I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. Next time I need a quick something, I may in fact prioritize Kwik Trip over say Holiday or Speedway. Also the employees working here were friendly and efficient. So even the help really seemed a step above the rest when it comes to gas stations. My kudos to them!

The prices are SO affordable (easily on par with, and sometimes beating, the club prices at Costco and Sam's), and are made even better with the Minnoco rewards discounts (5-10 cents depending on the day). I was pleasantly surprised by how much i saved, but i can't remember off hand how much i did in fact save. I highly suggest if you shop at Hyvee often for your groceries or personal needs, getting a fuel savers card and using the hyvee gas station is totally worth it. Here is how it works: You earn points with every fuel savers item you purchase. You can usually tell its a fuel savers item when it has a red and black card above or under it stating so. Not to mention the fuel savers card is free, you just ask your cashier if they haven't asked you already, and then you activate it online. I suggest giving it a try, they have Hyvee's in New Hope, Eagan, and they are opening one up in Robbinsdale actually today!

The staff is always genuinely friendly, the store is clean and the gas is ALWAYS about $0.20 cheaper. Not only is it cheaper than 95% of stores in the metro (I'll get to that in a second) but it's high quality fuel. I get 30-50 more miles per tank consistently. Back to the pricing: I live in Minneapolis. 30 minutes away. My husband works five minutes from Kochs Korner. I am disabled and on a fixed income so I really have to think about my spending. I will typically time out my necessary trips to Loretto for when I'm low on fuel so I can take advantage of the savings. I can't fathom how many stations I pass on the 25 mile trip but I ALWAYS look up gas along my route to find the cheapest option and it's never fails that Kochs Korner wins.
