The service at this pharmacy is the absolute worst. I called this afternoon to make sure my prescription was ready. Showed up to pick up and the technician was incredibly rude and told me to come back tomorrow. You would think they would get their act together considering all the complaints they've received. This is a pharmacy review. I called the local Glenview Walgreens telephone number, spoke to a polite lady who told me the medication we were calling in was in stock at this Walgreens and would be ready in less than an hour. I arrived two hours later and was told that they in fact never had it in stock, and that it was a call center I spoke with who made the mistake. Furthermore, if I had known earlier that they were out of stock, I could have called another pharmacy before they had all closed. Nice job Walgreens. read more

Every time I come here I really like how quiet it is because the one up the street near my house is one huge social gathering you walk in hearing all the employees running their mouths about stuff that really does not need to be discussed on the job. I don't see that at this location and everyone is doing their work and not spending it all day chatting with each other. I also like how cashiers ask if you found everything you needed and that's a selling point for customer service with me some locations I've gone to the cashier won't even so much as say hello how are you? This is one of the cleanest locations for Walgreens that I've also been to. read more

Horrible Pharmacy. If you don't like your job quit! Why is the first thing you say it'll take 2-4 to fill a prescription when you already said you had it in hand. My 4 year old son was not feeling well, so I took him to the doctor for asthma, fever and upper respiratory tract infection. My little boy was already tired from the doctor's appointment. He was very cranky and was running a fever. I went to Walgreens to pick up the prescription. I know I had to go inside to pick it up, as I have to buy Children's Tylenol too. My son started crying and refused to walk. I didn't have a stroller with me. My son is pretty heavy about 44 lbs. I don't think I can make it to the counter from the parking lot. I called Walgreens and told them about the situation. They took care of my order and I was able to pick it up from the drive through. I love their customer service :) read more

Unable to get my bill correct for a flu shot from 2019. Will not use again! Pathetic pharmacy!

The pharmacy here is ridiculous! there's ALWAYS a long line, even after 10 pm on a Sunday. they don't have enough staff and the computer system always seems to have problems. it take about 20 minutes to pick up a prescription. staff is apologetic, but they need more help and a better system. Bring a book and a lawn chair so you can wait in line. read more

Love this Walgreens! It's always super organized and clean and it has a HUGE cosmetics area! They also always have fresh fruit sandwiches and salads which I've never seen at any other Walgreens. The staff is always willing to help if you can't find something. read more

This review is about the pharmacy inside this Walgreens. It is always under-staffed. The prescription is hardly ready in-time. Always there is a queue for pick-up/drop-off. The queue never moves fast. Even if there are many senior people (age 80+) in the queue, a 9th month pregnant women in the queue (which I was when I was carrying my baby) , there is NO priority-based/quick service. Everyone stands in the queue for a long time. They do not send notifications on your phone as soon as a prescription is ready for a pickup (other Walgreens locations do). Note to the owners/administrators of this locations : Please increase your pharmacy staff. People standing in the queue are waiting for their medicines and it is not any movie theater queue. They're or might be already going through a lot. You can contribute in a positive way and make their experience a good one. Please increase your staff. read more

Zero if I could this is by far the worse WAlgreens EVER!!!!! Whenever you called you st on hold for at least 45 mins to an hour. Now they actually have a service that answers their calls however its the same old same old NOOO HELP. It takes an entire day to get something filled at pharm if your lucky. Went there last week and stood in line for well over 45 mins. They had a one point all of the clerks helping the vaccine line which they have a separate window for which you really have zero wait while the people standing in foor a medication re not served. Was stupid enough to go back for a prescription tonight and here we go again 8 people in line while they for at least 10 mins only helped the vaccine check ins. I actually took pictures of this had 8 people in front of me today and never moved. I walked out and went into the drive thru and got my prescription in short time Only reason I didnt go there first was I needed some store items. Guess what didnt spend any money there and will NEVER AGAIN. Morris the head pharm is a big JERK and so rude. Done here going to CVS!! read more

