I was visiting Jackson, MS from Texas, for a work trip, and had an upcoming vacation, where I was meeting up with someone very special. My nails were looking worse for wear, and I NEEDED to get them done! I've had nail PTSD from a local Texas salon, and was super hesitant to try somewhere else, nonetheless out of town. After reading carefully the reviews and consulting with my girlfriends, I chose Nancy's. Nancy's nail spa is everything a nail salon promises to be. Clean, beautiful, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am a shy person, but everyone, from staff to patrons were warm. This is a REAL salon. Getting your nails done is supposed to be a pampering experience. How often have you gone to a salon and the workers were cold and you felt like you were inconveniencing them? Not at Nancy's. I felt like a local and had to be honest, the best nail experience of my life. Michelle did a beautiful job on my nails. I had some nail splits on my thumbs, and she repaired them really nicely. She gave me advice on how to continue to grow/repair them from my botch job in Texas, and was very kind throughout it all. I kept saying, "I feel like a lady!" after she was done as she really made me look and feel great! I hope I get sent to Jackson again for work real soon... so I can return to Nancy's for a manicure! read more

Okay I was in Jackson for work and really needed a pedicure, so of course I Yelp'd it and found Nancy's. I called ahead and was told to give it 30 minutes, which I did and when I walked in I was seated Ina chair pretty quickly. Massage chair going, I don't really mind waiting for a nail tech, it took maybe 15 minutes, and Nancy did my nails! The pedicure itself was good, but the culture of the place was awesome - I felt as if I was family here. If I lived in Jackson, this would be my go to salon. Nancy and the other staff were funny and welcoming and made me feel like I was with friends. Man O Man I needed that being so far away from friends and family (I was in Jackson on business). Nancy and her sister were even from San Jose, like me so SMALL world! I digress, I opted for a manicure as well while I was there (boy I needed it) and fingers and toes look awesome and feel great. I was driving through Mississippi and realized my feet were desperately in need of some TLC. Yelp reviews pointed me to Nancy's, so I set my GPS for the salon for a pedicure. I was able to walk in and get seated a massage chair immediately after choosing hundreds colors. The technician removed what was left of my old polish, gave me a fantastic foot and calf massage, and used what looked like a cheese grater on the soles my very battered and overused hiker's feet to make them look better than they have since I was a kid! This is a great nail salon located down the street from the Highland Village Shopping Center. I have come here a few times to get a pedicure and I am always very happy with the results. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They always greet me with a smile! They will also provide you with water if you ask for some. There is a tv which is always tuned to HGTV, which I love and lots of magazines to flip through. They also have a lot of different nail polish colors to choose from and a lot of gel colors as well. A pedicure treatment usually takes around 30-40 minutes and they take their time to make sure your feel and nails look good which I appreciate. I have always stopped in during what I imagine to be less busy times and have had a great experience. I am so glad they are in this neighborhood and I will be returning for more pedicures in the future! read more

Although I rarely am in the area so iris not my 'go to' shop I did have a great laugh and warm welcome while my nails were tended to. Got a pedicure ($30) & a gel mani ($35) and they were both very average to poor. Nail tech kept getting polish all over my toes and my nails. She also was unable to fix the slightly ingrown toenails instead insisting that the pain must be from something else. The gel mani got all over my hands & the top coat even was touching the skin of my fingers leaving an awkward extra lump of polish. The prices are reasonable but not for the level of service received. I came in with high hopes as several friends love Nancy & their nails look great, but unfortunately my experience did not live up to expectations. read more

Nancy's is the place to go! I haven't had a regular manicurist to go to in quite some time. I feel like I've been hopping around from salon to salon with mishap after mishap. I thought I would give this one a shot after reading other reviews on yelp. I came in with the remnants of a gel manicure gone wrong, sat in Nancy's chair, and after 30 minutes, my nails felt happy again. I was so pleased. To top it off, there wasn't a single bad mood in the joint. All of the girls were happy, laughing and having good conversation. It was an overall wonderful experience and I couldn't be happier!
