It was about 9 PM I believe There's a young lady checking out a customer ahead of me and he seemed to be a little disoriented or not paying very much attention or whatever Anyway, a young man named Donald (if I got the name wrong I apologize it was a African-American young man probably 25 to 30 years old) and offered to help me He was super nice very attentive and helped me actually make a couple changes on my CVS account which saved me a third on my bill Hopefully the management team there recognizes the review and lets him know that I thought he was amazing Thank you, Donald! I had my prescription sent here due to it being one of the only locations with 24/7 pharmacy. I landed late at LAX and had to go straight to urgent care and ended up here. The pharmacy technician apparently left without getting a backup for the poor pharmacist. He was swamped with work and had dozens of patients from the same urgent care I came from waiting for scripts. The problem was that nothing was processed in the orders received and people waiting had others who came after had their scripts filled straightaway and leaving. I sat there like an idiot with other very sick patients well into 1am. And my insurance information wasn't taken in correctly so I paid full price. I was in no mood of waiting more so I can do an all nighter at this sketchy CVS. The outside of the store doesn't seem safe as many homeless people and other hoodlums were smoking and dealing god knows what. Certainly not a place young female should be going unaccompanied at night. read more

The store is clean and the staff are nice. FYI, there might be more or less homeless in front. Most of them are just sitting doing their own things but some might follow and ask for money. The inside store is clean and well organized. They have very good refrigerator that keeps snacks, drinks, alcohol, desserts fresh at all times. If you have CVS app, check out sales and coupons beforehand. CVS prices are mostly cheaper than Ralph's and Walgreens. read more

This particular CVS is the designated last minute gift or greeting card location. The only time we visit this location is when we're in Orange County on the way to some sort of party and we need to pick-up a quick gift, greeting card, or both. It's weird how it works out like this but it does. Recently visited because we needed a birthday card for a kids party we were attending at the local Mormon church. Stopped in really quick and got a couple cards to choose from and we were on our way. After the function, we stopped by again, this time to get medicine for another friend who wasn't feeling well. We wanted to stock her up with basic meds for pain and congestion and specific meds for a UTI. We were able to get the Azo easily but the Tylenol was locked up and required an employee to unlock the shelf. I pushed the button 3 times in a 15 minute span, no response. I was watching the line to see if my party was at the front, they were not. I think the cashier was the only one on the floor because no one ever came by to open the Tylenol cabinet and by this time, I wasn't the only person waiting for this. Ended up getting a travel sized Tylenol vial but this definitely wasn't enough. It is a little slower paced here so if you're in a rush I would skip this location, but it is located centrally to everything. read more

I'm giving the CVS a five stars purely for the pharmacy tech Caitlyn. The store was crowded, and there was a line of people waiting to be served, and we all had to awkwardly witness this out of line customer that started to completely berate poor Caitlyn. She handled the situation with such grace and kindness, even though the lady would not let up. The pharmacist even had to step in because the customer was relentless. Keep up the great work Caitlyn I hope that lady didn't ruin your day. read more

I visited your CVS location on Saturday afternoon to pick up my UPS package, which I received a notification for stating it was ready for pickup on March 5. When I arrived at the store on March 7, the manager briefly looked for the package but told me it was not there. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. While I was still in the store, I contacted the sender so they could begin an investigation to determine whether the package was missing or stolen at the CVS location. The sender asked if they could speak with the manager directly, as the store is the last known location where the package was scanned. However, the manager refused to speak with the sender and walked away without offering any explanation or assistance. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and not the level of customer service customers should receive. If a package is marked as ready for pickup at your store and then cannot be located when the customer arrives, the store should take responsibility to help investigate and assist the customer. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and properly investigated. A package that was scanned as ready for pickup should not simply disappear without any effort from the store staff to help resolve the issue. Additionally, I hope steps will be taken to ensure staff provide better customer service and support when customers face issues like this. read more

After I paid for my items at the pharmacy I realized that I had two pretty substantial coupons and I hadn't given them to the kid. He refused to return them and let me rebuy them so that I could get the discount. Not only was he rude but he was demeaning to me. As a customer I feel like I should have been treated with a lot more respect in this kid was willing to give me. I didn't get his name but he has short brown hair and works there almost every night. The male cashier was rude enough for me to take the time to write this. He was chomping away on gum during the whole transaction. I was attempting to return a brand new item that i found was double the price of Amazon (despite it being supposedly a "Black Friday" sale item.) When you order online for pickup, CVS does not give you a paper receipt only this small slip of paper that has a barcode stapled to the bag. I returned to the store with that paper and he said, this isn't a receipt you're going to need to call customer service. I explained people don't get paper receipts when they pickup. He repeated himself again. I said the only thing I have are emails which I showed him, he scrolled and slammed the phone down to help his coworker and then he repeated himself again. I said what is the customer service number then? He said it's in the email, then scrolled through my email and found the bar code. He processed the return without any apologies, no thank you. This experience at CVS is exactly why retail storefronts are failing. This employee needs customer service training. read more