I was dispensed a medication that was not in alignment with my doctors orders. I have no idea why it was not dispensed as written nor why i was not informed why the directions were not followed. In summary I have had bad side effects from this and am under a doctors care right now. This is unacceptable in an environment where precision and health is crucial! This pharmacy is overwhelmed and the lines are always very long to pick up any prescriptions. The pharmacists always appear overwhelmed. The wait on the phone to speak to a pharmacist is well over 20 minutes. Isn't the Walgreens leadership team reviewing the feedback and the negative ratings? Perhaps my situation with a wrong drug dispensed and what I am going through now will call their attention finally. Whether it is a bandwidth issue and the team being stretched or a competency issue it needs to be resolved ASAP! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. If you have a choice don't get your medicine from here. They are understaffed and usually the wait is long and understandably the staff members are not very nice to customers because they are constantly under pressure. The dysfunction of the pharmacy is MIND-BOGGLING! We are new to the area and all four of our four attempts to have our scripts filled have been bungled in some way. This evening? Someone "forgot" to execute the auto-refill. I have lived in the Chicagoland area for 38 years and have been coming to various Walgreens without issue for as long as I can remember. No more. The Walgreens store is exactly as it is expected plus more. The personable and friendly sales associates greet us and are always willing to help me find what I need. The regular ladies are always helpful and ready to answer questions. I am here quite often during different times of the day and find the business continues to provide the goods and knowledgeable staff. Kudos to the makeup department sales lady. My daughter and I love to find her and say hello on our way to the pharmacy. I have to also increase the star rating of the pharmacy as well and do not hesitate when sending in my prescriptions or asking the docs to fax here. Quick tips and coupons come my way from the pharmacy department and the many dealings I have had makes me confident to shop here. The pharmacy is open 24 hours along with the store. Watch out when crossing through the parking lot. You can easily find yourself trying to dodge a Soccer mom in her minivan, but do not worry, it's not me. My kids play piano! read more

COUNT YOUR PAIN PILLS!!! Twice I had to refill prescriptions for pain medication after dental surgery and both times they bottles were a pill short. Never happened with my non-pain meds. When I called the Walgreens headquarters they said they would invesitgate and call back but never did. read more

It's being completely remodeled. I felt like I was in an entirely different store. They are expanding the store and they completely turned the entire store around. I saw the other rating and I must say that I completely disagree with the star value. Yes, the other person's situation was not nearly as wonderful as mine was, but I have to give a good thing it's dues when it is a good thing. And this Walgreens is great. My baby girl came down with a nasty looking eye infection on New Years Eve. Being nervous first time parents, we called the doctor and he prescribed some goop to put in her eye and make all the crusty stuff go away (oh, what fun things you get to think about being a parent!)...Being NYE, and considering that I live close to a troglodyte filled Walgreens, I didn't want to go there to pick up her prescription. The doctor suggested that I go to the Glenview location instead (since he knew it was 24 hours). I drove over there and decided to go inside instead of going through the drive-thru (which they also have). I walked into quite possibly the largest, most well-lit, beautiful Walgreens I've seen in quite some time, and you know that I'm a Walgreens aficionado. I found the pharmacy counter quickly, and the pharmacist told me that my prescription wasn't ready yet, but it would be soon. Five minutes later, after I'd looked at some of their wonderful face creams, I picked up the prescription and went back home to celebrate NYE with my family. If I could give negative stars, I would. I don't mean to pile on, but this is THE WORST PHARMACY I've ever been to. Unfortunately it's taken me far too long to "break up with" them, but literally the ONLY reason I didn't stop using them sooner was because they are open late. They have screwed me over more times than I can count and many times I had an infant with me who was screaming, in need of medicine, a nap, a bottle, a diaper change or all of the above. They are ALWAYS slammed, it's ALWAYS a shitshow and I NEVER see a happy transaction there. And that's when I'm just observing the angry people in front of me while I waited...and waited....and waited. I do not understand how they cannot get their shit together after what I imagine is a constant stream of complaints. I was honestly even told by a floating pharmacist working there for the day that this place is a disaster. Why I went there tonight? I don't know. Maybe it was because I spent the entire day in the ER with my 6 month old who has pneumonia, I was told to get his antibiotic for him tonight and this was the only pharmacy (that I knew of) that was open. I waited 45 minutes for my baby's prescription after I walked in at 9:15 and told them he was waiting in the car. Unbelievably terrible service again and again. Please do not go here ever. I fill my prescriptions at Walgreens and used to regularly at this location. Now I go to the Walgreens at Glenview and Greenwood even though this is closer. Why? Because on 2 separate occasions they incorrectly filled my son's prescription. On the second occasion I caught it before leaving the pharmacy by checking my bag and while they did swap it for the correct prescription, they never even apologized. Incorrectly filling prescriptions is the absolute worst and most dangerous mistake a pharmacy can make but they are human. But when it happened a second time in a 3 month period and they didn't apologize, that is when this location permanently lost my business. read more
