I had to walk into Walgreens 2 days ago, due to my script not fitting in the drive through. I haven't been in that store for 6+ months. That front office manager was still working there, and within 3 seconds said "you aren't supposed to be here". Walked directly back to pharmacy where male pharmacist stated he couldn't give me my script and to walk out; as Im "noted" in the system.?? Understand, I had been going here for 24 years, never done a thing wrong, and spent thousands of dollars in this store. I need to find a reproduction to deal with this situation and the mentally ill manager. Does anyone know of a place to start? They could 100% pull up any and all camera activity to prove I have done nothing but shop. It is unreal!! in order to deal with this nightmare?? At this point it is absolutely about principle. I came in last night with an electronic gift card that I received and paid for online . It is supposed to be used just like any normal payment and the cashier was beyond rude and frustrated that I even was attempting to use a gift card . When I kindly asked her how I use it/ tap it on the pay tablet she very rudely told me just give it to me. I guess if I get fired I get fired. I got the feeling she felt like I was fraudulently attempting to pay for my items . Like first off, that's not customer service and second I paid for this gift card before hand with my hard earned money . So just be aware if you're trying to use an electronic gift card, I very much suggest to take it somewhere else. There was absolutely no need for the attitude and frustration on her end. read more

If you know a girl on accutane you know how difficult it is to deal with ipledge. There's a strict 7 day window to pick up medication, and if you don't you have to submit a THIRD pregnancy test. At my old pharmacy my prescription was delayed for a full 7 days. I panicked on the 7th day and started calling every open Walgreens in Phoenix. Tiffany really helped me out and made sure my prescription was ready within minutes so that I could pick it up before my window closed. She was so pleasant and helpful!! I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Pharmacy Tech NICHOLAS for his exceptional service. His commitment to customer satisfaction has not only resolved my prescription issue, but has also strengthened my loyalty to Walgreens. On 5/3/24 I encountered an issue with obtaining my prescription meds for a serious sinus infection as my doctor mistakenly sent the 'one-time-fill' to my mail-in pharmacy, OptimRX.  OptimRX would not mail the meds for a week and a half.  Nicholas took control of the issue and called OptimRX correcting the problem.  He then called me back telling me that OptimRX cancelled the presc, that Walgreens just filled it, and both are ready for pickup.  WOW, he made my day!!!!!! I mostly come here because it's my neighborhood Walgreens. The convenience of just driving around the corner is great. If I needed to go to the store and grab something real quick, this will be my convenient store. They have everything just enough stuff. However, I had always have a problem with the Photo center. Every time I developed pictures online and I pick it up...my pictures are usually zoomed in or cut off somehow. It would never looked like the photos I developed or edited online. They manage to messed this up all the time. I'm thankful that I can still return it and they will issue me a refund or they'll offer to re-develop it again. Beside the a photo center, they have a drive thru pharmacy and a Redbox outside too, so I can't complain. read more

God awful. Put me on hold 7 times while I call to ask about my medication which has been submitted and in process for 3 days. I ask if they can fill it for me within the next hour as I am leaving town and tomorrow is a holiday. The lady who answered the phone (finally) was short with me and said "no, we are understaffed and we'll have it for you later today". It looks like I'll be waiting several days to get my medication due to being out of town which will once again impact my treatment plan due to this pharmacy's staffing and logistical issues. I recommend avoiding walgreens (or at the very least this location) at all costs. read more

I'm absolutely finished with the pharmacy here. No communication and has left me without crucial meds more than once. I've come to the conclusion that it's this location in particular because when I have been left without meds I called the 24 hr Walgreens farther away and they've filled it for me with no issues and immediately. I'm switching to a mail service after years of using this Walgreens. My health is not worth the risk of working with the Chandler & 40th St location anymore. read more

This is my local Walgreens and I love it. I see so many of the negative reviews but in my 15 yrs here I have never received bad service. Some of the longer employees even get your name and give a shout out when you are there! I also use the location as my local pharmacy. Again- never a problem. We've been using this Walgreens pharmacy since 1994 and have been happy with them. Now they're having trouble filling a regular prescription for better than a week. Maybe it's because of COVID, maybe it's because no one wants to work for them, it doesn't matter why they aren't filling prescriptions and are unable to say when they might, we just need confidence in the competence of pharmacy filling our prescriptions. The good news is the pharmacy down the street is apparently not hampered by whatever has hobbled Walgreens and are happy to take the work. read more

