Was in the Bronx and notice a walgreens and went in to grab a few things before they close as many are closing for good. Standard walgreens store with to a to z of stuff including pharmacy in back area. ITS A BIT STRANGE BUT MORE AND MORE WALGREENS SEEM NOT TO BE AS WELL STOCKED AS IN THE PAST AND I CANT FIGURE IT OUT. I did grab a few things including paper towels , snacks, liquid detergent, etc, and 40 bucks later it's time to hit the road . I just hope next time I am in this part of the Bronx that walgreens in Pelham gardens is still open for biz. 3 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Awful long lines and nothing in stock seems everyone works but nothing in stock and always 1 person working the lines

I called to see what time they stop taking passport photos... the person that answered the phone says come before 8. I get here at 7:30 ring the bell on the counter almost 10 minutes later a young woman with rings in her nose comes out and says you can come tomorrow try to get her before 7. NEGATIVE. I have never used this pharmacy to get medications, but whenever I need to buy over the counter items, disinfectant items, detergent, even christmas gifts this is my favorite Walgreens. There is plenty of parking, its near several places to eat, near the train, the store is cleaned, its fully stocked and open late. What is there to complain about? I love this Walgreens. read more

Got my booster here. Made an appointment online. When I arrived, the pharmacist said they had stopped giving vaccines an hour ago. I showed her my confirmation email as I had made my appointment online, which was confirmed. The pharmacist said no she didn't care. I met another woman in line who also had an appointment. The pharmacist heard us talking and said ok I have 1 dose. Suddenly she seemed to change her mind about giving the booster shot. I waited 40 minutes to get the shot. The other woman who had an appointment for a booster left because she was told that the pharmacist would not give her the shot. Then when the pharmacist gave me my booster, she said oh wait I think I have enough for her booster too. But the woman had left 40 minutes ago. Walgreens needs to get it together. We both had appointments booked online. They turned that poor woman away saying they only had 1 dose when they actually had more. Completely rude, unprofessional, and awful behavior. read more

I was completely shocked when I went to pick up two prescriptions. Not only which I understood, I had to wait online but 5 minutes after I get there at 330, I am told the pharmacy is closed for the day. What type of shoddy business practice is this? People could be waiting for life-saving meds and guess what they were closed. The online info, telephone announcements, and the main office said they are supposed to be open till 9 PM. I had just switched to this Walgreen's cause it was closer to home. Maybe I should have stayed with the one that was a 15-minute drive and not a 2-minute drive from where I live. Great job Walgreens of trying to keep customers happy, well this customer is very unhappy at the way your handling things. Another problem was they let all the people who are just buying merchandise to go in ahead of those of us who need our meds. Do you as a consumer think they are right to do that or are they just interested in making money? How would they like if a number of people changed drugstores? I spend an average of $3000 to $3600 year on drugs. If 100 people switch stores that come up to a whopping $360,000 lost and other business has gone to other pharmacies and corporations, but NOT Walgreens. I do hope Walgreens reads this. But they probably won't. read more

The hours say 7am-11pm. I needed medications before a trip and got there right at 7. A worker was waiting outside and said the establishment opened at 8. Even the light up sign that can be seen from the street says "Open 7am-11pm." I just wish they would change the time, it was misleading. read more

Needed meds and the store claims they close at 11pm and the time is 10:36pm and the gates are down and doors are locked. How ever workers inside walking around. I understand if they closed but time is very misleading. read more

I placed an order of pictures to pick them up same day the order went through at 7pm and was told i would be able to pick them at 8pm. i arrived at the walgreens at 8:30, no one was to be found at the picture section, and when asked for help i was told that the order was never done and i needed to wait for the manager to come back, the manager would not answer her pager. this was my third time ordering pictures from this walgreens and each time was horrible service. My mom was called numerous times to let her know to come pick up 3 medications from Walgreens for my dad. But when she arrived on Friday, April 10, 2020, all prescriptions hadn't been filled. My mom was told on Friday, in Walgreens that the prescription would be ready for Monday because there are no deliveries over the weekend. My mom asked if they knew what time it would be ready and they said in the afternoon. On Monday after she got off of work, I took her to Walgreens for the prescription. After waiting on line outside the store in the rain she was told by the pharmacist that the medicine was not filled. My mom explained the importance of the medicine for my dad. The pharmacist explained that the prescription will be ready by tomorrow 4-14-20. This is a medicine that my father has been on for a while and needs. If there was a problem with delivery of medications due to the pandemic, my mother should have been notified on Friday. Worst experience ever! read more
