They in the past have been super slow answering the phone and filling Rxs. Today it was filled in just about two hours so much better except for the 15 minute wait while they figured out how to enter the instance card into the system. Seriously this is what you do all day and you takes 15 minutes and two separate people to get it to work? No wonder things are always so far behind and slow here! I recently purchased 3 boxes of Lindt Mini Pralines from the Walgreens website using a sitewide discount. Before placing the order, I checked local store availability and saw that the Wheeling location had 3 boxes in stock. I chose in-store pickup, and my husband picked up the order from the Wheeling store on 7/3/25. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 boxes turned out to be expired. Since the Wheeling store only had those 3 boxes at the time of my order, I had no option but to visit another Walgreens to exchange the expired items. I went to the Glenview Walgreens at Pfingsten & Willow. I found 3 unexpired boxes on the shelf and brought 2 to the counter for an even exchange. The manager, Mo, initially said exchanges had to be done at the original store. After I explained the situation, he agreed to sell me 2 new boxes at the same discount and eventually accepted the expired ones for return at Glenview, saving me a frustrating third trip. Both the associate and Mo were polite and handled the situation well, even though the issue wasn't caused by their store. I gave them 5 stars for customer service. That said, Walgreens should do a better job checking expiration dates. There was still a box on the Glenview shelf expiring 7/31/25. Just a heads-up to check dates before buying! read more

This Walgreens is located in the Glenbrook Marketplace, and it seemed to have been recently remodeled - the place is bright and seemed to be well-organized. There was a good selection of Squishmallows, snacks, and drinks - however, make sure you look at the expiration dates, as some of the snack bag on sale were only a couple of days away from going 'bad'. I did notice that there was some weird sour type of odor when you walk in, so not sure what that was all about - hoping that they can address this soon. I was able to find some Arizona beverages on sale, so I stocked up. Staff were friendly, and the checkout was pretty efficient. Walgreens on Pfingsten & Willow is the most AWFUL pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. They are IMPOSSIBLE to reach by phone. EVERY MONTH is the same; NOBODY answers the phones. On hold for over an hour (sometimes someone picks up; they place me back on hold, saying nothing; over and over again until someone hangs up) and nothing. I spoke to shift leaders who told me they are just very busy. They are no busier than any other location - not even close. It has taken me a full week and a phone call to corporate to finally obtain my refill. I have had to physically go to this location just to fill/refill/inquire, etc. When I am there, I see the phones are completely ignored while there are PLENTY of employees. Nobody there speaks on a professional level; Regular Walgreens employees that DO NOT belong working in a pharmacy. It is an abomination these people have been entrusted to hold such a position to service sick patients; This Walgreens location does NOT promote health. In fact, these employees/pharmacists cause anxiety, loss of money and time every single month! This location has NO BUSINESS servicing people dealing with health issues! read more

This review is specifically for Linda who works at the Pharmacy. Absolutely wonderful service and someone who actually appears to enjoy her work. From the beginning, she remembered the person who was standing behind me and his wife and asked how she was doing by name and from memory. As I was checking out, she asked me about my insurance and I gave her my info but for whatever reason, it wouldn't take the info. I told her I had to leave and pick up my child and the prescription wasn't that much so not a big deal. But she insisted that she would figure it out. She calls me within 30 minutes to tell me that she figured it out and that they would refund it back to my credit card. Wonderful and I appreciated the effort. read more

