On one of my recent Disneyland holiday vacations, I didn't realize until it was much too late, I…read morehadn't packed a hairbrush or toothpaste for my trip. Since we were going to have a rope drop plan early at the Disneyland Resort, I needed something fast! As soon as we got up in the morning, I went to the Walgreens right next door to the Hilton Anaheim hotel located by the Convention Center It really worked out as the perfect way to rescue my morning. The store was open very early, not too crowded, and had every travel essential that I needed. In just minutes I was able to get toothpaste and a hairbrush, along with a few extra snacks to take with me to the park. Also, because of its great location, it would be an excellent place to visit if you are staying at one of the many local hotels or if you plan on taking the short walk to Disneyland. Walgreens is definitely one of those stores you will hope you never have to go into on your vacation however, you will be extremely happy that it is there when you do! Getting to that Walgreens helped me to quickly save my morning and get ready for the day and the long lines, on some of the rides, hours before the park opened!

I only went to hang out, as my children were asleep in our own hotel, but it was pretty stupid of me to watch my friends stock up on supplies and not pick up any of my own. This is a Walgreens, so I'm not trying to oversell the place, but it was nice and useful, with a ton of branded Disney stuff in addition to whatever else you expect to buy at a Walgreens. I see other reviewers have noted the Disney merchandise is cheaper here than in the park. I'm quite sure they charged less for bottled water and soft drinks than the kiosks at Disneyland, where I ended up buying both in the following days. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop at this Walgreens, but I'd definitely recommend buying provisions if you happen to be there mere hours before a weekend in Disneyland. You might save $20 on beverages by learning from my mistake.

Unlike some locations that close overnight, this particular 7-Eleven operates 24 hours a day! This is a great spot to stop by for some snacks before going into the theme park, or picking up some travel essentials that may have been missed! Because it's so centrally located to some of the major go to places, it's easy to stop by for items like sunscreen, bottle water, or even a quick breakfast option! It can get pretty busy though since it's right next to the Convention Center and Disney. I only got a Big Gulp and my husband got a coffee at the 7-Eleven before going to the theme park. Very disappointed in UberEats to condone this type of fraud. I have cancelled my UberEats account due to not protecting the customer.

This CVS turned out to be a very good place to make a quick stop as it was within walking distance of the hotel and located close to Disneyland Resort. In addition to picking up a few of the essentials that I would need such as bottled drinks and snacks, I found it to be a much better price than if I were to purchase the same products inside Disneyland. So, whether your looking to save a few dollars or want to take advantage of having drinks available to you throughout the day, this CVS is a good choice to fill up before you head into the parks. This CVS has a well organized store and has all the items that you could possibly need. The team here at this location is great! service was fantastic! Another good surprise is that this CVS has some Disney theme merchandise and souvenirs. You'll be able to find stuff like plush toys, T shirts. If you're looking for a souvenir, this will make it easy for you to find a souvenir on your way out of the park instead of having to go back in. It won't have all of the same things you would find in the shop at Disneyland, but it's a little extra especially if you forgot to get something while inside!

What a joke! Walgreens, SHAME ON YOU!! On Oct. 17, 2021 (The last Sunday), my wife and I both made an appointment for Vaccine Booster Shot online at this Walgreens. It's a bit far away from our home, but when checked their website, this was the closest one that provided booster shots. I booked on their website for both of us, one at 2:30 PM, another at 2:45 PM, both got confirmation numbers. We went there but the pharmacy was closed for lunch. We waited until we saw they were open. But when we told the employee that we were coming for the Moderna booster shots, the guy told us there was no vaccine at all, albeit the booster vaccine. We showed him the confirmation numbers, but he just said there's nothing there. What a joke! Walgreens, a nationwide pharmacy chain, simply played a practical joke on us! If you don't have it, why could you just publicly announce that you don't have the vaccines? Why you fooled us to register online to reserve two appointments, giving us two confirmation numbers. Is this the way to lure people to go to your pharmacy to buy things we really don't need at all? What is your REAL PURPOSE behind this charade? A nationwide pharmacy chain, putting false information on their website, fooling people to spend a lot of time to provide personal information, such as date of birth, address, ethnic background, email addresses, cell phone numbers... to feed into their own databank just for malicious phishing purposes! Walgreens is a Con and Scamming business, they cheat people to provide them with many personal information. This is NOT what we thought and could have imagined that would happen to us. Now, with all of our important personal information in their databank, all we could do is to expect their SPAM emails to flood in daily or, we might even have to face some unknown disasters in the coming days. Despite this, I appreciate Alpha's service over the past four years, noting their efficient prescription confirmation system via text. While frustrated with the situation, I acknowledge it's not Alpha's fault and I recommend Alpha as a reliable local business with a well-stocked healthcare product inventory in addition to their primary service which is selling medication. Millions of Americans pop an ever increasing amount of pills each year, turning over record profits to the pharmaceutical companies who sell their medicine as they next best thing. It's sad to say but, "We Are All on Drugs" - Weezer, in one form or another. I like small pharmacies similar to smaller community banks that make you feel important. The service here is good, especially the nice Hispanic lady that answers the phone with a smile. The employees are all friendly and efficient but it's the owner that I have a little issue with. We'll focus on that later. The waiting area is spacious, it never seems that crowded to me. Parking is sometimes difficult but that's because this commercial property houses other professionals and their clients. I always call ahead and they have my family's medication waiting for me in about 10 minutes. I've gone to pharmacies in Rite Aid or CVS and for some reason, they always seem a little more expensive than the rest. 2 issues that I have here. First, I used to have a Medical Expense Debit Card from work and Koam would not take the card because their credit card machine would not recognize my card being used at a legitimate health care location. All they need to do is call their merchant services and update their setting. No luck after repeated requests. Second, they make me return monthly for 90 day prescriptions which I think is their way of trying to squeeze more business. I don't know if 3 monthly charges translates into more money for them, but I do know that it's more money out of my pocket for gas. Plus, I'm wasting my time returning for refills. And don't tell me that it's because my insurance or doctor doesn't cover it. CVS pharmacy just recently sent me a letter stating they could fill a 90 day prescription and my doctor just wrote me a 90 day refill so I don't understand why they can but Koam cannot. Maybe, I'm missing something there but something sure doesn't sound right. However, both of my issues aren't resolved even though I speak to the older female Korean owner in glasses. She's can be nice but I sense some fakeness and a definite power trip. I think she's a lot smarter than she acts. One time, I came in for a prescription for some pain killers after a tough dentist visit (root canal, deep cleaning, 3 cavaties) and she started to question what my sickness was for the pills. Seriously?? None of your damn business! I'm not here to abuse medication. I know you want my business but don't compromise the convenience/service and then insult my intelligence for it.

My new doctor told me recently however that I should try another pharmacy because Koam had some tricks up their sleeves I did not know about, i.e. making me return for monthly refills on a 3 month prescription, because return visits = more money for them. Also, they fudged up several of his other patients' stuff. See, that's the thing once again about having no frame of reference, I would have never known if I wasn't told of this. And by now I'm pretty attached to the place and feel strange about scoring elsewhere. I hate break ups. Especially if they are necessary. SIGH.
