Wakuda is such a vibe every single time. The atmosphere is stunning -- dark, sexy, and energetic without being overwhelming. It's the kind of place that feels special the moment you walk in. The food is incredible. The sushi is super fresh and beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. You can tell there's real attention to detail in every dish. And the ginger mocktail? Absolutely amazing. So refreshing with the perfect kick -- honestly one of the best mocktails I've had in Vegas. If you're looking for great food, a chic crowd, and an overall elevated dining experience, Wakuda is definitely the spot.

Had an incredible experience at Wakuda. From the moment you walk in, it feels upscale and polished, with a beautiful dining room and a true high-end Vegas atmosphere. The standout of the night was a lobster sushi roll that instantly became one of my all-time favorite sushi dishes. It was so good we ended up ordering it three times. Every bite was fresh, perfectly balanced, and memorable. Everything else we had was excellent as well, both in presentation and taste. The service matched the setting, attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the meal. If you're looking for a fancy sushi spot in Vegas that delivers on both experience and food, Wakuda absolutely lives up to it.

Fantastic experience and food. It was our second favorite restaurant in Vegas and it was very close Great for any show at the sphere given its location Service was the best we had in Vegas Food came out quickly. Good for groups of all sizes Best - short rib was our favorite dish in Vegas. it was tender and executed to perfection. It's a must order. - grilled chicken: had the wood burning smoky taste. It was perfectly cooked. I was so surprised by this dish. - grilled asparagus - rock shrimp - desert: cookie (surprised by this one) and kakigori with candy floss was unique Okay: - crispy rice with spicy tuna - yakisoba noodles: it was good, but not a must order - toro taku roll: good

Giving this 5/5 purely on how amazing the tartare was. Literally best bite my entire CES week. The restaurant is beautiful- love the Japanese inspired decor. I would love to come to the omakase room next!

Absolutely the best!!! This is my 3rd time here. I try to visit anytime I'm in Vegas. When I'm home I dream about the food here. A MUST TRY!

    Surprisingly fun and delicious salad

Excellent experience, dark, frankly sexy ambiance, which is a good reprieve from the bright lights dazzle of the strip! There's certainly a cool factor to Wakuda and as a heads up experiences here are bifurcated in that you can do the omakase with Wakuda-san himself or work with any of the other highly competent and skilled chefs at the sushi bar, etc. Wakuda-san was not in when I stopped by, but my sushi-chef was a great guy - heads up, not traditional Japanese, but the ingredients are excellent, the knife skills on point, and it was fun to have a break from the more traditional locations with which Las Vegas also abounds. They'll add more accoutrements to your neta - maybe some caviar on the fish, pickled wasabi, etc. They do use freshly grated wasabi too which is almost table stakes at this point at Japanese fine-dining establishments. I found everyone very personable and the salad was good too. Wakuda sits in the Zama-Morimoto-Nobu side of the omakase experience but allows for more flexibility which I like, i.e., if you want one bite of nigiri at a time à la edomae style they'll do that too with aplomb. Highly recommend for a fun, eclectic and polished experience.

WAKUDA is conveniently located inside the Venetian, which is exactly why we chose it for dinner, super easy and seamless when staying on property. The decor is interesting and stylish, and the overall vibe is lively, especially around the bar area. We sat at the bar and had Vincent as our server, who did an excellent job from start to finish. His recommendations were great. We enjoyed everything he suggested. A standout for us was the Kamoizumi Summer Snow Nigori- we paired it with all of our dishes and it complemented everything beautifully. Smooth, slightly sweet, and very easy to drink. The amberjack carpaccio was also really good, fresh, well-balanced, and one of our favorite bites of the night. Overall, a wonderful choice for a fun, energetic dinner with great service and thoughtful drink pairings, especially if you're already at the Venetian.

Even though I wasn't paying, the prices are so high compared to the quality of the food. It wasn't bad per se but I'd opt to go elsewhere next time. I liked the miso sea bass and the tuna crispy rice (the rice was flavored nicely) the most of what we ordered. We also ordered: salmon truffle, salmon and tuna signature nigiris, scallops (definitely did not go well with the mushroom sauce), and 3 rolls (wagyu, tuna, and soft shelled crab). We had the coffee bean for dessert.

