CUTE ARCHITECTURE! I love the Westminster aesthetic which combines quaint European culture with…read morewell-known store franchises. This Walgreens is neat on the outside, but pretty basic on the inside. I also felt it was a little empty in the front (near the register), it lacked products and staff. I came in on a Friday and was not greeted, a little more customer service would go a long way in otherwise sleepy store like this. The rest of the store is well-stocked with gifts, flowers and stuffed friends (Squishmallows). I found an excellent supply of CHANSEY Squishmallows from Pokemon and my heart was overjoyed. We came in to buy some flowers for a deceased relative down the street at the Westminster Memorial. My parents said the single roses were $5 each and the bouquets were very expensive! We adapted and bought some flowers, but this felt a little excessive on the store's part. This location is right off Beach and has a 30 min. parking limit.

I came back after the hour and they only had enough for half his prescription and told us to come back after a few days. We came back and it's still not ready. 2 weeks later and it's still not ready. They could've referred us to a different pharmacy or communicated effectively. Taking medication isn't optional. This is extremely concerning.

I had no idea there was a 24-hour pharmacy! They processed my emergency medication pretty quickly…read more I went at night at a pretty late hour. I'm glad I didn't have to wait in a super long line at the time I went because I was in immense physical pain. I had requested my meds to be sent to this pharmacy, but they sent it to the wrong CVS store (the CVS inside Target also on Brookhurst), but the person helping me out at CVS was able to let me know she can go ahead and have the meds transferred to this CVS instead and to just give her a moment to prepare my meds for me. She did it very quickly and called me back after a very short wait. I'm thankful for her because I really needed my medication because I was very sick. I then went home to sleep. I'll definitely have this place saved as my pharmacy going forward.

I had my prescription sent here due to it being one of the only locations with 24/7 pharmacy…read more I landed late at LAX and had to go straight to urgent care and ended up here. The pharmacy technician apparently left without getting a backup for the poor pharmacist. He was swamped with work and had dozens of patients from the same urgent care I came from waiting for scripts. The problem was that nothing was processed in the orders received and people waiting had others who came after had their scripts filled straightaway and leaving. I sat there like an idiot with other very sick patients well into 1am. And my insurance information wasn't taken in correctly so I paid full price. I was in no mood of waiting more so I can do an all nighter at this sketchy CVS. The outside of the store doesn't seem safe as many homeless people and other hoodlums were smoking and dealing god knows what. Certainly not a place young female should be going unaccompanied at night.

We have been coming to this neighborhood Walgreens for over 20 years. Everyone is polite, the…read morepharmacy is excellent and we see many of the same faces at the pharmacy- all are very helpful. As for the rest of the store, the people who have assisted us have been kind, quality products as one would expect, and the supply is good- never out of what we need. I realized I haven't written a review, so here it is. I had a great experience with the photo department, in particular, Paul, who processed our order of poster-sized enlargements (same-day service I was surprised to discover was offered here) and he was very helpful and fast. Thank you, Paul! The young man who rang up our order was very kind. I am shocked at the bad reviews for this store on yelp. I find them out-of-character for the store, many with poor grammar, that sound like they were written by people who are probably always mad about something. This is a nice store, a great location, and deserves WAY more stars than it has received.

Turns out it's $17.25/roll pre-tax (total = $18.76). - In my opinion, that price's a lil extortionate for such low-quality photos thru an outdated service. Must be the low supply. . Tip: when taking pics on a film camera, prioritize snaps outdoors. If you have to take indoors, highly recommended to use flash. If wanna capture legible text, make sure the font is large. . Note: Fujifilm develops your film, but you can't visit them directly (they don't have their own local retailers because the modern tech switch to digital media has obsoleted film photography), so you have to visit outsourcers like Walgreens. 12/24/25: Visited here to submit my disposable camera for film development. Staff will send my item out to Fujifilm. Thank you Hayley & Yelp Elite for the Yelpies award and the fun disposable camera! + Walgreens was my best option to submit the film. CVS was my other option. Surprisingly, Staples doesn't provide this service. Neither does UPS Store. And I rly don't wanna visit USPS... + Polite, helpful staff. + Good amount of parking. - Disappointed the process will take +2 weeks. Should I have taken my cam directly to a Fujifilm building? - Panhandler right by the front door.
