I came in on a Friday and was not greeted, a little more customer service would go a long way in otherwise sleepy store like this. The rest of the store is well-stocked with gifts, flowers and stuffed friends (Squishmallows). I found an excellent supply of CHANSEY Squishmallows from Pokemon and my heart was overjoyed. We came in to buy some flowers for a deceased relative down the street at the Westminster Memorial. My parents said the single roses were $5 each and the bouquets were very expensive! We adapted and bought some flowers, but this felt a little excessive on the store's part. This location is right off Beach and has a 30 min. parking limit.

The pharmacy technician apparently left without getting a backup for the poor pharmacist. He was swamped with work and had dozens of patients from the same urgent care I came from waiting for scripts. The problem was that nothing was processed in the orders received and people waiting had others who came after had their scripts filled straightaway and leaving. I sat there like an idiot with other very sick patients well into 1am. And my insurance information wasn't taken in correctly so I paid full price. I was in no mood of waiting more so I can do an all nighter at this sketchy CVS. The outside of the store doesn't seem safe as many homeless people and other hoodlums were smoking and dealing god knows what. Certainly not a place young female should be going unaccompanied at night.

The restaurant next door has people constantly coming in and out that I was tempted to order something from there. The parking spaces are also a bit tight. Once I found a parking spot, I headed directly to the pharmacy. Picked up the medication and was out in a few minutes as there was no one else in line. With COVID-19, they have no public restrooms so that was rather inconvenient. After driving 40ish minutes to get here, a restroom would have been nice. A nice customer heard me and mentioned that the Albertsons down the street has public restrooms. This CVS location is huge and has lots of products on their shelves, as compared to the CVS locations around my area.

Pharmacist Terene argued against the doctors script, and wrote on my script that I need to stop taking it. I've been on this controlled substance for 6 years. My medication gives me a better quality of life. I don't know why she wanted to deny me of getting a medication that allows me to function. Pharmacists and the techs back there all look miserable and like they hate their job. Pretty rude staff overall. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone by a pharmacy.

I waited approximately 10 minutes for assistance. I politely tried to get the attention of the manager, who was working in the photo area, but he either did not hear me or chose not to respond. I waited a few more minutes, and still no one came to assist. After repeatedly waiting without help, I raised my voice simply to get someone's attention. Instead of receiving assistance, I was asked to leave the store--despite the fact that there were no cashiers available and no help provided. The store felt like it was running unattended. I have video footage showing how empty the registers were during this time. I do not recommend this Walgreens due to lack of customer service and poor management. I find them out-of-character for the store, many with poor grammar, that sound like they were written by people who are probably always mad about something. This is a nice store, a great location, and deserves WAY more stars than it has received.