I stopped using this Walgreens about a month and a half ago. The staff/"technicians" are the worst service people I have ever dealt with. Surly and uncooperative are ways I would describe the "techs". They are also unwilling to communicate to me if there are problems with a prescription. I have been in the store more than once after recieving a text that a script is ready for pickup only to be told some excuse why it is in fact, not ready. I moved all my scripts to Safeway at 40th and Chandler Blvd. The pharmacy staff are 100% professional and have, on the rare occasion that a scrips is not covered by insurance, have suggested me using GoodRx to save money. Wallgreens? Never gave me that courtesy. My co-pay is about 30% less than Walgreens. Even my PCP said Safeway had best prescription prices. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy had a habit of "accidentally" deleting electronic prescriptions that your doctor sends over. Their remedy of course is to tell you that you have to contact your doctor to get a new prescription. So because of their incompetent employees, the pharmacist, customer, doctor, and doctors office staff all have to do extra work to remedy the mistake of some idiot employed at Walgreens. Perhaps Walgreens should better train their employees, rather than have to have many other people fix the mistakes they themselves create. read more

If you've been in a drug store before, you pretty much know what to expect at this Walgreens. It has a 24/7 pharmacy, which is really convenient, and a pharmacy drive-through. They have 24/7 photo processing, for when you need to print out photos for a school project and your printer inevitably is out of ink. It's a clean store, large, with lots of miscellaneous items like peanut butter and hair dryers, and the staff are friendly enough. Added bonus: This Walgreens has a clinic inside, so when you come down with strep or something, it's convenient to just stop in and see the doctor. Depending on your luck, you might wait anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple hours though, so you might want to schedule ahead online. read more

My favorite Walgreen and pharmacy! I have many choices and this is the one I like the best. This one has bottled Diet Caffeine Free Coke which like all my other posts gets it 5 stars! But this one also has great employees and are helpful too! I have never waited too long for my prescriptions and they carry things I thought would take a while to get in, but they seem to always have what I need. I like the screens that updates customers on the status of prescriptions. I also received a call from the pharmacist, since I was new and taking a new drug. This was a great touch! read more

But when my pharmacy that arguably is vital to keeping me healthy can't keep business hours as posted, there's zero excuse for that. We aren't running a drug business out of our house fellas. You had hours posted, you've reduce the hours posting new hours. And you still can't consistently stick to those? Why don't you just put it on your app, your website, or even on your phone service that your hours may vary wildly from day to day? At least that way I know in advance that I can't rely on you for prescription refills, and I should go to a different location that actually does have staffing. I can't help but notice a bunch of Walgreens have shut down in the East Valley, maybe we just have too many Walgreens in the area? Walgreens is the worst pharmacy I have ever done business with. My doctor was asked to use another pharmacy but called it in to Walgreens anyway. So far I am sitting here 20 minutes while the pharmacist who says he is doing this for 30 years cannot figure out how to put my meds through insurance. He was also not well mannered when I asked what the delay was. After calling I was told the meds would be ready three hours ago. Use Safeway or Kroger and never Walgreens. read more

