would take almost two hours to call the insurance company and rerun it when I had called then myself and it took all of less than 10 minutes. After 4 trips and countless phone calls I decided to take my prescription business else where. Oh yeah. .and all my other business too. Typical drug store for over the counter medicines or a snack/drink. But I agree with some others on the health clinic. They are real hit and miss depending if you get someone good, many times you do not. This trip was a to the health clinic and it was a waste of time and money. I made an appointment the day before, but still waited over 30 minutes before the first person took me to ask for basic info and take vitals, that all took 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes before I see a Nurse Practitioner (Note, there are never any Drs here). The Nurse Practitioner was very abrupt and her whole goal seemed to be prove I had to go urgent care. I had been at Urgent care 5 days before (went there in case I needed an xray) and they did a through exam and diagnosed Bronchitis. I was much better but not 100% yet, so I wanted another Z-Pak prescription (very common for more serious things like Bronchitis, even says on the package). But the NP doubted all my questions (of how I was much better) like if she just kept asking the same question I would change my answer. She finally listened to my lungs and kept yelling at me to breathe deep - until I told her I was and I was getting dizzy from the hyperventilating she was having me do. She stopped yelling then but a minute later said Yup, like she had struck gold and said I needed to go to Urgent Care. As we left she made a side remark about pneumonia (saying some people get it) - the symptoms for pneumonia and bronchitis are very very different and mine do not (and never did) match pneumonia at all. I have no rattling or wheezing in my lungs (had some at urgent care but if I coughed they went away and it was explained it was just the nasal drainage). Obviously the nurse practitioner was too afraid to make a call so wanted to pass things off to urgent care. We have been sent to urgent care like this before when they have said oh, this number (their vitals) was real low/high and we Had to go to urgent care as things were critical, only to have urgent care say we were perfectly normal and they get a lot of people sent after going to a pharmacy clinic. We have also in a previous visit, the nurse practitioner decide I didn't need antibiotics and just had a cold and then walk me around the entire store showing me and putting into my hands all the cold medicines she thought I should be buying. I don't go to a health clinic to have them sell me over the counter items, so I didn't really like that. We have tried both Walgreen Health Clinic and Minute Clinic at CVS and both can be hit and miss, but we are more likely to get better care at Minute Clinic, so I guess we will make sure we always go there even though Walgreens is closer. read more

This is in NO WAY a 3 1/2 star Walgreens. I've been here 6 times and it's a NO STAR. My last visit broke the camel's back. The last trip has to do with the pharmacy. BS experience. Dr. called in prescription at 1:30pm. 5:45 arrived at Walgreen's. Drive thru was double lanes and each lane had 3 cars. CRAP CRAP CRAP my daughter sucks (just got a diagnosis YAAAAAY) and I have to go in. Husband says he will go in and I will drive crazy around, you are welcome Walmart store and customers. Fine. I come back to pick him up about 5 minutes later and then wait another 5 minutes. No problem, we saw the drive thru. Husband says: they just pulled up the prescription, it will be another 20 minutes. WHAT???? Called in at 1:30pm and still not ready (this is a standard medicine, not rocket science). BREATHE... ok fine, heading to the library down the street we can pick it up on the way home. An hour later we go back to Walgreen's. (I got some great books regarding my daughter's diagnosis btw. My husband comes out and says.... they just put an over the counter medicine in the bag and made me pay full price for it. $10.99 plus tax. WTF. My insurance the medicine is covered. No out of pocket cost, but I deal with the insurance not husband. So I get out of the car and go in for my refund. Look, I hate this store, so I'm not spending money in here anymore, and I know a shitty box store that sells this medicine for less if I'm going to pay out-of-pocket. THOSE ASSSSSSHoles were LAZY LAZY LAZY and just trying to get rid of a customer's prescription by putting a shelf medicine in an RX bag and charging their customer. I explained that my insurance covers the medicine and I wasn't going to pay out of pocket if it's covered, he mumbled something about putting the liquid into a bottle and then putting a label on it. FU LAZY ASS. You suck. Prescription is being filled by another Pharmacy ASSHATs and a nasty gram to the corporate. THIS MEDICINE WAS FOR AN INFANT YOU JERKOFF. Happy Halloween Yelpers. read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE! I wish I could give 0 stars! The pharmacist that works in the late afternoon is EXTREMELY rude and lacks people skills. Went there recently through the drive-thru and it was busy. The drive-thru has 2 lanes and I noticed that people were getting help before me although I was there before them. When she finally decided to assist me she was noticeably a bit agitated. It all went South from there. The following day I spoke to the store manager about the incident and of course instead of being professional and neutral, she automatically sided with her staff and started justifying and rationalizing. To my surprise (not really) her staff gave her a report which was full of untruths and exaggeration to cover their behinds. Of course the manager chose to believe the nonsense. This type of professional immaturity and poor leadership speaks to why I received the bad service I got. I've been in operations management for many years and my first priority along with my staff is taking care of the customer. Any type of rudeness to a customer is not tolerated and grounds for IMMEDIATE termination. There are other reviews stating the bad service received from the pharmacist and that department but I guess those are all lies too. We are happily taking our business elsewhere. I never understood why people that have poor people skills get into professions that require them to work with people. This is another example of how the word care is being removed from health care. read more

