With his broken English and misunderstanding self, he kept on agreeing at he knew what hair we wanted, but instead when he showed it to us it wasn't the correct one. Then he had the audacity to say it was discontinued. These Hispanics like to look at you in suspension, so don't be coming in here looking all silly in the face. Plain faces are needed. There's a security guard that stands in the front of the store. The prices seemed reasonable for what I noticed. The parking lot is huge, so there's plenty of parking and the lot isn't filled with potholes.

Asked the cashier if I would be able to get a refund if the hair didn't match or work...she said yes, just bring back the receipt. 4.20.14 I tried to return, they were closed for Easter 4.21.14 I tried to return and the same cashier said, "what, you want ALL your money back?". I said, "ummmmmm, yesssss". She said, "the manager has to do it.". I said, "please call your manager.". She said, "she doesn't come until after 6pm tomorrow.". I said, "that's ridiculous.". I left. 4.26.14 I called and asked was the manager in. They said, "no". "Well when are you expecting her?", said April. They said, "tomorrow after 6". I hung up. 4.28.14 I showed up at 5 and waited 15 minutes watching a different cashier (I'm assuming the manager) give a refund to a customer. Yes it took them 15 minutes to manually count and figure her refund. My turn. "Are you the manager?". "I'm the assistant manager", she says. I give a long deep sigh. "Are you able to do refunds?". "Yes". (Confused looked). "Oh, great... because on such and such day, the following happened...". She says, "I don't know why she (the original cashier) just didn't come get me, I could have started your refund process, blah blah blah blah"... SMH. She starts the refund then someone from the back of the store says, "the manager is coming." The assistant manager says, "Oh okay, we will wait on her"...I'm still SMH. Manager comes in, "What!?!"...The assistant manager then says, "this customer needs a refund.". She (the manager) looks upset, takes a deep sigh, grabs receipt from the assistant manager, grabs hair packages and looks them inside out. Then she said, "where'd you buy this from?"...I said, "seriously?"! She didn't crack a smile and repeated, "where'd you buy this"...assistant manager says, "that's our product; it's over there"...then she said, "Where'd you get this receipt?"................................................................ The story goes on and on with us exchanging words. Somehow I remained quite calm given the circumstances; using words to ward off her ignorance. At one point, I began recording the conversation with my video app on my smart phone. She then became more irate when she realized I was recording her and I threatened to call the cops on her if she didn't refund my money. Some guy came from the back of the store as if he was going to do something to me for saying I was going to call the cops. This story ended with me telling her that I will hit her were it hurts by affecting her bottom line and she said, you can try it but it won't work. This business has screen shots of video footage of customers who have had checks to bounce plastered all over the outside of her door - the first sign that I shouldn't have shopped there but seeing as though I don't frequent stores like that, I overlooked a lot of obvious facts. This place is bad for business. There is absolutely NO REASON to tolerate that kind of crap as a paying customer. I was livid and it took me my whole 15 minute drive home to start calming down. All for a $25 refund. Somethings just aren't worth your emotions but I urge you not to shop Hair Plus Beauty Supply in Jackson, MS.

Now, I will admit that my review is a tad limited since I only frequent the downstairs (?) non-surgical part of the clinic but if you are a purveyor of facial services, you need to check out Faces! I'm a huge fan of dermaplane--you can see results immediately as it removes hair and dead skin from the face. I've had this service done at a few places in the Jackson area and can confidently say that Faces, specifically Ms. Marilyn, provides you with the most thorough treatment. She is so unbelievably thorough! She is the only person who has changed the dermaplane blade 2-3 times during my session--I'm Indian, I have a lot of hair, and so, it's expected that the blade would need to be changed and she is the ONLY PERSON in the Jackson area who delivers such extensive and precise service. Oh, and the price is so reasonable for the attention you receive. My sister sees Leta for hydrofacials. I opted for the hydrofacial once and felt that my skin was immediately hydrated and she helped my breakouts calm down. She is just as thorough and dedicated to making your skin glow as Ms. Marilyn! With all the contouring, bronzing, eyebrow filling that's trending, you definitely need to check these ladies out to make sure your 'canvas' of a face is well prepped!
