The employees were rude, short with customers, and acted as though taking orders was an inconvenience. To make matters worse, they were out of the product I came in specifically to order. While waiting for my smoothies, I observed food handling practices that genuinely concerned me. I personally watched an employee begin cutting strawberries without washing her hands first, and she was not wearing gloves while handling and placing the cut strawberries into storage containers. I also observed yogurt being scooped without gloves. The store itself appeared clean, but based on what I witnessed, proper food handling did not seem to be a priority during my visit. The same employee did not appear to have on shorts with her uniform shirt. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident because this location has always been excellent in the past.
