Makeup stores are usually intimidating to me. The employees can be snobby and make me feel insecure. Anyway, I am so glad I came in and am mad at my self that I didn't come in sooner! The store is conveniently located right by the entrance, which is great on them days you don't want to fight the mall crowed to get where you are going. The store is very clean and the decor is classy. They have got everything from glitter to lashes to gloss, oh... did I mention the glitter?! Tons of glitter, all colors! The gals there are so incredibly sweet and welcoming. I was greeted with a cheerful hello and a warm smile. Customer service is very important to me. Natalia was the person that helped me with my purchase. She was very knowledgeable and super funny. She helped me pick out the perfect lashes (some that don't hit my glasses) and helped me pick a perfect foundation to go with my oily skin. She also told me about there awesome sale that was going on that week. Can you believe all of their pallets were $6 each ?!?! All Of them!! No matter how big or small, only 6 bucks! It's safe to say I walked out of there with several! All are very pigmented and good quality. My visit to Glamify me was absolutely exceptional and my gal was a complete doll! Christmas is right around the corner and I'll be coming back for gifts/stocking stuffers for all the babes on my gift list. See you soon!

Stuff you don't see at Sephora across the way. A couple of brands they sell is Kim Chi Beauty and Kenia Ontiveros Beauty to name a couple. Very affordable makeup they sell. Lashes upon lashes they sell of all kinds. They don't have sell fragrances though. I wish they would though. There's a glitter bar if you want glitter for makeup to crafting. As for as eye shadows is concerned. Towards the back of the store. Is an eye shadow palette wall. The prices cannot be beat. The store's layout has a good flow. It's very clean especially during this pandemic. It's located in a corner spot of the mall only accessible from the outside in the newer outdoor edition of the mall. Plenty of free mall parking. It's a little bit on the small side, but it has what you are looking for.

That is how I like to think of myself. While I definitely practice brand loyalty for many products and certain makeup, I do like to experiment with other lines. I was pleasantly surprised when Macy's of Modesto opened up an Impulse Beauty department. While they would never say so, the premise is quite similar to Sephora. The department features many brands that are considered to be "boutique" brands and have never been carried in Macy's stores before. Brands like Stila, Peter Thomas Roth and Bliss are now available. I needed to pick up a brush replacement head for my Clarisonic brush, which really is a must by the way. I usually go to another store to pick up the replacements, but since I was at Macy's anyway, I thought I would check to see if they carried them. Thankfully they did. The only thing they didn't have that I was looking for was a new Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Shockingly the clerk was not familiar with the line. I mean, any girl who reads Vogue knows Shu Uemura as the BEST eyelash curler ever. Fact. Oh well. No one is perfect. ;) I will definitely be back though to pick up other beauty essentials like Philosophy shower gels and eye cream. Oh, and Bliss lotions among other things.... ;)

Merged together a few years back, this shopping 1-2 punch was genius by some executives. We love to come get great deals, then swing by the Sephora for Sol products. It is like they are the female version of Pokémon, and my daughter has to collect them all. Huge parking lot, good selection here, but do not always carry all new releases of products.
