I've been to this location several times. I was here recently for various items . The Manager was super helpful in getting the best value for the rewards/coupons that I had. She was kind enough to help in setting up a warranty for a Water Pik purchase. Her assistance really helped to get a major savings on the items. We normally fill our prescriptions at the CVS on Artesia Blvd. In Redondo Beach. However they were out of a medication and told my husband it would be ordered and available the next day after 6 pm. Since my husband was ill and needed it ASAP, I called and asked if another CVS had it for pick up today. I was directed to the CVS located in the Target Store in Manhattan Beach. I spoke to the pharmacist who rushed it for me and I was able to pick it up in a few minutes. This CVS also accepts Target gift cards for their prescriptions. read more

Pharmacy: Good selection of over the counter medications with brand names and generics. Always good amount of sales on items so you need your CVS account active. Came here after eating dinner and it was very quiet. Needed vitamins and store was well stocked and easy to find items. But the best experience was the helpful clerk Kellie who took care of me when I couldn't use the self check out station. This is a review of Yuonah from the pharmacy. She is FANTASTIC! Went to dermatologist this morning and doctor ordered a prescription. The prescription was sent to the Target CVS but when I arrived to pick up, they said there was no record of the prescription. I thought, hmmmm perhaps I selected the wrong pharmacy so I called and left a message for the one at Manhattan Village. Yuonah called me within 20 minutes, found the prescription and even called the CVS at Target to clarify the issue. Yuonah even told me that she set up text messaging for me so that I could get alerts in the future. WOW! Way to go for top notch customer service. Thank you! read more

Below zero Star, Just visited the CVS store locatedted at 1570 Rosecrans ave Manhattn beach, employee Kimberly Gota standing at the counter, no welcome to the customer but Kimberley stared me with hate look in her eyes so I told her I was there to pick up my order, Kimberly Gota told me she cancel the order, I was shocked how she knows what order I am talking about? She knows who I am, She knows my name and what item I exactly order without me giving her a single piece of information about me, I got very scared is Kimberly stealing my identity, she told me to go home reorder then come back here I requested her since I am already in the store and I'll repay them even I didn't receive the credit for it previous item, Then Kimberly start treating me saying who are you to tell me to re sell the item, Then Kimberly told me to leave the store I was shocked once again, this all happened less than one minute I enter into the store, Kimberly stood in fighting stance repeated yell at me to leave the store her bad behavior was like buffalo with horn, then she continues saying who are you to tell me? The photo department is a joke and waste of time, I should have gone to Walgreens down the street. Corina the lady with long black hair was in charge of photos and even though I received an email my photos were ready they were not. She had me thumbing through someone else's photos because some of mine were in there... like what?! There was a lady on the floor cutting photos. This was after the fact I waited at a register for about 10 min while they looked for my photos. The photos look like pixilated like a computer print out from 2005. I asked for a discount for poor service and she said no and she said if I want to pay $24 to be some sort of cvs VIP and receive discounts that way. Terrible service at this CVS. Every time I come here, all the employees are missing from their stations. Customers are forced to wait 10-15 minutes by the locked shelves just to get the items they need. People are also standing in line at the registers while no one bothers to assist them. Most of the pharmacy staff is nice and helpful. Recently the pharmacist wouldn't fill my senior rescue dogs prescription because it wasn't sent electronically. I have only used this pharmacy for his prescription and he's in their system. When I told her this she told me that "it's discretionary", which just means she was choosing to not fill my prescription. I don't appreciate being treated like some sketchy drug-seeker when filling my dogs prescription for flying. Just keep the "it's discretionary" to yourself next time, it's offensive. read more

My surgeon sent a prescription to the pharmacy on November 14th for pain meds after a total knee replacement. I am sitting here on Nov. 24 waiting for meds!!!! If you want your vaccinations posted to your digital card, cvs hads sadly failed in that department. We got our last Covid booster in April and cvs manhattan beach has not posted it to the state. I've called the store and corporate and even had a call with corporate and the store on the phone. In that last call I was assured that cvs was going to "resend" our vaccine info to the state. That call was 6!weeks ago and our state cards are still not updated. We have gone to cvs Hermosa beach and Walgreens manhattan beach and they have posted our information immediately. read more

The pharmacy at this Target location is rude as they are stupid. I asked for a refund, which I get costed them money but it's too expensive. They claimed to do me a favor (without argument). I merely commented that the receipt itself mentioned refund regardless. I realize it's the CVS pharmacy and not Target that they kept repeating over and over again. Anyway, I got the refund even with howling and over dramatized idiotic staff, needless to say, they get 2 stars. One, for at least honoring the receipt (which they offered to do from the start) with of coursing attitude and a scene created by them. read more

l wasted an hour of my life thanks to an incompetent pharmacy tech named Kristina who doesn't know how to type numbers into a computer. She typed in my insurance number incorrectly and it kept coming back as "terminated." No amount of convincing on my part helped, even after I called my insurance company to verify coverage. I should have asked her to have someone else do it, someone who knows how to read a sequence of numbers. Total waste of time AND I didn't get my prescription. It was my husband who figured out the error when he called (after I got home, livid beyond belief) and read the insurance number to a proper pharmacist who verified that it had been entered incorrectly by Kristina. Perhaps CVS should look into hiring techs who are capable of typing a sequence of numbers correctly. Worst CVS experience I've ever had. read more

I've been a customer for years. All the staff are professional and friendly. I have even had prescriptions filled with no problems. Not sure why they have such low ratings I went in this evening. The Manager Shaun was very accommodating. I told him I just submitted prints online 10 minutes ago and he went ahead and printed them for me. There was another gentlemen (cashier) there that was being mistreated by a customer. She was so rude to him and he didn't let it bother him he kept helping her. They are very nice and helpful. I get all my prescription's filled at this CVS, it's clean and full of fun aisles to browse when you have to wait for a prescription. I love the fact that it's open 24 hours, and during normal hours I can make it a 2 for 1 trip with Ralphs next door :) ... There is also a Mall, a few Banks, and some very nice Restaurants in the area, so all around great location. I hate taking medication. I'm too paranoid about side effects and that it only covers the symptoms instead of curing it. And lastly I'm too lazy and disorganized to take daily doses of medicine for any length of time. Hence, I dread going to pharmacies. Lately, circumstantial events had led me to my doctor who in turn, led me to CVS to pick up prescription meds (temporarily of course). I equate going to any pharmacy with going to the hospital. I shudder with fear just thinking about it. My first visit to CVS was surprisingly pleasant. Of course it took me about 20 mins to reach to the end of the store where the pharmacy is located. I had to do a little warm up browsing through the beauty section....you know....easing it in. The pharmacists were super nice, attentive and actually very hospitable. They walked me through the chargeback process of my medical insurance and explained the details of the medication. Wow. I was really impressed. It was actually painless and very clear. It didn't feel like a hospital. I saw normal people....healthy people, picking up meds just like me. I've been to other pharmacies in the past...and it wasn't always this pleasant or convenient. There were always problems, long lines, or crazy people making a scene. I'm a pretty simple person. I don't like drama or when things get complicated.