All the other stores put me on hold came back said they didn't have it. Every single time I've had my prescriptions refilled here, they've always fucked it up. My provider specifically prescribed a specific brand of birth control, no brand substitutions. Instead of disclosing to me they were replacing it, I get the notification that the prescription has been filled. When I called them to confront them, they blamed it on my provider. I call my provider to file a complaint and lo behold it's actually CVS's fault! Now I'm stuck with a different brand for the next 3 months. People here don't know how to fucking read! read more

Placed a mobile order here to pick up but I'd say this a unique experience I haven't had to experience being a extra care member. What I felt was the manager and at least the one store clerk at the cash register don't greet or come over to the counter closest to the door to check if I was someone wanted to pick up an order, they take in the next customer in line. Store clerk looks unbothered to check who I am before I make my way to the cash register, which she's on her phone instead of acknowledging me. I show confirmation that I'm picking up my order, I'm handed my items but I get no thank you for being a customer. I can at least say they couldn't have fumbled my order at all since it was just a few cases of soda and a dr.scholls item, otherwise they would have lost the only other star I can give for this review. It really had to be this store that I can accomplish getting my deal on soda and the only dr. Scholl's product closest to me without it being shipped, so I had to drive 5 miles for this. While I probably won't step foot in this store again, there were some nice food options I was going to explore in the same area. read more

Thank god I dont work here. I'm a CVS employee at a Different location and I can see why this location in Garden Grove has low reviews. I myself as a employee can tell not all Employees are professional. My store manager put an emphasis on customer service and these workers are the most unprofessional workers ever. I came in to get Covid and flu shots with my dad. The staff at the pharmacy were wonderful. They were kind and polite. We got a couple discount vouchers for getting vaccines and my dad wanted to buy some stuff for his car. When we got to checkout, there was only one guy working at the register that looked to be in his teens. There was an elderly man that came before us and for whatever reason dude at the cashier decided to check out both of our items at once, like he'd scan the man's stuff and then come to us while the other person is paying and alternate back and forth, which I thought was highly unprofessional. He could've just said to wait a minute and helped the elderly man and I would've been fine with that. He also has absolutely ZERO manners, just speaking in slang with no sense of respect or politeness to older people, even slightly raising his voice. He keeps saying "It's not gonna work boss". Customer service lack common sense. When you see a customer waiting for more than 10-15 minutes pressing the request for help button to unlock and grab a specific item that is locked up and you are unable to unlock it for them. Kindly let them know so they don't stay standing there while they are wanting a medication especially when in pain and needing pain relievers. Around 9 PM today, I was waiting in line to pick up my medication, and ahead of me was a young girl requesting birth control and she also has her doctor card permit. The employee treated her with a very rude, and he also told person next to him that she wouldn't be able to afford it. For context, many women use birth control to regulate their menstrual cycles, not just for contraception. He then went on to question the legitimacy of her doctor's prescription, claiming that her doctor had made a mistake by allowing her to use birth control. I believe this employee's actions were highly disrespectful towards the customers and their health. Furthermore, it reflects a significant lack of knowledge that one would expect from someone working in healthcare. I think CVS should seriously reconsider how they train their employees. After witnessing this incident, I felt extremely uncomfortable, fearing I might be treated the same way just a young girl with no one to stand up for. I don't normally have good experiences at CVS or Walgreens pharmacy but tonight was the best service I've had in a while. I went in to fill a prescription and was completely surprised on how much it was going to cost me. It was in the $100s. I know I really needed it so I asked the pharmacist if there was something off the shelf I could use in its place. She showed me a few things but said that those would not be good enough. In the end, she offered the CVS brand of the prescription I needed and was able to get it to me at a more reasonable price (what I could afford actually). I just want to say Anna went above and beyond and I wanted to thank her again for all her help in finding everything I needed. read more

I've been using CVS pharmacy for years. It's my usual go-to pharmacy and it's conveniently located down the street. Lately however they have had some issues with filling prescriptions including much needed pain medications. It could just be that they are bogged down with orders for medications, but it could also be a prioritization issue or a stocking issue. The automated system can also feel impersonal and can be irritating to deal with. So overall my faith in their services has begun to wane. I might be changing pharmacies soon if the problems I have been facing persist. read more

Wow. Very disappointed in the service i received this evening. I come to this location once a week due to my work schedule and it being the only one that's 24 hours within 10 miles of my house. This is the first time the service was so bad I had to notify someone and will be escalating it to management. I purchased the febreeze that was on sale, not sure why it was on two shelves opposite of each other rather than all tighter on one l. I digress, i get to the counter to make my purchase and the attitude I received from "chl_e" Was abhorrent. Our interaction couldn't have been more than 3 min but she spent it rolling her eyes and sucking here teeth after each question. I have a cvs card and carepass , as is seen when i enter my phone number , with that information available to her , she wild know I am aware of the check out process , yet she took the opportunity to suck her teeth and roll her eyes asking if i wanted my receipt and tell me that say then press receipt, before the screen appeared. I do not know this girl, have never to my knowledge met her before in my life. She waved and smiled at the male security guard signing in, so she was in enough mood to be polite to who she wanted, for whatever reason it was not me. I hope she works the shift that better suits her or stocks shelves during the late shift instead of the counter moving forward. read more
