Beautiful dinner at Wakuda! We arrived with a group of six and we were friendly greeted by Jackie who took a group photo and walked us to our table. Our server, Coco, took the time to outline the menu and some of her favorites. Juan, the manager, stopped by and introduced himself which added to the fine dining experience. We've met Andy, the other restaurant manager before and although he was traveling, still sent over his best wishes to us. We ordered multiple different sushi options, and two different types of desserts, you really cannot go wrong as all of the menu items tasted excellent!

A beautiful restaurant with great knowledgeable service and amazing food. Eat here every time I stay at the Venetian.

Made reservations here for my daughters 21st birthday dinner on May 26th. Had to put down a $100 per person reservation fee fyi. The hostess asked if we wanted group pictures taken in front of their neon wall and she took so many good ones. We had a table in the middle of the restaurant with the 2 Sumo wrestlers and cherry blossom trees as our backdrop. We ordered a lot of things to share and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! Here is what we ordered: miso soup, edamame, King Crab tempura, Smoked Wagyu fried rice (the server who delivered this sliced the over easy egg on top in front of us), Salmon sashimi, Dry Aged Cowboy (medium rare was cooked to perfection!) and Tobanyaki Scallops. The scallops come in an order of 4 but the waiter asked if we wanted to add another so we all got one. The scallop was the best I ever had. It was served in a bed of delicious mushrooms and some type of green vegetable with sauce and if I was home I would have licked the plate clean! We enjoyed various drinks. The boys had bottled beers and I tried the lychee martini (I wish I ordered another) and some type of spicy/sweet margarita. My birthday girl ordered some type of orange creamsicle drink then ordered another she liked it so much. For dessert we ordered the mochi ice cream and the Okinawa donuts with matcha cream filling, raspberry coulis served with salted caramel ice cream served on cookie butter crumble. Our waiter, Happy, hooked us up on the desserts for our birthday celebration AND also brought us the Kakigori with candy floss. It was an amazing experience: the service, ambience and food were incredible. We will never forget Ella's 21st birthday celebration! Thank you Wakuda!

Wakuda is such a vibe every single time. The atmosphere is stunning -- dark, sexy, and energetic without being overwhelming. It's the kind of place that feels special the moment you walk in. The food is incredible. The sushi is super fresh and beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. You can tell there's real attention to detail in every dish. And the ginger mocktail? Absolutely amazing. So refreshing with the perfect kick -- honestly one of the best mocktails I've had in Vegas. If you're looking for great food, a chic crowd, and an overall elevated dining experience, Wakuda is definitely the spot.

Had an incredible experience at Wakuda. From the moment you walk in, it feels upscale and polished, with a beautiful dining room and a true high-end Vegas atmosphere. The standout of the night was a lobster sushi roll that instantly became one of my all-time favorite sushi dishes. It was so good we ended up ordering it three times. Every bite was fresh, perfectly balanced, and memorable. Everything else we had was excellent as well, both in presentation and taste. The service matched the setting, attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the meal. If you're looking for a fancy sushi spot in Vegas that delivers on both experience and food, Wakuda absolutely lives up to it.

This time we sat in the main dining room instead of the bar. Even better experience for me since I could see much better. Our waiter was amazing. Wish I could remember his name. He was very friendly and had great recommendations. Made the evening even better. The food is top tier and what you expect from Wakuda. One of my favorite restaurants to go to and love the variety of cooked and raw items. I enjoyed every item here! The dining is a lively atmosphere where you can sit at the sushi bar or watch the chef work the robata grill. Windows along the whole restaurant.

Fantastic experience and food. It was our second favorite restaurant in Vegas and it was very close Great for any show at the sphere given its location Service was the best we had in Vegas Food came out quickly. Good for groups of all sizes Best - short rib was our favorite dish in Vegas. it was tender and executed to perfection. It's a must order. - grilled chicken: had the wood burning smoky taste. It was perfectly cooked. I was so surprised by this dish. - grilled asparagus - rock shrimp - desert: cookie (surprised by this one) and kakigori with candy floss was unique Okay: - crispy rice with spicy tuna - yakisoba noodles: it was good, but not a must order - toro taku roll: good

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place!!!!! fro the hostess allowing me in at 4:45 p.m. to the bar for a drink while I wait for the restaurant to open. Then sat me at the sushi bar. The men there could help with the menu and/or the server. I was alone and told her I wanted to try a few small items. I had the shishito peppers, shrimp & veggie robota to start. Then a salmon sashimi special with balsamic and parmesan cheese with truffle. Finally, I tried their lobster soy paper roll. Everything was amazing! My drinks were always full! The manager Andy came by to check on me and we had the nicest conversation! Do not go to Mizumi at the Wynn! Go here and you will not regret it!!!!!! I cannot say enough great things about my experience here! Great customer service especially when you are dining alone just makes you feel so special!!!!! Thank you Wakuda!

