I always use this Walgreens (on Floyd and Roselle) pharmacy. The staff has always been very friendly, and incredibly helpful. I do fill a good number of prescriptions monthly, so I have a lot of experience with this pharmacy. They go above and beyond, and have really made it easier to get my prescriptions. There are always long lines inside and at the drive thru window. Don't even try calling this pharmacy because you can never get through. You will be put on hold and then somehow disconnected. They also don't tell you if they are pending on something... whether the medication isn't in stock or it's an insurance related issue. I've had two separate cases when I needed medication for myself and my child and had to wait for both. My medication took a week and my child's took a few hours. They need more staff. read more

if i could put a 0, i would. This one worker who is tall, a boy who seems to be a teenager, and had curly hair or whatever... had such BAD services. It wasn't just once but twice I've went. Whenever I ask a question, he said "What" VERY rudely. Also doesn't seem friendly at all. When I bought something he gave me the wrong change and didn't even ask me if I needed the receipt! Thank god I immediately knew and went back to ask for the change. I hope he gets fired, he seems to NOT know anything he is doing as well. NOT even helping an elderly correctly, excuse you. Avoid. They've hit the point of understaffing where the shelf tags aren't correct, many displays are empty, and if you're in line behind the person who turns a 3-item purchase into a 40-minute transaction, there's no back-up cashier to save you. Why the lone cashier scrutinized me when I entered, then intentionally decided not to greet me, shall remain a mystery. I was dressed for business and fancy lunch, so I didn't look homeless. Since I'm a 6' tall woman, I may have struck him as looking like some other sort of person he disapproves of. I'm happy to solve that by not shopping this store. There are plenty of other drugstores scattered around town -- you're not missing anything by skipping this one. read more

It's absolutely ridiculous the last time I was here I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes.I asked to speak to the pharmacist because it's like this every time. He apologized and told me to circle back around and he would have my perception ready ........ I circle back around to the drive thru only 3 cars in front of me and I still had to wait another 50 minutes! I don't think I've ever waited under 45 minutes!! And you have to go through this twice once to drop off and then again to pick up. Why can't they at least just have some type of mail slot to drop off prescription??? They are never just going to fill your prescription when you drop off you always have to come back! Avoid this pharmacy. It is not worth the headache because you would wait half a day to get an aspirin. I was told my medications would be ready in 20 min and they would text. Four hours went by and I called, where I was "next in line" to talk to a representative and waited 45 min. My husband called the store while I was waiting to tell them to answer the phone. Well, they were on their meal break. Not a mention on the phone directory about it. I called Coffee road, they transferred my prescription and said come get it in 90 min. I'm pretty sure I have another review somewhere in here but I couldn't resist adding more to this awful place. Had a group appointment for two vaccines for three family members. It has now been almost an hour past our appointment time and we still haven't been called yet. This place is far from being the corner of happy and healthy. The pharmacy is totally under-staffed and there is usually only one pharmacist on hand. It's insane! This is part of the reason I moved all my prescriptions across the way to Raleys. There's never a line and they fill prescriptions immediately. Maybe I should think about getting my next vaccines over there too. Terrible customer experience. It took me 35 minutes just to get to the window and then I sat there 25 more minutes before anyone helped me. And when she did help me she was rude and didn't apologize for the long wait. I wish I could give the pharmacy negative stars. I was the third car in the drive thru and it took 30 minutes to get my prescription. They took so long I shut of my truck two times. While waiting at the window, I saw 4 pharmacy employees walk by completely ignoring me. When I was finally helped, I asked why it takes a half hour to get my prescription when there are 4 people walking around doing NOTHING and I get my prescriptions at Raleys across the street in 5 minutes, The person said each employee only has one specific function that they can do and that they are shorthanded. B.S. !!!! Look at all the posted reviews for the last several years. ALL of them complain about the abysmal "service". Don't bother complaining to Corporate. Been There, Done That. My first complaint was completely ignored and the second one I ignored the voice mail from the store manager. They KNOW what the problem is and are either incapable or apathetic toward trying to solve the problem. I have alteady transferred all of my prescriptions to the Raley's across the street. Need to make sure they can fill this specific one and then I will never darken this Walgreens ever again. It will have taken four separate trips to fill one prescription. Originally the prescription was never filled, but another one was, so I received a text that my prescriptions were ready, and no text notifying me that one of them wasn't ready. Their text notification system is crap. You end up having to call them anyway to check the status, which is another nightmare unto itself. You can reasonably carve out 15+ minutes of your life for that endeavor. Then, there was some problem with it having no refills, so they had to fax the doctor. Another day elapsed. Still nothing. I ask them to fax the doctor again. I call the doctor's office. They verify that they sent over the prescription. It should be ready six hours later, but no, according to their automated system. I have to talk to the staff again to do some type of override (no explanation given) and then FINALLY the prescription will be filled within the next couple of hours. I don't receive any notification that it's ready, but I go to pick it up at the quoted time and learn that they were only able to do a partial fill. I get it, sometimes you run out of stock, but seriously that's like four trips to the pharmacy just to get one prescription filled. It never seems to fail that there's some issue with something I'm trying to fill here. This place is also continually understaffed with long wait times. I wouldn't dare attempt the drive-thru. As a huge corporation I think they can be doing better. read more

