Don't ever go here because they're liars who don't even give a crap to do anything for your well being. I said I would be making a review and here I am. It literally happened only moments ago and is very stressful when I am told their is Nothing they can do for me when I lost my vaccination card as if you're supposed to have it at all times. I am sure their are many people who misplace something even important stuff from time to time. Luckily the DMV isn't like walgreens or everytime I lost my ID card I would be shit out of luck anywhere. And yes lady, I got all my vaccinations plus the booster unfortunately, through walgreens. I Placed an online order for 2 very basic Olay products on 8-5. I called Again today after 6 days & was told "I dont know" & Maybe Monday, which will make it 8 days. If I was asking for a certain Size, or Color, maybe, but these are off the shelf everyday items. Ridiculous :( Guess I'll try CVS. After 10! days, Order says will be ready in 1-3 days. I like this Walgreens location in general, as it's convenient and not too busy. Pharmacy service quality really depends on what pharmacists and staff are working there when you come by because some are helpful and go above and beyond, and some are rude. They have good discounts but employees need to be made aware of the discounts and how to help customers redeem them. (I was told to call customer service myself when I was in the store.) This is a review for the pharmacy: My husband and I needed to get typhoid shots for an international trip coming up. We tried another Walgreens location, but they didn't have enough of the vaccine in stock. We ended up going to this location after calling to make sure they had enough, and everything went smoothly. It only takes about 10 minutes or so to give your info and let them prepare. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The shots were painless and I felt very comfortable there. No complaints here. And I believe the price is pretty decent (about $96 per shot) and you get a couple dollars off with a Walgreens reward card as well. I'd recommend them to anyone needing vaccines and would come back myself. read more

Today I called to confirm that they did passport photos, the guy cheerfully stated that they did and that I could just come in, no appointment or anything. i originally noticed this place because of the bright lights and that they're open 24hrs. it reminded me a lot of vegas. i guess i'm easily amused. i came by finally because i had a coupon for some Charmin and Bounty. i figured its down the street so i checked it out. i would like to give them the benefit and say they were having an off day. the place was not very well kept. it was around 2 in the afternoon, but, it seemed like they were stocking the entire store. they had a ladder out in one of the aisles and stuff just looked disorganized. i also noticed, as i walked up and down the unorganized aisles, that the prices were kind of steep for common everyday stuff. things like miralax, and cereal and chili and regular paper towels etc.... maybe i'm just spoiled, but, my old CVS had those yellow tags showing the discounted price on a lot of items. here it was only pretty much the stuff i was looking for. they may want to consider their marketing style. i'm a sucker for random purchases if something catches my eye. NSM this day. on a side note, my cashier was a really helpful and knowledgeable dude. he knew when the sale was over on some cheap milk. cool enough. read more

Check your receipts carefully! Try to avoid this store if at all possible. While the cashiers and salespeople are helpful, especially in cosmetics, the day manager leaves a lot to be desired. Using one of their coupons I discovered the coupon wasn't scanning correctly and I wound up being overcharged by $5.00. Returning to the store the next day with merchandise, receipt and copy of their advertised coupon, I showed the manager the mistake. What a crappy attitude! After verifying that I wasn't trying to rip them off, he didn't say a word when he refunded me the difference. No apology, no smile, no "thanks for letting us know". I asked him if he was going to let the cashiers know about the glitch and he didn't say a word to me. If this were one of my employees, they would have been fired on the spot! SERIOUSLY, you will need to count out your prescription before you walk or drive away from the pharmacy. Otherwise, there's a good chance you'll have to schlep back to retrieve what's missing. I don't know what's going on there recently (I've been going for years), but this has happened to me twice in just a few months - separate incidents where either more than half or a third of the prescription was missing. The first time, a kind gentleman made it easy and simply replaced what was missing at no charge. I overlooked the hassle of having to schlep back to the pharmacy and was glad he at least made good. Today, I called to let them know that this had happened for the second time, now aggravated that I'd have to repeat my trip yet again. This time, a very rude woman said she would investigate, count their inventory, etc. She stated that there was video, and I was thinking, "great! now we can get to the bottom of what keeps going wrong here." But now it occurs to me that she meant it as a warning, as though I wasn't telling the truth. Five hours later, she called and stated that the inventory was correct - which means nothing, given that this didn't necessarily mean that the full prescription was handed over to me. She also claimed to have watched the video , which I find hard to believe. She overtalked me and was extremely rude and argumentative. It appears that she hasn't caught on to the idea that businesses have recognized the value of good customer service, and what it contributes to a company's bottom line. read more