We were really excited about this reservation, the restaurant itself is located in the Venetian and it much larger inside than it appears- also beautifully designed and decorated. We were back and forth on ordering off the menu or going with one of the tasking menus (5 or 9 course). Ultimately we rolled the dice and went with the 9 course! Every course built on the one before it and was served it perfect succession. The staff was attentive but at the same time as if they were not there...like ghosts. Is it expensive, yes, is it worth it, YES! You're in Vegas, splurge and indulge! Here were our 9 courses: 1. Salmon on toast. 2. Oysters from WA two ways 3. Lobster ceviche (a lot of lobster!) 4. Tuna sashimi 5. Prawn tempura 6. Chilean sea bass 7. A5 Wagyu cooked table side 8. Sushi sample 9. Soft serve with golf leaf

Dined here last week with my husband on our last trip to Vegas as a childless couple and it did not disappoint. We had been there a couple times prior to this visit but our most current dining experience was the most memorable by far. We arrived at the restaurant nearly 20 minutes prior to our reservation because we were super hungry and excited for another dining experience at Wakuda and the hostess graciously seated us. Our server, Victor, was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He also made some great suggestions with the mocktails which added to our incredible experience. We enjoyed a variety of different dishes but our favorites were the grilled foie gras, the hidden treasure roll, lamb chops, tuna tartare + uni, wagyu/king crab nori tacos, foie gras sushi and the kakigori. The only negative thing about this restaurant is that there isn't one closer to our residence. We can't wait to return on our next trip to Las Vegas.

For the price the wagyu tacos were salty, the sashimi average at best, the octopus was ok. Go off the strip to get sushi

Absolutely loved our experience at Wakuda! We sat at the bar and did the tasting menu, and every single dish was a hit--truly not one miss all night. The food was beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and felt really special from start to finish. The service was outstanding: attentive, warm, and made the whole experience feel effortless. If you're looking for an unforgettable meal in Las Vegas, Wakuda is a must.

Great Omakase restaurant in the Venetian. It's easy to make reservations on their website. For party over 11 people with private room, they require credit card hold & 50% deposit. Service is top notch. They offer complimentary champagne & desserts. Beautiful & trendy restaurant with neon wall. Good vibe, good music & delicious foods & beautiful drinks. We tried omakase introductory. I think this is the lowest tier (5 course) but there is plenty of food. I would totally recommend WAKUDA.

What is the policy for people with young children? We have a 5yo.

    They are accommodating with children

    What is the dress code?

Well, like everything in Vegas, casual but I would dress business casual here

Are there any vegan options that are offered?

Can I just go for a drink at the bar?

    Yes.

There is a $100/person charge for a reservation at the sushi bar. Does that go towards your food?

They never charged me that but if you no show they may charge you this fee

    How much is omakase?

It's right on the reservation page. $500. They have set menus in the main dining room too that you can look up online too. https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/wakudavenetian/omakase-room-bar-at-wakuda-8832168387

    Are little dogs allowed?

Only if it's service animal, or that you sit outside which it's super cold now. Not ever sure they open outdoor! Call the Resto directly is best!

Inside seating vs outside seating? Im celebrating my birthday and would love to know which is better.

I've not sat inside but I have outside. It was beautiful overlooking the Vegas strip. There was several tables that would easily seat 8 people max. There was water mist lines creating a comfortable temp. Outside ambiance felt more intimate.

What else comes with the premium sashimi platter ? Side dishes?

When will they start accepting reservations for omakase?

They are not ready yet! Best bet is to call Wakuda directly or Direct Message them on Instagram.

Does this place take room charges for comps?

Yes, you can do room charge.

When will you be accepting reservations?

Reservations can be made directly through the website, restaurant phone or by contacting Venetian Concierge 702.414.4300.. patio dining with misters just opened, as well

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.