Horrible service at the pharmacy. We had an appointment for booster shots at 12pm, arrived at 1150, waited for 10 mins. Then the pharmacy tech asked all the questions and said she's going to get paperwork ready, went to help the next customers instead. Please avoid this Walgreens at all cost. They have closed randomly in the past few months leaving me scrambling for my refills. My physician switched my meds suddenly and sent the prescription over to Walgreens on Floyd.. Of course when I arrive after work to pick it up, they're closed. When I couldn't get the information I needed I called directly. I waited and waited. After so long I was so invested in my time I continued to hold. There is a warning on the store window: Prescriptions filled in as little as 30 minutes. That really means you'll be in line for 30 minutes or more and when you finally talk to a clerk, it'll take a minimum of 30 more minutes to get your order. And that includes when Walgreens texts you that your prescription is ready for pickup. One time I was there, the police were there. I thought there may had been a robbery for narcotics but now I think it was some poor customer who couldn't wait any longer for their life-saving prescription to be filled. Walgreens management, you are over promising and under delivering. Please hire more staff. read more

Came in here after getting called, to come pick up my prescriptions, came up to the counter where in which 4-5 people behind just for them to close the door in my face and tell me that cant help me because they all had to take lunch at the same time? This place is awesome if you have something you need to do on your phone because the seats are just uncomfortable enough to be comfortable and the a/c is one click to high! This review is for the pharmacy only. I am saddened to see the service at our local pharmacy decline so poorly in the past few months. It is absolutely impossible to reach a customer service pharmacy tech at the store. The same recording telling you that there are more than 3 callers ahead of you plays over and over for hours. They have failed to fill my regular monthly prescriptions on time for several months. A few days ago they even told my husband they didn't know what had happened but could he come back in 30 minutes while they filled 1 prescription that had been submitted almost a week earlier. He works 15 hour days, so no, he could not, and should not have been expected to. Today after 5 days of being unable to reach them to make sure they have my 5 regular prescriptions ready when he gets off work, I decided to contact someone on the chat site. Attached is that conversation. Needless to say, Jennifer was of no help whatsoever. I decided then to call the corporate number for online customer service. I got a very friendly, and more than willing to help, gentleman. He attempted to call this store and also could not get through to the pharmacy and suggested I call the main store clerk. He also suggested I inquire as to why their service was so poor and lacking and why my prescriptions still had not been filled despite the ready by date and time indicated. I did call the store, and Vanessa was more than accommodating. She got me to the manager who informed me that due to a shortage in staffing and pharmacy techs and covid vaccines, the pharmacy is days behind in filling prescriptions. When I expressed how sad it made me to hear that covid vaccines were taking priority over regular prescriptions, especially for long standing customers such as myself, he agreed and understood my frustration. He indicated that their hands were tied since it was the corporate office that instructed them to get everyone vaccinated that came in first. My husband has been telling me to switch pharmacies for a while now and I think now I am going to have to satisfy his demand. This manager did place me on hold a couple of times but was able to secure a confirmation from the techs that all 5 prescriptions would be ready within the next two hours. I've actually received an alert that 3 of them are ready for pick up while typing this. Interesting. Of course they have shortened their hours this month to 7pm so I'll have to make sure my husband can get to them before they close since I am unable to drive myself. I can't stress enough how unacceptable this type of service is. Walgreens Pharmacy, you are messing with people's health and lives. Shame on you. read more