I've had to walk out on this Walgreens twice while waiting to get checked out. I get paid more than $35 an hour, if it takes me more than 15 minutes to get checked out for a $10 purchase, then it makes more sense economically for me to just steal the items. I come down here often and I often want to use the Walgreens, however, I just can't bring myself to wait that long to make a simple purchase. It's not that the customer service is rude, it's just not there. They are shortstaffed and this is a management issue. If they can fix this this would be an awesome store. read more

Received voucher from my doctor for a flu shot, got to the pharmacy shortly before they opened at ten on Sunday, only to find out they do not start giving flu shots till 11:30. Nothing on the website stating that, nothing on the Walgreen voucher and no signs at the pharmacy stating flu shot times. Will not return to this Walgreens. I am only reviewing the pharmacy - and they deserve 5 stars. I have visited pharmacies all over LA in my many years living here, especially after having 2 young children who constantly are in need of an antibiotic or some sort of medication. This particular pharmacy is super organized, always on time, has short lines, and everyone working there is friendly. And whenever I call with a question on my prescription- someone actually answers the phone!! Everywhere else I would just get a recording or was put on hold for several minutes. Unfriendly, disorganized and incompetent. The last three times I've had to deal with them have been a nightmare and which I why write this. I figured if something doesn't work favorably for me that it could just be that time...but when it repeated itself I figured it was a real problem. I am fortunate that this is not life threatening circumstances, but I still receive grief. For example, I am leaving the country for a bit...and wanted to get a refill for my prescription. They said no...the doctor said one refill, which didn't make sense. She was very curt and unhelpful to boot. So, I made an appointment...drove to La Crescenta. Came back...and guess what? Two days later...I get a recording saying that my prescription is ready. This has happened too many times for it to be an anomaly. Stay away! read more

Some of them have been pleasant enough, but 80% of my visits have made me feel very unappreciated and an inconvenience over stupid things like paying with cash. It doesn't take much to extend a little customer service. However the lack of energy to stay open the extra minute as I was running through their front door to pick up a prescription and the multitude of excuses the manager, Vincent and the pharmacy staff gave to not give that little bit of customer service, just shows their lack of experience and professionalism in a customer service driven industry. I not only ran in one minute after they closed, but I also called 10 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing, only to be put on hold twice and when the pharmacy staff finally picked up, I explained that we were only 2 blocks away and if they can just wait. But she was "I'm sorry, but the manager comes and takes the register away and there's nothing she can do." I then asked to speak to the manager, only to be put on hold again, but by this time, I got to the store. So I ran in and as I was still on hold, I asked to speak to the manager. Vincent, the manager, apologized but the pharmacy was closed, at 9:03. I'm sorry that at 9:03, you felt it was too much energy for you to extend a little bit of customer service to wait two minutes as I was running into your store. I'm sorry that your manager, and pharmacy staff is weak in that area. I would recommend that the pharmacy staff and employees of the El Segundo Walgreens take a few classes in customer service and Vincent take a few classes in management. But, that might also be too much energy for you to expend. Thank you, but no more. After 30 years in El Segundo and giving my business to you since the day this store opened, the lack of professionalism and customer service is a trend here and I'm not wasting any more of my time and money to support this store and its employees. Rite Aid is open and has a pharmacy, and I've heard the pharmacy staff at Ralph's are very accommodating. You can also do your grocery shopping while waiting for your prescription. read more

