Very busy CVS. Not a good place to go if you need any help from employees. The manager is busy constantly unlocking the liquor cabinets for those who want to purchase, and seems to be having a bad day so is unfriendly and does not acknowledge customers. There is always a line at the cashier and people wanting help to apply coupons, so it's hard to get someone's help for the bathroom to be unlocked or to get passport photos taken. I would only go if I had an item I could find myself and use the self-checkout. read more

They made me wait for 15 min and another 15 min for my medication. If I hadn't checked in and commented on the long wait, they would have left me waited indefinitely. I understand that they're busy but no communication and cannot accept the bad attitude from the staff. Pharmacy staff is rude and inefficient. Unhelpful Manager and Wrong Info from Pharmacist I had two disappointing experiences at this CVS on Brookhurst in Westminster. The pharmacist gave me wrong instructions for my medication, which could have caused confusion. Also, I bought a "buy one, get one free" item, but they only had one left. The cashier told me to come back later for the second one and wrote it on my receipt. When I returned, the manager refused to honor it unless I brought the first item to scan, even though I explained I live far away. I hope this store can improve communication and customer service. read more

wish I could give this experience zero stars if that were possible. I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding poor customer service from a staff member named Kim, who works at your pharmacy. I visit this pharmacy every month to pick up my medication. I use the pharmacy app and clearly know when my refills are available. During my recent visit, I asked Kim if my refill was ready for pickup. He immediately said "no" in a rude tone, which made me feel uncomfortable. I then showed him my app, which clearly indicated that I had one refill available. After seeing this, he stared at me and said it was "not time yet," but then asked if I wanted him to get it ready. This response confused and upset me because the only reason I came to the pharmacy was to pick up my medication. I do not understand why I was asked this question when assisting customers with refills is part of his job. I also felt that he raised his voice and spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. I asked him why he was giving me such a hard time instead of simply doing his job properly. This is the second time I have had a negative experience with this staff member. On both occasions, I did not receive proper service and felt disrespected as a customer. It made me feel as though he was intentionally making the process difficult for me. I hope this message brings attention to this matter. I also sincerely hope that no other Vietnamese customers--or any customers--experience the same attitude that I did. Wow! I didn't even know how many bad reviews this CVS pharmacy received until today when I encountered problems with their staffs and I decided to on here to express my concerns. I wished I could give a zero star for this pharmacy. Their staffs are extremely rude and unprofessional. Today I went to pickup one prescription for my aunt which was the diabetes test strips. A female Iranian staff checked the computer system and she referred me to the next window to talk to a Vietnamese female staff because the prescription was on hold. The Vietnamese female staff checked the computer and she told me to wait for 15 minutes until I'm called. I sat down to play with my phone for more than 15 minutes and no one called me. I started seeing people lining up because it was close to 12 noon when the pharmacy would close for their lunch break so I walked up to the female staff who asked me to wait to inquire about my aunts prescription and with an ice cold face she told me I would have to wait in the long line again. I asked her why she told me I would be called when my aunts prescription was ready and she said; "no one said you would be called." I also witnessed the Vietnamese staffs talking really rude to the elderly Vietnamese customers today as well . The other Vietnamese staffs began looking at me and talking behind my back in Vietnamese in a very mean, rude and unprofessional manner when I expressed my concerns about the way their staffs treated me. It really bothers me when I see educated Vietnamese professionals mistreating their own race. They should be thankful to the Vietnamese community for their jobs. I will transfer all of my family's prescriptions to another cvs store. It's ashamed because this cvs store is like walking distance from my home. No one deserves this kind of treatment especially from healthcare related workers. I also called the front store and expressed my concerns to Carlos, the store manager. There are surveillance cameras at the pharmacy so I hope that Carlos wouldn't have any problem looking up the mean staffs that were involved in this incident. Located off Brookhurst in Westminster. Lots of parking. The store is pretty nice and well kept. The check out was the negative for me. There was no one at the registers then one of the employees came over and asked if paying by card use the self checkout. The only good thing was the guy responded pretty quickly when the machine did an error and the guy was near by to come help. Overall not the best experience I'm still a little old school and not liking self checkout at times. read more

Came here to some gift cards and cards. Stood by the register and waited. There was someone in the aisle in my line of vision who was aware I was there but didn't go to help or say anything. I asked if I could get service and she asked if I was getting liquor as if that's the only reason I would skip the self service line. I answered no and stated I was there to purchase gift cards. Accidentally threw out my receipt with my survey ID, so I'm hoping someone can see this. I wanted to give a shoutout to the store manager, Carlos. I came to this CVS with my grandmother, and he was extra attentive, patient, and compassionate while interacting with her. Outside of the expected level of customer service in retail, Carlos displayed a level of humility that made my grandmother feel very welcomed, despite the language barrier. It's terrible I sent my meds here before visiting it HUGE mistake. Most employees speak no English and the pharmacists have a huge language barrier. Not to mention they almost never answer their phone and the robot is terrible and glitches out. Just find a different location, there's litter everywhere outside with homeless people patrolling the front of the building. read more

