North Hills, California Halloween just passed and Walgreens have a good sale going on with the chocolates. Unfortunately, not all the stores have them like this one. They have plenty of selection but the deals weren't worth it. So I didn't buy anything. The store is well stocked, organized, and some part isn't well lit though. The employee greets you upon entering the store which is great. Parking is plenty that is shared with other businesses. Location is a little bit on the down side area. I placed an order online today and I was notified that it was ready for pick up, so once I arrived, I checked in online and it instructed me to go over to the photo counter, saw a manger at register she proceeds to ask me if I was here for a photo pick up and I clarified and said no it was online order store item, so she delegated the task to another girl, who was rude just cause I told her that the online instructions said to get it here, she was trying to send me over to the regular register. Do better with your service and drop the attitude. She ignored me and started to talk to her coworker, as I said thank you, no acknowledgement. Sad, I can tell people don't like their jobs. This is the last time I visit this low budget location, parking is a nightmare and people are rude, homeless asking for money, cars are rude to pedestrians. I have to say, this Walgreens Pharmacy is one of the worst I've ever visited. Time and again, they get orders and prescriptions wrong. They send notifications saying your prescription is ready, but when you arrive, they haven't processed it yet. This leads to multiple trips and long wait times--often about 35 minutes in the drive-thru with up to 5 cars ahead of you. Even after that, you might have to return because they forgot to fulfill your order. On top of all that, the staff is extremely unprofessional, rude, unaccommodating, and provides very poor customer service. It's a frustrating and inefficient experience every time. read more

This pharmacy filled my prescriptions without authorization. It made it impossible for me to get my pills covered and filled by my usual pharmacy. I called 3 times to cancel my scripts. The first 2 times they hung up on me. The 3rd time they blew me off. If this happens to you, get your insurance carrier and doctor involved and make sure they don't get paid to fill it. The staff are typical for any Walgreens. Apathetic, rude and unprofessional. Avoid all Walgreens in the future. These people need to be shut down. This is basically insurance fraud. This pharmacy has always been okay, but today they really messed up. I had a stroke on Sunday so my mom went to pick up my medications today, which were 8 of them and a mask. My mom called me back and stated that the pharmacy technician that attended her was rude and rushed her and only gave her 7 plus the mask. So she read them back to me, i knew which were missing and called the pharmacy. I called and spoke to the only female pharmacist on staff on a Tuesday morning, who was already very rude from the beginning. I explained to her and she was so lost, she asked " so what is your mom's date of birth?" & I had to tell her "it's not for my mom, it's for me!" That should have been a warning sign that they are clearly clueless. Once she finally understood, she stated that because the medication was apparently given to my mom and she "lost it or stole it" they would have to review the cameras when the manager arrived on staff after 1:30 pm (2 hours later). I was shocked that they would accuse my mom of their mistake and upset at this. I hung up and called my mom who went back to the tech and told him that she didn't steal anything! The tech then realized he still had the medicine in hand and never gave it to her. After THEIR huge mistake and their disgusting accusation, they never once apologized for this behavior. The only kind person was another tech who came to talk to my mom and try to diffuse the situation when he wasn't even involved in it. I was asking her about my mom's medication and I asked her what is this medication for she started making fun of me and telling me I repeated myself three times already what's wrong with you why aren't you understanding and I told her there are some medical terms I'm not familiar with not because you studied, that means everyone should understand it ,she hung up right away. I'm always at this Walgreens because it is the closest one to my house. The store is generally clean and the cashier always tries to make small talk with me. I've had plenty of positive experiences with the ladies who work in the beauty department. The photo department is superb too. They get you your photos pretty quick. The pharmacy department here is not too bad. Their drive-thru is very efficient and gets me medication quick. The parking lot is vast and I never have trouble finding parking here. The only gripe I have is there is always a homeless person outside asking for money. I get that they have to do what they have to do but it definitely takes away from the professional atmosphere at the corner of happy and healthy. read more