Wow, what an awful experience at the Wellness Clinic. All's I needed was a biometric screening for my "incentive dollars"... I came with a clinic voucher, but in order to register in the arrival kiosk, you must "agree" that you will pay for your appointment. I didn't think it was appropriate to "agree to pay," so I canceled that part, and my name went first on the Wait List monitor screen. Sat down 12 minutes before my appointment time, 3 people went a head of me, and then my name dropped off the list. Ugh, long story short, I had to beg the clinic staff to talk to me to find out what was going to happen now. Both staff members seemed stressed and overwhelmed. One staff person told me that I was late cause she was here and saw that I was not here. I told her that was not true and then it started back and forth. Really!? I asked if she could see me and she said that I would have to wait for 2 more people to be seen. It was not fair to have to keep waiting and I needed to leave. I wasted a hour there. Now I have to go somewhere else. I did check my phone to see the time stamp on an email that I sent while I was waiting... it was at exactly 9am, so I wasn't mistaken. Walgreens clinic does not have a good system. There is no staff to talk to when things are out of the ordinary (e.g. my voucher) and you need assistance. Also, there is something wrong with the staff... maybe overworked or maybe overstressed. They were certainty unpleasant. I felt bad for them. And I feel bad for people that come in feeling miserable and sick and they have to deal with this system and the staff. read more

My husband and I got flu shots at this Take Care Clinic. The nurse told us she would submit the claims to our insurance company, and we spent about 20 minutes waiting for her to fill out all of the paperwork. A few weeks later, we got a bill in the mail from Take Care Clinic for the full price of our flu shots, which are supposed to be covered by insurance. We ignored it, thinking that maybe the insurance claim hadn't processed yet, and another bill came. My husband got suspicious and called Take Care Clinic. Turns out the nurse never submitted the claim to our insurance company. All the Take Care Clinic customer service representative said to my husband said was, "It looks like we didn't submit a claim to any health insurance. You will have to submit one directly to your healthcare provider yourself now." Seriously? Talk about awful customer service. Take Care Clinic didn't do what they were supposed to do, and now they expect my husband and I to do it ourselves instead of making it right. I'm never patronizing Walgreens Take Care Clinic again. read more

Let me start by saying if I could give this place zero stars I WOULD. I sent my husband to this walgreens being its the nearest 24 hr pharmacy to us. BAD IDEA. Its 9:30 pm we had left the hospital my 7month old has painful blisters in his mouth and is in need of his elixir medication. (shouldnt take more then 5 minutes to mix up) and a diaper rash oitment. My husband hands the pharmacy tech the Rx and tells her he will wait for the medications. 1 hour and 40 mins later!!! the medications are ready. The tech is about to hand him the meds when he stumbles on verifying the address on file (i usually pick up medications so he has no idea what address we had on file) she looks at him weird and says "hold on the pharmacist needs to speak to you" keep in mind my son is at home crying at the top of his lungs waiting for his meds! 10 mins pass and the pharmacist hands my husband the meds and says "do you have any questions?" Either the tech had no idea what she was doing or was a real a**hole! pharmacist apologizes and tells the tech to ring him up. She doesnt even look up or apologize. NEVER AGAIN! I will go out of my way and drive the extra 4 mi. to the other 24hrs location. read more

Terrible experience at Healthcare Clinic! Provider took my money and then proceeded to tell me that she couldn't help me before she even examined me. She said that everybody is having sinus problems and swollen glands right now. She then referred me to my primary care Dr. to order an ultrasound. What?! Since I had a previous experience with a sinus infection, etc., I went directly to a Banner Clinic afterwards and was diagnosed with a sinus infection and swollen tonsils. Took the antibiotics and prednisone and was better in a couple of days. Walgreens Clinic was a total waste of time and money! read more