Not sure why this place has such low reviews. Clearly none of you are from or have had the privilege not to go some of the most disgusting or run down cvs in certain parts of OC or LA especially. I've coming to this CVS long before I lived in this area and since I moved here 8 years ago from Irvine, it's been pretty much my number # 1 go to spot as far a local CVS. Some of the best deals on snacks and drinks I've seen especially in 2025. And I personally haven't had any bad experiences here with any of the employees. In fact several of them have been so kind and gracious to bend over backwards to help me out or others I've seen that it as well. Carlos, the store manager I believe, helped me with one of the automatic payment machines that was having issues. He was very patient, nice and so considerate of my time, all the while helping a big line of people by the way! Speaking for myself, I personally really enjoy coming here when I can. Not mention I'll have fond memories too someday of picking my little cousins from school when they're driving in a few years. read more

3.5 stars Our local CVS didn't have a family member's necessary medication in stock and this was the second time in months. This location was the only one within a certain mile radius that had any in-stock, even though it was a 2-mo supply only. After confirming the correct medication in stock to be filled. I trekked out here on a Saturday morning for the medication. This parking lot is crazy busy... The restaurant next door has people constantly coming in and out that I was tempted to order something from there. The parking spaces are also a bit tight. Once I found a parking spot, I headed directly to the pharmacy. Picked up the medication and was out in a few minutes as there was no one else in line. With COVID-19, they have no public restrooms so that was rather inconvenient. After driving 40ish minutes to get here, a restroom would have been nice. A nice customer heard me and mentioned that the Albertsons down the street has public restrooms. This CVS location is huge and has lots of products on their shelves, as compared to the CVS locations around my area. read more

Rudest pharmacy staffs. My mom came to get a flu vaccine. The technician that attended my mom was extremely unprofessional when talking to my mom in Vietnamese. Instead of helping my mom filling out the immunization form, the technician scolded my mom for not being able to complete it. Not only that specific technician, the other one did the same thing. They think they are entitled to be superior to elderly and people who cannot speak English. They live in the community where they can speak their tongue. Instead of using it to help, they talked and acted rudely towards to people who need to be taken care of with their health issues. What kind of healthcare is this? This is not what CVS corp. carries out to provide the service to the customers. I hope one day, those technicians will be the ones who will ask for help with something that they are incapable of. read more

I had a COVID test here today, and can absolutely see why this CVS has so many 1 star reviews regarding the abhorrently rude customer service. I'd give 0 stars if it were possible. I usually get routine tests done at the CVS off Bolsa Chica in HB or Walgreens, but made the mistake of scheduling here out of best appt time availability. My simple question at arrival was met with beyond condescending responses that continued til the end of the appointment. And at first, I was actually completely ignored :( It truly seemed like the Vietnamese woman administering my test hated her job and the last thing she wanted to do that day was work, help, or talk to anyone lol. There are plenty of other CVS locations in the area, I'd recommend going elsewhere. * Please note, despite Yelp reporting there is a drive thru here, that's false! "Drive thru" testing is in the parking lot, under a tent. So no real drive thru for those looking to pick up medication. read more

I was not happy at all. They were so short staffed on a Saturday. Tracie in pharmacy told us to wait 20min for our fill and also to wait for the approval for the prescription transfer from other pharmacy. However, after waiting 20 mins they did not call, text, or announce my name. I had to go ask the cashier guy. When I did, I found out, 1 of the meds was not filled. It was the one that needed the approval to transfer from the other pharmacy. The pharmacy cashier was like telling me that I was confused and told me that I didn't understand what they needed to do. I had to go back to Tracie at drop off counter and ask her why. She explained to me that she had to wait for the approval via fax. I asked them if they called the other pharmacy and she replied no. Omg...so I called the other pharmacy and right away they fax it back to cvs. Then over here at cvs, they told me again to wait another 15 mins. And now I have been waiting for more than 20 mins and it's not ready. So, again I waited for call, text, or an announcements but still no action. I looked at the line and it was like 10 ppl long, so I decided to get in line. I had to wait in line to see IF, that's only if, my med was ready. And finally at the front of the line I find out it was ready. Total wait time......1 hour and 8 minutes to get meds. If it was going to be an hour long tell me it's that long. Not 20 mins then another 15 mins then another 20 mins. read more

I go to this pharmacy because it's close by and there are people here that are friendly and professional. However, there are people who should not be working in the service industry at all. A pharmacy technician name Diệu was rude when checking my family in for a flu shot. At first she said we have no appointment at all. Luckily I had taken a snapshot of my appointment showing the date, time, and address of where I set it up. Even after showing her the confirmation, she had an attitude as if I was lying. Cruelest staff! My toddler was about to pee her pants and they staff said "no public toilet". I offered to buy something to use the restroom she still insisted "no public restroom" and suggested that maybe i can go to next door restaurants. If i had buy something, i would be your customer, and you guys do not have restroom for ur customers, given that you are in the healthcare services???!!! The side note was that i never had such experience with other CVS locations. They were very nice and one of the staffs even tried to make sure the restroom was clean before letting us in. This CVS is just down the street so I come here out of convenience. They have everything to fulfill your OTC med needs as well as snacks and cosmetics. However, I think Walmart is still cheaper. The workers are nice and helpful. The pharmacist is also quite helpful but I can hear their side conversations in Vietnamese in the back. read more

Just called to ask if my prescription is ready. They said yes and that they close at six. I rush over and get there a few minutes before six. Of course their gate is closed and no one will help me. "Sorry, we are already closed." "It's not six yet." "Our computer system is already shut down." Again, it wasn't six yet. I had just gotten off the phone with a woman that told me they close at six. Legit, do not fucking waste my time like this. I may not need my meds urgently, but there are definitely people who do. If you're so eager to close and get out of there, then don't tell me you close at "six." read more
