The only reason I'm leaving 5 stars is because of Ayasali. I asked two people and older women and an older man for help. They did not want to help me. Ayasali saw my frustrated. Look at my face. She helped me find the water diapers. That my daughter needed to go into the pool. The other two employees did not want to help me look for it nor go in the back just to check if they had any extras. I need to give her a raise for her management skills and seeing when a customer is under distress. I was gonna have to drive around and ruin my time when the two people gonna help me in the first place when they didn't want to. If you guys go to CVS, please ask for. I had an extremely frustrating experience with the pharmacist at CVS while trying to refill my cat's inhaler prescription. The pharmacist was unnecessarily rude and dismissive from the beginning. Instead of helping resolve the issue, she immediately blamed my veterinarian and insisted there was a problem with the prescription, even though the prescription was current and valid. What made the situation worse was her attitude. Rather than explaining the process professionally or showing any willingness to help, she spoke in a condescending manner and acted as if the inconvenience was somehow my fault. As a pet owner trying to obtain necessary medication for my cat, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and customer service. A simple refill turned into an unnecessarily stressful experience because of the pharmacist's lack of professionalism and unwillingness to assist. I understand that pharmacies must follow procedures, but there is no excuse for treating customers disrespectfully. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I wanted to give a positive review for the sweetest person I met while trying to get an order done. Her name is Ayasari "Chariz". I had to fulfill a photo order on Thursday for my grandmothers funeral, and Chariz was so kind and helpful with my order. Unfortunately, the canvas printing machine was down, and I did not have my order in time. But her kindness made up for it. I tried to tip her but she said she couldn't take it. Also, the young female clerk with long straight hair in the middle register in the pick-up area was chomping on her gum the whole time. Rose, the store manager at Sylmar location was terrible. She was rude. She violated my privacy by doing something that was not in store written policy. When I questioned it, all she said was asking me to call the 800 customer service number. She sounds like noting to do with her and she had no responsibility as a manager to explain to the customer or make a report to the corporate management. Stay away from this CVS. read more

I attempted to call in a medication. Took a bit longer than usual. I called this in at 10am, had to wait almost until closing for the pickup. Found that to be a bit excessive. Absolutely awful customer service. I requested my Rx to be filled today on the phone. I was told it would be ready at 1. I showed up at 1:30 and it turns out they're out to lunch. I don't mind people taking lunch breaks or even closing during lunch, but the fact that it's not mentioned in ANY of their signage is poor customer service and lack of respect for their customers. Once they opened, the girl there and her hard to ignore 2 inch eye lashes tells me I have to wait another half hour. This I challenged by mentioning that I was told it would be ready 1. Her lack of empathy and her repeating the same thing several times to me as if I didn't understand her English was extremely condescending. Anyhow... Went for passport photo, needed digital copy that CVS website says they can do for an additional $3.99. The employees were very nice but had no clue how to do digital copy and that was even an option. Not sure how the environment works here but it's definitely a reflection of bad customer service. I'm pretty sure the female and male who were in charged of closing the night of the 12-26 were not having g a good day let alone a good holiday. I drove from Lancaster to Sylmar to pick up my mother's medicine because she was told there were not able to transfer the medicine to Lancaster and I came here running after work to get it. I was online exactly at 859pm and the guys told me he was taking care of the last customer he was with. I told him I drove from Lancaster from work because I was told today was my last day and I couldn't get it transfer. I even offer to show them my Drivers license to show I wasn't lying and they still wouldn't help. By now it's 9pm. As soon as the last customer got the receipt the female started to bring down the pharmacy gate. No compassion no customer service no care. This type of behavior gives you a glance of the horrible environment in this place. My husband needed to go back to the pharmacy to get a medication that they forgot to give him. When he got there, the pharmacy was closed due to a lunch break but there were employees there. He explained the situation and instead of receiving help with THEIR mistake, they were rude to him. When he asked to speak to a manager, the employees gathered together complaining Out loud infront of him about who was going to "deal" with him and were giggling. The lady tried to discriminate me for having two last names- like dude I'm Mexican and our culture has typically two last names. She was like "I didn't ask you." This is an update to a previous review. I spent today quite ill. The reason: I just started a fairly powerful anti-convulsant. The CVS tech that typed the label wrote to take two capsules. Turns out, I was only supposed to take one. This is not the first time they have made errors on the bottle instruction. Also, my prescriptions are routinely filled at least a month too early, and they tell me to come pick them up. They try and fill cancelled prescriptions. My wife just spent three hours waiting for a Rx that CVS Sylmar just could not seem to take the time to call the doctor because the pharmacist had a question. It seems like it is always something. Appointment for a shot? Yes, other comments are correct when they say they had a appointment but ran out (and did not bother to call the patient), the pharmacist is out at lunch so the appointment will be an hour late (but did not bother to call the patient), etc. I have experienced all of these. . Alas, my insurance makes me go here. Re: The Reviews: Have you noticed a pattern here? Most all the CVS pharmacies have a rating around 1.5 / 5. The rare high is 3 / 5. There is a reason, actually two reasons. First, the people working the pharmacy are hobbled by a corporation, CVS, that does not seem to care about anything but making as much $$$ as possible. This CVS store is dilapidated, there is always a tremendously long line, but what is especially bad is the customer service. They are without deviation the unfriendliest staff I've ever encountered at a pharmacy. Although not aggressively rude, they are just abrupt, impatient, they don't look you in the eye, no friendly greeting, no smiles, just a DISMAL experience every time. After several bad experiences, I've moved all my prescriptions to the Walgreens pharmacy on Glenoaks (2050 GLENOAKS BLVD. San Fernando, CA 91340), even though it is out of my insurance network and I pay slightly higher prices. Lol. read more

I don't think I've ever written a review cause it takes time out of my day and I'm a very understanding and forgiving person but this pharmacy has actually the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I called to get my prescription transferred here and the girl on the phone said I would be ready that day so I go to pick it up and when I walk up to the counter it looks like a bunch of high schoolers running the front counters. I tell them my prescription and the girl doesn't look me in the eyes at all and just says "yeaaaa we don't have it" and just walks off (just so rude??? Like why does she hate her job??) She comes back and I say "well I called you guys and said it would be ready and here" and she goes and says "well it says you have no more refills" (I went on my insurance app later and it said I had refills available) I just stare at her and say "that just doesn't make sense" she then tells me to go over to the drop off counter and see if this other girl can help me (she also looks like a kid) and she is very quiet (probably knowing they did mess up maybe she was the girl I was on the phone with) and says I have no more refills and they don't have it. The unprofessionalism there was just very weird. Moral of the story don't get ur prescriptions picked up here cause after I got in the car I called my doctor and they transferred it to a different cvs on San Fernando rd and I got it the next day easily and those people were very nice and professional. read more

Extremely unprofessional customer service at handling prescription drugs to the patients. You need to check your medication bags handed to you at the time of receiving from the cashier because they won't tell you if all the requested medications in the prescription are there or not. I went back for missing a medication in the sealed bag after arriving home and the excuse of the pharmacist was that the cashier don't see the list of the drugs in the prescription to match at the time of check out. Then who should let them know!!!? I guess the pharmacist or whoever wraps up the to go bag! Apparently the medication that was missing was not covered with my insurance so they did not bother to let me know to pay for it out of my pocket.