Perhaps they just know "how to eat," as in GLUTTONY and stuffing themselves with bad food. I came here based on a sole recommendation and the 1K+ positive Google reviews. I apologize in advance for being brutally frank as I am certain to insult many people, namely the 1000+ positive Google reviews. I suppose my palate is just at a different level. I do not go to AYCE sushi for a reason, except for one establishment on W. Sahara/S. Tomsik where the quality IS in fact day & night compared to "Top Sushi." From the start I ordered shrimp tempura just to see what type of batter they use and the size of the shrimp. Batter was soggy and no crunch. The shrimp was size 31/40 vs 11/12 like at my only AYCE go-to. Beyond that, the shrimp was pasty. The Korean fried chicken was good; no complaints. The mini udon had good hearty noodles but the broth was warm at best, not hot. Their salad is pure Iceberg, so it's useless with zero nutrition or taste. My other place uses only high quality mixed greens with Romaine. I can hear what you're saying, "Why order these items at an AYCE sushi restaurant?" Because it shows the integrity of an establishment putting items on the menu that pass as filler. The salmon collar was doused in oil and sauce to hide its badly pre-frozen state. This place touts themselves as having the best fish-to-rice ratio. Of course, because the quality of the fish is sooo poor, it doesn't matter. A true sushi is a 1:1 or more generously a 1.25:1 ratio of fish:rice. Any less rice is not sushi! Why fake it?!?! Just order sashimi and a side bowl of rice if you're looking for a lot of fish and a speck of rice! The proper proportions are 12-18 grams of fish to 10-12 grams of rice; that is real sushi! If your entire tray of nigiri is swimming in sauce, you're hiding the frozen fish. My go-to place has IQF fish relatively fresh that there is practically NO sauce! If you want non-frozen, go to an ala carte sushi place not AYCE. Quality fish does not need to hide behind all that muck! If you're the type of sushi eater that just gorges themselves with rolls, then this is the place for you. If you're a true sushi lover meaning nigiri with quality rice or sashimi, DO NOT even attempt coming here! The unagi had a "muddy odor" which is a sign of freezer burn. The hokkigai was so rubbery and 61-70 rather than what should be 51-60 size. The Saba was pure salt! It's supposed to be briny with the influence of the ocean not a salt bed! The mango salmon was unique and flavorful if you want to taste only mango and not the salmon. Seared Escolar was honest. Most sushi places call it "super white tuna" or "white maguro" which is BS! I give Top Sushi that. They do not hide the fact that it is Escolar. Moreover, I counted the word "imitation" 26 times on their menu!! Why would you like to eat "imitation" anyway?!? The salmon skin roll was so chewy I thought I was eating a fishy beef jerky. There are more bad examples but I need to restrain myself. When I looked around at the guests, not a single person looked like they even knew that sushi rice is a specific quality like Tamanishiki, Tamaki Gold, a more affordable Kagayagi (used at better quality AYCE venues) or at the very least Kokuho Rose, nor do they know that it is cooked with Mirin. These are the McDonald's and Denny's crowd. Let's talk about the service. It is a cattle call!! Be prepared to have no conversation, not even a "Hello" with your host/hostess. Just follow her, sit and shut up. When the servers drop off the food, you feel like you're encroaching on their lives. They are miserably unhappy. I made a concerted effort to make eye contact with every server who walked by and smiled at them to draw a response. Not ONE acknowledged me with a smile back or any sign of humanity. In fact, they just looked away and went about their business. Zero engagement; Top is the epitome of a turn-&-burn operation. Let's just make money because these guest do not know any better. The ONE server I noticed was very pleasant serving her guests with enthusiasm. She was the anomaly. The worst part is charging $35 for pure garbage. That's the normal rate for AYCE even at my go-to, but for this quality, $25 at best just for people who do not have discriminating palates and simply want to stuff themselves! In the end, I still gave an industry gratuity out of principle. It's not the staff's fault they work in a mediocre establishment. I tipped 30% nevertheless albeit I will NEVER come back. By the way, the mango mochi and Sapporo were excellent!

i was about to hit another noodle then i decided to drive along spring mountain and randomly go…read moreinto a strip mall and pick one... i chose this place as I wanted to eat some rice and check out a sushi boat place after watching daesung (big bang) ate at one of these in japan. well, this was totally different from japan one i saw on youtube. first thing i notice is that this place was packed. 2nd thing i notice is that alot of the tables are all eating noodles... that was intriguing... examining the menu, the ramens are 7 buck.. and the sushi rolls are 10 bucks... watching all the nigiri on the conveyor, i notice there isnt any premium stuff. it was all one price... no toro, no wagyu beef. no uni.... i was thinking if i want nigiri, i should not be here since I can get ayce for like $30 bucks and eat better stuff so i pick a ramen, a roll, one salmon belly nigiri, and a beer... i like the ramen, its kid size... essentially like a cup a noodle.. very good though. the roll was good, a little bit skinnier than typical. still good... i had to get one nigiri from the conveyor, the salmon belly was the best one, 3.50 cheap... the draft beer i actually down it quick.. it was nice on a hot day in vegas... total was 31 with tip.... i think if i didnt do beer, it be like 23 + tip which is same cost as going to a ramen place... funny, im trying to optimize the food cost.. just that there is so many ayce sushi spots like literally every block on spring mountain... just make no sense to do nigiri here... unless u only eat like 3-5 plates... if u going more, forget about it, do the ayce...