I don't know how this pharmacy is getting worse every time attempting to refill some prescriptions. Out of stock constantly on daily medications, notifications of prescriptions being filled and not ready (lost, misplaced) when you go to pick them up. Prescriptions statuses state you picked up things you haven't. I realize covid is interrupting so much time of this understaffed, minimally trained people, but when you have 3 people running in circles and only two customers, no excuse! I work in retail so I completely understand being understaffed, but this location is absolutely horrible ! I called 2 days before my presentation was due just to make sure everything was good to go because it's ALWAYS an issue, so the lady says everything is good , then again I call the day before she tells me she's having it noted to be filled and I can come tomorrow then I call day it's due to see what time I can pick up she says noon I arrive at 4 to find out it was NEVER filled ! Drove 40 min with my child in the car and then was told if I wanted to wait a few hours I could come inside! What ?! How is this ok? How is it ok that the person said it was filled but never was ? I've read so many reviews like mine! Why is nothing being done ? Do I need to go above and beyond to take this higher? This is medicine we pick up that keep some of us alive half the time I'm driving there sick just to be told nothing is ready ! And I wait 45min in the drive thru on a good day !!! Absolutely the worst phone service. After the phone tree, it rings at the pharmacy for a while. They then literally pick up the phone and put it on a new hold without saying anything. Then after that wait for 10 minutes, they transfer you somewhere where it's rings and rings for a minimum of 10 minutes and then it just hangs up. read more

I am a long time customer of Walgreens pharmacy of Floyd Ave, Modesto, California. The waiting time is becoming unbearably long in this pharmacy. Today is 11/18/2021. I dropped prescription in the morning, was told to pick up after 1 pm. I was there at 1:30pm the store closed assuming for lunch, but there was no sign to indicate this fact and the reopen time. I got in the store asking the cashier and was told the pharmacy will reopen 2:30. I was there early, hoping will get the first service. However, there were 3 cars in the line already. The store did not reopen at 2:30, but 2:45, and after opening, they did not serve the first customer until 2:55. Impatient customers honked, but it did not appear they heard or cared about it. Beside these, there is increasing mistakes made, witch result in longer waiting time. Poor management. read more

I have been using this pharmacy since 2013. If had given a review of this pharmacy the first three years of using it, I would have given it 5 stars. I don't think it is the pharmacy itself, or the corporation, but rather the pharmacist/management. I am a diabetic and war veteran being treated for PTSD. I have been receiving the same meds for over 20 years. I have had my refills delayed each month for the past six months, resuliting in my running out of meds. In the last year, this pharmacy has gone from being a really good responsive pharmacy to the bottom. Doctor prescribes certain meds with refills, and it takes days after the refill date to obtain certain meds. The refill snafus are selective, depending on the medication, regardless of the prescription. On occasion, I will visit my doctor; he will send over the prescription electronically, and I am notified via text and email that my prescription is ready. For certain refills, the refill date becomes selective by the pharmacist. Each time you call for an explanation, you receive a different excuse. They will arbitrarily change your refill date and make up some feeble excuse even when you are reading your refill history, auto refill, date last picked up etc. online. Place your refill online, and immediately get a response indicating they are processing your refill. Often days or weeks go by, and you either receive a notice that they "are processing the refill" and there is "no action required" on your part, or you receive nothing from them. After calling the pharmacy to inquire about the delays, you are bound to get a different excuse. It has become insulting. They will say you picked it up your previous refill on a certain date, even though you are looking at the pickup history on your online account and reading your receipt. I have run out of meds on several occasions because of this. They will tell you their own made up version of events, even if your prescription bottle, account information, their own print out information, your online account information are all indicating the date of information to the contrary. I have had them tell me that I did not submit the refill or pickup the refill on a certain date, even when I have written proof of the contrary right in front of me...reading it to them verbatim. I finally surmised that the pharmacist demonstrated that either I coulldn't read or was lying. The staff is nice, but the operation and management is simply inexcusably horrible and insulting. I have been staying with them of late because they have drive thru, but am looking either to switch to a different Walgreens with drive thru or switching to CVS. If you are at all capable of using a pharmacy other than the one on Floyd and Roselle, by all means do so. read more
