Pharmacy review- I tried calling to see if my prescription was ready and the voicemail said the pharmacy was closed even though their hours online stated otherwise. I assumed my prescription was not ready then so I figured it would be the next day. I went in the next afternoon and it still wasn't ready and was told to take a seat. Within a minute they had it filled! The tech said that due to staff shortages they had to close early the day before and were closing again tonight. So I'd you're needing your prescription ASAP hopefully they can fill it right away when you arrive. read more

My doctor sent in a prescription Monday, January 6. I do not have a car and was unable to get to the store until Sunday, January 12. We waited in the drive through line for an hour and five minutes. The truck in front of us was at the window for 29 minutes. When it was finally my turn I was told it wasn't filled yet and would be ready in 40 minutes. I returned home and waited for it to be ready. The next afternoon it was still not ready. I called and sat on hold for 16 minutes to talk to someone. I was then told that the medicine was not in stock, it was past cutoff time for ordering that day (so they still hadn't attempted to fill/order it!) and so it would not be available until Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon I checked and it was finally ready. It was available for delivery, which I decided to do since I don't have transportation. My choices were 2-3 business days delivery for $1.99 or same day delivery for either $4.99 or $5.99 (I can't remember), as long as ordered before 3:00 p.m. It was just past 2:00 and I'd already waited a week and a half so chose same day delivery. Now it's the next day, 12:02 p.m. and it is still showing to be at the pharmacy. I am currently on hold (17 minutes so far) to see what's going on. Omgosh. Pharmacy keeps closing! I have been called 3 times during this refill alone that the pharmacy has temporarily closed. Store is absolutely gross too. The floors are never cleaned. Dust bunnies everywhere. I feel gross just walking in. read more

This is a terrible location to get a prescription filled as the staff is not helpful at all. No attempt was made to assist when a prescription was missing on the Walgreens side as the pharmacist confirmed real time that it was in fact sent the day before. A simple conversation with the pharmacist would have cleared up the issue, but no attempt to help at all was made. Sadly this was for a sick child as well... read more

I wouldn't recommend coming here for vaccinations or covid booster shots. The process took me almost 2 hours. I had an appointment and they suggested coming 15 minutes early which I did. So I switched to Walgreens from Cub pharmacy hoping to get better service I sent one prescription. It was 30 tablets. It's not a hard prescription to fill. They had all my information all my insurance information. Everything. I had it called in by the doctor. Down there, they said 15 minutes I said OK I'll wait 15 minutes It wasn't ready. I said OK how long is it gonna be they said 15. I said OK I'll come back for it so I drove all the way down to St. Louis Park and came back and then stopped at that pharmacy and it still wasn't ready what the fuck is going on over there and then when I ask about what's going on the guy Go says oh she's given a vaccine. How long does the vaccine take it one prick and you're done. I will never ever do business with Walgreens again. Let's say that medication for my heart or my seizure medicine and I needed that ASAP and I was in that situation. I had the script sent over to Cvs and it was filled in one hour. The prescription got to Walgreens at 8 o'clock in the morning. I didn't get the prescription until 6 o'clock last night but at a different pharmacy that's almost 12 hours. I've had some terrible experiences with the Walgreens Pharmacy recently. Prescriptions that have taken weeks to fill, prescriptions that have been "canceled" electronically for no reason, and if there is a delay due to "reviewing insurance" they do not rectify the issue unless you call them to tell them to fix it. Tonight I sat on hold for over an hour trying to get through to the pharmacy. I called at 6:45pm and the message said there was 3 callers ahead of me, I waited for over one hour and I finally decided to hang up and try calling back. Then, I reach a message that the pharmacist decided to close the pharmacy early. So they had left me on hold and closed the pharmacy without making sure all their calls were answered! I needed to contact them about a prescription issue that they haven't filled yet due to "reviewing insurance". So frustrating! The only reason I have stayed with this pharmacy is that it is the only pharmacy in chaska with a drive thru...although they often have that closed as well. read more

Horrible pharmacy. Lines are aisles long, drive thru is closed for COVID testing even though there is never anyone there for a test (nor are there slots available for a test). If you have an actual cold or worse, you must go stand in the store for likely 30-45 mins to get your prescription, even if you explain to the drive thru that you just need an express pickup and have a nasty cold. Real brain surgeons must have thought this one through. read more

There are never fewer than six people - sometimes a dozen - waiting in line to pick up a prescription. It has taken me 40 minutes, standing in line, only to be told my prescription isn't ready (it had been called in by my doctor 3 days earlier). Last week, my son had surgery and his doctor called in a precsription for a pain killer. My son was asleep in the car, as happens after anesthesia, and when I went to the pharmacy, I was told it would be 60 minutes before the prescription would be ready. MY SON WAS SLEEPING IN MY CAR AND WOULD NEED HIS MEDS WHEN HE WOKE UP. When I returned 60 minutes later, I was told it would be another 30 minutes. Waiting in line at Walgreens in Chaska has become a nightmare. I can't even count the hours I have spent waiting in line. I've been told they don't have enough staff. I'd like to know how this is the customers' problem? I can't wait in line today, so I can't take my medication. This is negligence on the part of Walgreens and it's illegal. I'm switching to CVS. read more

We need to use their pharmacy on a regular basis due to a medical condition with a family member. Their pharmacy services are terribly slow. They are consistently understaffed and the system they use to notify you of medications available for pickup is often incorrect resulting in wasted time and empty apologies. read more

This place has good and bad points. Staff rock but the pharm managers are god awful!!! Can't get a compound filled unless there are two pharmacists working? That's crap. Tell my 7 month old with diaper rash why we can't get here cream. I'm sure she cares why you can't schedule properly. The rest of the store is alright. Always friendly staff!!! read more

30 mins to pick up a prescription that was ready, and this time...no line. Their 'computer' just tried to over bill me by $65... when they finally re-ran it...oh now back to the correct price. I asked if there was an issue with my insurance. Nope... just the internet. Check and recheck what you are charged. I am switching my prescriptions to anywhere else!!! read more

The pharmacy is not a symphony of efficiency. Grossly understaffed to meet their demand. I live in the community and go to Eden Prairie location to get my prescriptions. I have given the reasonable opportunities. Go somewhere else. They can't handle you. read more

I dropped off a prescription and it was busy, they said to give them 30 minutes. I told them I'd return in 2 hours. 2:20 minutes later it still isn't filled and they put the paperwork in the wrong place and lost it. They finally found it, but still looking. read more

Pharmacist had a bad attitude. Wouldn't fill a prescription be cause they were "closing soon". Put 10 pills in a bottle, your job isn't that hard, just do it while you are getting paid to. read more
