I assumed my prescription was not ready then so I figured it would be the next day. I went in the next afternoon and it still wasn't ready and was told to take a seat. Within a minute they had it filled! The tech said that due to staff shortages they had to close early the day before and were closing again tonight. So I'd you're needing your prescription ASAP hopefully they can fill it right away when you arrive.

Many times I've been on hold for over thirty minutes without anyone picking up. 3) assured us they were working on a prescription, asked my husband to wait, and after over an hour finally said they didn't have it. After me going over again a few days later, they suddenly told me they actually didn't have it, nor did they expect to get it. They held my prescription hostage and never let me know! 4) would not give me a straight answer about another medication they may not have, and would not transfer the prescription, give me an estimated arrival time, or help me in any way. You are a customer-facing business. You are therefore expected to provide some kind of customer service--just the basics would be great. I cannot believe the level of negligence and disorganization at this branch.

Walgreens Chanhassen Pharmacy: Rude Staff, Long Waits, and Zero Accountability…read more One of the worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. My doctor sent my prescription at 2:30 p.m., and I didn't get a pickup notice until 7:00 p.m. When I arrived, the drive-thru line was completely backed up -- I sat for 45 minutes, trapped behind four cars. The pharmacy never answers the phone, so I called the store and was told to come inside because they were still open. I went in at 8:00 p.m., only to be told they were "done for the night," despite the long wait and the wrong information I was given. Then an employee snapped, "Ma'am, we are not McDonald's," and told me to go to another Walgreens. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I left without the medication I needed the night before Thanksgiving -- something that would've taken them two minutes to fill. And after looking at Yelp, it's clear this location has had years of negative reviews with no improvement. They obviously get enough business that they don't feel the need to fix anything. Avoid this Walgreens. Management needs to step in. I will definitely be finding another pharmacy.

And the poundage and price are on the bottom of all the packages meaning that every shopper has to pick them up, turn them over in order to determine the poundage and the price. Nasty.