Giving this 5/5 purely on how amazing the tartare was. Literally best bite my entire CES week. The restaurant is beautiful- love the Japanese inspired decor. I would love to come to the omakase room next!

Absolutely the best!!! This is my 3rd time here. I try to visit anytime I'm in Vegas. When I'm home I dream about the food here. A MUST TRY!

Even though I wasn't paying, the prices are so high compared to the quality of the food. It wasn't bad per se but I'd opt to go elsewhere next time. I liked the miso sea bass and the tuna crispy rice (the rice was flavored nicely) the most of what we ordered. We also ordered: salmon truffle, salmon and tuna signature nigiris, scallops (definitely did not go well with the mushroom sauce), and 3 rolls (wagyu, tuna, and soft shelled crab). We had the coffee bean for dessert.

We were really excited about this reservation, the restaurant itself is located in the Venetian and it much larger inside than it appears- also beautifully designed and decorated. We were back and forth on ordering off the menu or going with one of the tasking menus (5 or 9 course). Ultimately we rolled the dice and went with the 9 course! Every course built on the one before it and was served it perfect succession. The staff was attentive but at the same time as if they were not there...like ghosts. Is it expensive, yes, is it worth it, YES! You're in Vegas, splurge and indulge! Here were our 9 courses: 1. Salmon on toast. 2. Oysters from WA two ways 3. Lobster ceviche (a lot of lobster!) 4. Tuna sashimi 5. Prawn tempura 6. Chilean sea bass 7. A5 Wagyu cooked table side 8. Sushi sample 9. Soft serve with golf leaf

WAKUDA is conveniently located inside the Venetian, which is exactly why we chose it for dinner, super easy and seamless when staying on property. The decor is interesting and stylish, and the overall vibe is lively, especially around the bar area. We sat at the bar and had Vincent as our server, who did an excellent job from start to finish. His recommendations were great. We enjoyed everything he suggested. A standout for us was the Kamoizumi Summer Snow Nigori- we paired it with all of our dishes and it complemented everything beautifully. Smooth, slightly sweet, and very easy to drink. The amberjack carpaccio was also really good, fresh, well-balanced, and one of our favorite bites of the night. Overall, a wonderful choice for a fun, energetic dinner with great service and thoughtful drink pairings, especially if you're already at the Venetian.

What is the policy for people with young children? We have a 5yo.

    They are accommodating with children

    What is the dress code?

Well, like everything in Vegas, casual but I would dress business casual here

Are there any vegan options that are offered?

Can I just go for a drink at the bar?

    Yes.

There is a $100/person charge for a reservation at the sushi bar. Does that go towards your food?

They never charged me that but if you no show they may charge you this fee

    How much is omakase?

It's right on the reservation page. $500. They have set menus in the main dining room too that you can look up online too. https://www.sevenrooms.com/experiences/wakudavenetian/omakase-room-bar-at-wakuda-8832168387

    Are little dogs allowed?

Only if it's service animal, or that you sit outside which it's super cold now. Not ever sure they open outdoor! Call the Resto directly is best!

Inside seating vs outside seating? Im celebrating my birthday and would love to know which is better.

I've not sat inside but I have outside. It was beautiful overlooking the Vegas strip. There was several tables that would easily seat 8 people max. There was water mist lines creating a comfortable temp. Outside ambiance felt more intimate.

What else comes with the premium sashimi platter ? Side dishes?

When will they start accepting reservations for omakase?

They are not ready yet! Best bet is to call Wakuda directly or Direct Message them on Instagram.

Does this place take room charges for comps?

Yes, you can do room charge.

When will you be accepting reservations?

Reservations can be made directly through the website, restaurant phone or by contacting Venetian Concierge 702.414.4300.. patio dining with misters just opened, as well

Drink wise: 10/10 would recommend the Strawberry Lychee Soju cocktail Nicole's customer service was on point during my family's most recent visit. Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto.
