I went with Metro as the were so highly recommended, and there were reviews that said they were 'reasonably' priced which made me question what the going rate was. After speaking to others, I realize I'd been had. I wish I'd read the 1 star reviews first which complain about being over charged. When I called to get a quote I was told they'd have to see and access what kind of locks we had first. In hindsight, I should have pushed further for a quote and sent a picture of my locks.

He appeared to work hard and I genuinely appreciated his effort. However, after seeing the end result more clearly, I've realized the job was left incomplete and unprofessional--the area around the installation was left damaged and unfinished (see attached photo). Looking back, I wish the worker had been honest up front and told me if he wasn't able to handle this type of installation. Instead, the job was done poorly, and I was left with a mess to fix. It's disappointing, because I was understanding and respectful during the appointment, at the end I offered water and a bathroom break since he seemed frustrated. I did not receive any follow-up or acknowledgment for my original review, which makes this experience even more frustrating. If you are considering using this business for peephole camera installation, I would recommend asking for examples of similar work first and ensuring they are truly qualified before hiring.

After I got transferred to the first "technician" they told me to take a photo of the lock and key but then after that guy transferred me to the next person, he said a photo won't matter because he has to look at it in person. They ended up replacing the cylinder but why was it $400... these services should only cost around 100-200 MAX. Then he gave me a link to review him on Google and tell me why the company that the link leads me to is a completely different company??? His company was Yellow Diamond Locksmith.