This review is specifically for the clinic located in the pharmacy. Let me just say right off the bat that I was thoroughly impressed with the clinic! I happen to be in the middle of relocating to the area from Colorado and I caught a really nasty cold/virus that has been going around (likely as a result of the stress of the move and new job). I didn't go into Walgreens with the intent on going to the clinic but rather I was looking to find something that might help me breath a bit better as I was finding it difficult to take good, deep breaths without hacking my brains out and/or feeling out of breath with even the slightest activity. With that said, I noticed the clinic and thought it would probably be a good idea to be seen if possible. I used their easy registration kiosk/computer to set myself up for a walk in appointment (there are options to schedule an appointment also). There was only one person ahead of me so figured it likely wouldn't take too long and I was right. I waited for about 20 minutes which I thought was totally reasonable for a walk-in. I saw Jenny who is an NP (Nurse Practitioner) and she was awesome! I definitely made the right choice to be seen because my pulse oximetry (Oxygen level) was quite low and Jenny was rightly concerned about that. She immediately gave me a Breathing Treatment and talk about night and day in terms of how I felt. My Oxygen level came up to where it needed to be during the treatment and while obviously I was still sick, I felt much better. Jenny spent a good 30 minutes or so with me and it didn't feel rushed at all (regular Dr might have spent 5-10 min tops). Jenny certainly showed that she cared about my health and I guess I just didn't expect that in the clinic setting. The main reason I am writing this review is because I never really thought about using a clinic like this one before and to be honest, were it not for the fact that I am new to the area, I likely wouldn't have this time but I am sure glad I did!! I wish that I knew about the convenience of this option before and will be singing the praises of this clinic anytime someone I know has an illness that isn't critical or a true emergency. To be clear, do NOT go to this clinic if you think you may be having a heart attack or some other life threatening emergency. GO TO THE ER AT A HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY!! Also important to note, this office doesn't have the ability to do X-rays or sutures/stitches so you would need to go to the ER or possibly Urgent Care (which is a bit of a bummer and the only reason I rated 4 instead of 5) To summarize this somewhat lengthy review, for their intended purpose, this clinic is awesome and I will be utilizing them again in the future for basic healthcare needs. Jenny deserves a special shout out for really doing an excellent and taking the necessary time with me and caring about me! I did also receive a call from the manager of the clinic with about 48 hours after my visit. She was checking on me to see how I was doing. One note, it is awesome that the clinic can transfer prescriptions electronically right to the pharmacy but I will mention to make sure you get what you are supposed to from the pharmacy. The NP specifically prescribed a device that she wanted me to use with the inhaler she prescribed (I saw it written in script) but the pharmacy didn't include it. Luckily before I left the store, I noticed it wasn't there. When I went back to the pharmacy counter, a fairly rude employee (don't know if Tech or Pharmacist) said that the device doesn't come with the medication. I don't know why they would just ignore the instruction and not even speak to me about it. I stated that I needed to get one anyway and a pharmacist then walked over and I believe in an attempt to back up the other guy, stated the device "must be prescribed" and I told him it was, please go back and look at prescription. He did and immediately changed his demeanor and became helpful. He did go out of his way to help find a reasonable option because I had to pay cash for it and I did appreciate that. It was just disappointing that had I not known that I needed it and/or fully understood the PA's instruction on how to take my medications, I would not have gotten the needed device. Every time I go to this store I have to wait in a long line. Even if my perscription was called in the day before they wont have it ready. then tonight I waited in line for my perscription that I called in yesterday and of course it wasnt ready. I had to sit down and wait 40 minutes anyways. The other time I waited over a hour as they forget to put down that I was waiting for it. I dont blame the employees I blame the managment. They need to hire at least twice as many people as they have now. Im switching to Frys pharmacy. Goodbye Walgreens. read more

I arrived at the proper time about 10 minutes early to sign in. There is alot of construction in the store. An undentified woman came out of a clinic office. She asked me if I had an appointment which I did at 12 and then asked me what time it was.It was 12. She said I'm going to see this person behind you because she was waiting for a long time. What's the purpose of an appointment??Finally, she came out of her office after seeing the other patient. It was about 12;20. She said go in the ofice and turn right and sit on the table. I'll be right back and left me in the room. She returned with a bottle of water. I asked her if she was a NP because she told me her name but didn't have any ID to identify her as a NP.She said yes, She filled out some paperwork and give me an immunization. NO gloves. She proceeded to finish the paper work . When I looked at the paperwork, the wrong date was on it. She changed it when I told her. I think there are some rules to follow, always display your identification, wear gloves, and make sure you know the correct date...... read more
