Getaway has become one of my favorite destination cafés in Minnesota and is almost always on the…read moreshort list when I'm trying to decide what to do for a few hours. Whether it's an early morning motorcycle ride for coffee or an evening trip for cocktails, food trucks, and live music, it always feels worth the ride. The café was founded by riders and embraces an "All Wheels Welcome" philosophy, which is part of what makes it such a fun place to visit. The space itself is beautiful, the drinks are consistently great, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between being a community gathering spot and a place to relax. What really stands out, though, is the ownership. They genuinely care about building community, and it shows in everything from the events they host to the welcoming environment they've created. My only minor criticism is that, despite the name, I sometimes wish it leaned a little harder into the motorcycle and car culture side of things. It feels like it's evolved into more of a general destination café than a true motor-focused hangout. That said, it's a very small complaint, and the fact that such a wide variety of people enjoy the space is probably part of its success. If you're looking for a great excuse to get out of the Twin Cities, grab a coffee, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a scenic ride, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Getaway Motor Cafe.

Bellows Bistro hits that sweet spot perfectly with their dnd/fantasy bistro. I love dnd, and bellow's bistro just knocks it out of the park. It is an incredible and fun experience without being too much. Whether you're a big dnd nerd, or just someone looking for an interesting and entertaining new place with delicious food, you'll have a good time. The service was great, the drinks fun, and the food is all made from scratch and delicious(we really loved the beholder bites) I've been telling all of my nerdy friends about it, and I loved it so much that I wrote a yelp review for the first time in like a decade. 10 out of 10, absolutely worth the trip into Chaska.

We decided to sit outside because it was a nice day and they have umbrellas all over their patio. The server came out with metal water cups which I've never seen but was pleasantly surprised! The menus are hilarious and this would be a great place for that video game lover in your life. My Husband loves DND and new mostly everything on this menu so it was fun getting to learn a bit more. He opted for the ember chicken sandwich and loved it even got the Dragon's Breath sauce on the side to try which was very very spicy. I opted for the pickle burger which had fried pickles on it and I WISH had cream cheese instead of cheddar as that would really bring it home for me. I did get it with the beyond burger for a three dollar up charge but was still very good. The fries are thick and beer battered with really great seasoning on them. For our drinks I got the butter beer which my only note for that is the sauce was dripping all down the sides. onto the table, and on me... and it really ruined the experience. The drink itself was so tasty but I really hated how sticky I got. My husband got the stamina elixir and the presentation was wonderful coming out of an elixir bottle. He said it tasted really good with the Midori and lime. Overall we're planning to come back here before the Renaissance Festival in our get up and have a meal. It's a really cool space and I can't wait to explore more of the inside.