This is the WORST Pharmacy near LAX. They never have any prescriptions in stock. Even when calling in a refill and confirming they have a month's supply to fill my prescription, they always partial fill, for only 3 days. The people behind the counter act like it is no big deal saying that I can pick up the rest the following day. I tell them that I am on my lunch break and do not have time to come back and that I will be back the next week. They do not have the courtesy to contact me to inform me that I will have to wait to receive a full month's prescription. This has happened three (3) of my last refills. Today, I went in and they gave me three days instead of a month again. I told them to cancel that order and that I will like my other prescription. She wanted me to wait to the side so she can help other customers before she would cancel the one order. I refused and told her to cancel my entire order. I am now transferring my prescriptions to CVS down the street. read more

Went to pick up some photo this morning 8/9/2016. Worst service ever!!!! No good morning no nothing!!! I had to asked 2 times for help. When he did come to help me he seem annoyed to be there!. It took him about 5 minutes to walk over and look for my photo. Which he did not find in the bin make L for my last name. Finally a girl come to help, she looked like she just crawled out of bed. It's really hard to turn pharmacy customers who are fans and frequent purchasers into very unhappy customers. The new shingles shots are hard to get right now. Two of us received the first shot but couldn't get the second. Called several times a week for MONTHS with no luck. One day, six months later, was advised it was available and promised would hold it, gave our names. We arrived 1 1/2 hours later and were told, "too late, we gave it away".....However, they then found one last shot (for one of us) left by shear luck because no hold was honored. I was upset that they promised to hold it, then said too late, and then tried to tell me that they don't hold them. They made a promise and then tried to wiggle out of it. Per Pharmacy Manager Jessica's policy, she refuses (too much work they said) to keep a customer list of those waiting for the second shot, recommended within 6 months. Also, Manager is allowing both first and second shots. I suggested since supply is limited, to just give second shots rather than keep giving first shots and creating more upset customers who can't get the second shot due no availability. I asked for the Manager to call me, and also called the Walgreens customer service line. I can't share their responses because there was none...... I spoke to CVS, they are taking care of their customers, only giving shots to them and keep a customer list for second shots. Nice! Called today for a prescription refill, manager cut me off, had to call back, then she was abrupt and rude. read more

When they opened, I thougt, Oh Boy. A Walgreens close by. HA! After a few trips, I am THROUGH with this place. Parking is impossible. And I don't mean close to the door, or even close to the store. I mean the whole lot is full. Except for the many handicapped spaces, which are almost always full of black SUVs, as well. The building commission really dropped the ball on available parking when this strip mall was put in. The only way to go here is to walk, bicycle or have a handicap placard (which might not even help). Inside, things are going downhill. Typical of so many newly opened stores, it was great at first. Then the second team took over, and the decline started. Again, typical. The shelves are stocked to look full, but they are out of a lot of stuff. Same for the racks. The merchandise they DO have in stock is hung on the empty hooks to make the rack appear less empty than it really is. I often end up going to another drug store, anyway. The manager seems uncaring and not really up to the job. He just gave me a shrug when I inquired on when an item would be back in stock. There is plenty of help, and some even know where things are. read more

Called on phone and asked if they would sell a half container of Tamiflu for an emergency puppy dying of Parvo. Girl on the phone said we can give you whatever the Dr prescribes. We drive 20 miles and when we get there same girl says you have to buy the whole bottle which is $160. She takes 1 min to ask the pharmacist 5 ft away from her who replies that they can only sell it as a whole bottle. So now after 6 days of no sleep. Driving 20 miles from the emergency room we have no choice but to be held hostage to purchase the whole bottle which we will not even get through 10%. What is wrong with people like this. It would've ts k end 1 minute to confirm with someone who actually knows something rather than think that they know everything and affecting people's lives with no regard. I have always been a supporter of this Walgreens especially as a Kindergarten teacher who is constantly using their photo center for class projects and gifts. With my first day of school I took first day photos and the kids made beautiful frames. In excitement to pick up photos when I showed up they said they had not printed even though I had an email to prove they were. I then went in the next day to hear the same response. I went home upset so my husband then called to hear they had been ready since yesterday. My kids were not able to take home their projects and I was very disappointed in this. When my husband called and said he would need to now drive back for the third time that he thought he should be compt the price of the photos for the hassle they refused and said if we did not want them they would be tossed. I am very upset and will never use this Walgreens for their unprofessionalism again. read more