I loved this Walgreen's manager, pharmacists , and part time staffs, too. They always are all friendly. But I met woman(cashier) who long hair , ponytail and red lip today first time. The rudest pharmacist. I just got home from major surgery and i saw on the directions that I should take 1/2 a pill. I called the pharmacist to see what to do and he said I needed a pill cutter. I told him it would have been nice to tell me at the time when I picked up my medicine. Then he said that it is not his responsibility to tell patients how to take medicine. Towards the end of August I had a nasty fall on the sidewalk outside this Walgreens - my own fault. The store employees came to my rescue, calling 911. One employee hopped in her car and went to retrieve my husband who was walking to the store (I had our only car with me)! The response from those employees was stunningly helpful. Later the insurance carrier for the store checked in with me to be sure I was OK. No lasting injuries for me but a lasting appreciation for the attention I received that afternoon from those Walgreens employees. (I also took them a box of candy closer to the event). read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are the absolute worst when it comes to the pharmacy and customer service. They tell me my script will be ready in 2 hrs but when I show up, I find out it's not even in stock and won't come in until the next day. So I show up the next day and of course they still don't have it, it will come in the following day. So now two days without my inhaler and they DON'T CARE. I'm put on hold for forever and it feels like they just don't want to help. They blameshift and always have excuses of why they can't do their job. It's a pathetic excuse for a pharmacy. I was being rung out for my items and had asked the cashier to check on the price of one of the items. She started to huff under her breath like she was being inconvenienced. I asked her to ring the 2 items to see what the price was as it was under the BOGO, but looked it was under the wrong sign and if that was the case, we could just take one off. She swore the F word out of frustration because she couldn't figure out how to void one of the items and I was appalled and completely shocked. She called up a manager and as she did that she dropped the F word AGAIN. The manager came up and I told him what the employee just did and he ignored me and just walked to the other register. I've never been so blatantly disrespected like that before. This is not the only time that I have experienced the worst customer service at this location. I told him I would be notifying corporate and he just said, she's a trainee. Even if it was her first day, nobody should be treating a customer like that ever. read more

Absolutely horrible pharmacy experience. Took an hour to get a vaccine shot even with an appointment. Very inefficiently run, there were at least 5 people working and they would take a few vaccine appointments and then not taken any for 30 minutes. There was no rhyme or reason to how they were running appointments. Strongly suggest you don't go here. read more

Worst Walgreens ever!! It has always taken a long time trying to pick up my prescriptions but I dealt with it since they built the drive through. Today I had my kids in the car and had to pick up my sons medication so I went to the drive through. There was 1 car in front of my so I figured it would only take a few minutes. 15 MINUTES later and that car is still sitting there with no activity except for talking to the pharmacist (???!!) Generally, they are under staffed, so you can wait 39-40 minutes for a pickup of meds that we called in days prior. The pickup window is very slow & never a thank you or a smile. Basing this review off of the facilities Pharmacy. We have been here several times and have always had some hiccup or glitch with the pharmacy. The first glitch was where they gave my girlfriend's neighbor her prescription by mistake. Really weird because I don't think they sort prescription pick ups by address. So I hung up called back had to go through automated stuff again and then waited 15 mins to speak to someone. Person was very polite and helpful. The wait for the prescription was an hour. I've been to this Walgreens location close over 100 times, as I live nearby. Every time I've been there, I've been treated nicely and respectfully. There are always short lines and plenty of parking spaces. They've got great prices on almost everything in the store and are always fully stocked with great quality merchandise. The whole pharmacy staff is knowledgeable, quick and efficient. You can go in with a prescription and be out with the drugs in less than 10 minutes. I love the little clearance section they have in the store, as well as the way this store executes the Walgreens creed of friendliness and convenience. read more

Sent over a picture to be printed from my computer from home, one chilly day in December. The computer said that it would be ready to be picked up at 8:16. Went in at around 10:30 to pick up the picture, and was told that I already picked up the picture I ordered in OCTOBER. They never got the order from offline, and didn't care to help with anything else. I got very irritated and quickly turned around and left. Incapable troglodytes. As far as Walgreens go this one gets C+ at best. The positives for this place is that they are clean and well stocked. But the parking lot is a nightmare. It doesn't look like a problem when you first pull up but I advise NOT trying to get a close spot. Do yourself a favor if you need to come here and park out a bit. Cars are constantly cramped trying to get in and out of spaces, blocking each other, and trying to get on and off the street which is right by the first parking lane. Another problem with this place is that the same guy is always at the register and he PUSHES candy on you like his life depends on it. They cram the top of the counter with the stuff and he asks if you want to buy it every single time you're there... Even if you're already buying candy from elsewhere in the store! And if you say no he always throws in an "are you sure?" I don't understand if this guy gets commission on candy or what. read more