I have been coming to this Walgreens for 15+ years, and have never had an issue. Lately, the pharmacy technicians are rude, unfriendly, slow and do not treat customers like they are valued. After waiting in line for 20 mins in line at drive thru to pick up a prescription, the technician continued to not help the people in my line. When I finally got up to the speaker, she indicated she would be right back, and she left the window. When she returned, she helped the person next to me, at this point I was shocked that she 'forgot' I was next. Frustrated beyond belief when she got to me I asked her if she wanted to help anyone else in that line before she helped me? Her response was "opps, my brain isnt working'. One person running the window is ridiculous to start with, a 25 min wait, and the lack of customer service has me moving my prescription to another pharmacy! Unacceptable! I called to refill a monthly prescription knowing I had refills and the pharmacy tech quickly assured me I had no refills and he would be happy to contact my doctor to request refills. It was a Friday which meant I wouldn't get it until Monday or later. I asked the tech to review the old prescriptions because the doctor had just called in several months worth 1 month ago. After several rounds of this there was silence followed by "I apologize, I found it". I called to fill a second prescription a week later that needed to be transferred from another walgreens. A tech, again, quickly told me the computer wouldn't allow her to transfer it. After continuing to discuss this with her, and going through several rounds of being placed on hold, she picks up and says "okay, we can fill it, I guess the computer reversed itself". It's not like we're talking about McDonald's saying they're out of fries, we're talking about prescriptions... That customers need. Although turning customers away and making up excuses rather than actually trying to fill a prescription may eliminate work and save time, that probably isn't the most ethical way to run a pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens is clean and is quite large. It has lots of goodies and last minute gifts that won't seem like...last minute gifts ;) The Pharmacy is fast and has always been helpful with all my questions. the Theranos clinic is AMAZING! I get my blood work done there for my thyriod/vitamin levels done there. $11 and some change for both Free T4 & TSH! 20ish dollars for my blood work is awesome. The phlebotomist is friendly and easy going. I believe you can get the paper with costs on them if you give a call. I get mine from my naturopath. read more

Walgreens corporation is too big to function. They cannot keep common medications in stock. You have to try to communicate with a computer to confirm an order is ready to pick up. This is something that occurs in a monthly basis. They do not train their people. The people have less than poor customer service skills and they could care less how they inconvenience the customer. read more

If you have to go to Walgreens clinic go to this one. Made an appointment same day on a Saturday no less, for my toddler(suspected ear infection) and my mother( suspected sinus infection) The nurse practitioner had us seen on time and confirmed our suspicions. We were all in and out within an hour and the pharmacy had everyone's prescription ready for us by the time we wrapped up with the nurse practitioner. Fantastic since a toddler with an ear infection is no fun. We were able to hit a drive through for some food and my daughter was able to have some medicine as soon as we got home. I can't thank you enough for the prompt service and seeing my sick 2 year old when no one else would and also allowing my mom to start feeling better after 2 weeks of suffering. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I was so frustrated with waiting in one drive thru lane while the other kept getting helped, that I'm going to! This is the second time I've been to this pharmacy and it took almost 20min for me to get through the drive thru line. The first time there took forever too, not because of the amount of cars in line or the order in which they were helped, but because of the slow thinking tech (trying to be politically correct).... There's constantly errors, giving me the wrong prescriptions, failing to fill prescriptions on time, losing electronic scripts from doctors offices and there's never an apology for any of it. I had the worst experience today. All I wanted to do for Christmas was print out pictures for my family and it seems like the employers working the photo booth are not in the jolly spirit. I had a question for the lady with (large glasses and dark hair) regarding my print size and she wouldn't even turn around to acknowledge me all she screamed was "JUST A SECOND" while on the computer. I tried to use a USB cord and an older lady (with short blondish hair) was frustrated when I asked her for one saying "well everyone is taking them" and literally threw it on the counter. I get it, it's the holidays, everyone is stressing out but I come to stores in a nice mood because I'm in customer service myself, and my experience wasn't pleasant. We left to go to CVS! read more

Every month I come here to pick up my medication. . It is not filled ! I sound them my text that says your medication is ready for pick up ... and they never can find it!! I have spoke to the head Pharmacist regarding this on going problem. He said my script was not on file . I said I walked it into Walgreens in 1/31. I have even show them the picture of the script from my doctor! So they say the shouldn't be any problem next month... each month it the same story! Changing to Walgreens on Elliot ! I've used this Walgreens for over than a year. I've have to deal with one of their techs yelling at me, one was too lazy to call the insurance company with a billing error and asked me to do it and the pharmacist was rude. I don't think they understand customer service at all. I was not happy to have them tell me it would take almost two hours to call the insurance company and rerun it when I had called then myself and it took all of less than 10 minutes. After 4 trips and countless phone calls I decided to take my prescription business else where. Oh yeah. .and all my other business too.