I just went through the Pharmacy Drive-thru to pick up a brand new prescription. When the gentleman who was helping me just passed me my prescription and receipt, I asked for more details like adverse side effects, etc. He promptly got the pharmacist, who picked up the phone and just stared at me. She didn't address me whatsoever and looked at me with an attitude. She did not provide me any details of my medication, like do I need to take it with meals or if it makes me drowsy. She acted like my questions were a burden and couldn't muster up the strength to do her job. The pharmacist should not be working with the public. She should work in the private sector, where her interactions with people are minimal. I'll be sending my prescriptions elsewhere, and you should too. read more

I shop at this Walgreens every week, and have been for over five years now. If there's something positive to say about this store it's the fact that at least it is consistent, as in consistently bad! Bad service, sloppy product displays, horrible cleanliness conditions, and a slew of employees in constant party-mood with each other when they're not fraternizing with select customers to get phone numbers or dates. That's how unprofessional some of the employees at this outlet are. Go in the store at any given time and you're met with walking isles rife with trash and debris, especially around the checkout area. Go to the photo counter or cosmetics and you have to wait at least five minutes before anyone shows up to help. The worse are the checkers and checkout line. With the exception of a couple of girl employees, the line is always long, and it doesn't matter if you third or 13 in line, you will be in line for at least 10 to 15 minutes. That's how slow the checkers are--especially the male employees--cause, you understand, they're busy chatting with female customers and trying to get phone numbers and dates! And naturally, on top of all this, they are almost always out of items, and never have an answer why, only that "It ought to come in next week. We hope!" During these five years I've mentioned all these things to the manager numerous times--that's when he's not on his cell phone or stuck behind a computer screen somewhere in the store...too busy to be bothered by a customer looking for service! In essence, this has got to be one of the dirtiest, sloppiest and most poorly run Walgreens I've ever shopped at. Were it there could be another drug store in the area, or this outlet got a manager who had some standard of excellence in his makeup or professional attitude. The store is a mess. Let's be honest. This Walgreens exists simply for the indoor Redbox kiosk and the times when you need knock-off brands of American cheese slices. Both of which I don't like. Used this pharmacy after Eric had me join the Prescription Club. On one prescription called Trazodone I was charged only $5.00. Be sure you ask them for details. I especially like the "drive-through" which is very convenient. The service is also good and I've never been shorted on meds (which happened at a CVS store). I shopped around even trying Costco on one med but the medicine I got at Costco was far below the quality; in other words, you get what you pay for. Very prompt service ... be patient, there are only three that work there. Ask about their discount and they will make it worth your while to transfer or bring your script service. My husband went to purchase beer with his matricula and he turned him away! So about ten minutes later I go with him as I am of age I am 31 years old! I'm here often for one thing or another and I have to say that I am very pleased. They have a nice selection of cosmetics and snacks. There is a red box near the photo printing section. Their headphone selection is awesome. I'll admit, I mostly come here for headphones since I always loose them and they always seem to have the ones I need. The pharmacy area is ok. I tend to avoid it but I have found some necessary stuff like a first aid kit, neospprin and small things like that. They also have a variety of charger cords and ports which is awesome read more

So I ordered some pictures to be developed from my smartphone. I take a lot of pics at sporting events but dont really find the time to print them out. However, there was this one pic that I took at last years SC-UCLA game that I wanted developed for an event tomorrow so I processed it through their mobile app. I get an email later saying that my pic is ready to be picked up only to find that they couldn't.process it due to " copywrite" limitations. Copywrite ? Are you kidding me ? I just want the pic to have signed by the players featured in my pic, i'm not trying to make money off it !!!! Absolutely appalling fiasco at the pharmacy. Scheduled a simple wellness test two weeks in advanced. After having the appointment bounced to several pharmacies across the valley we were informed of the need to fast the day before the appointment, and furthermore, that it was cancelled because they only perform our test in the morning. We dropped the breakfast we were preparing and ran over to the pharmacy for the test. We waited an hour after checking in for the test. It was administered so unprofessionally and piecemeal that we were forced to help the pharmacist figure out how to use the test equipment. As I write this we are still waiting for the test to be completed. Will never return here especially if our health is in question. read more
